Heppa Duskdale

Heppa jumped away from Genevieve again, attempting to get away before Genevieve could attack her. Sweat dripped down the side of Heppa's face, making her feel weak. Her brow furrowed as she took a look around. She wanted to use the scenery to her advantage. There was moss growing every where. Then an idea sparked inside of her head. The spark slowly grew into a steady flame. Heppa had a plan. She grabbed a handful of moss and threw some at Genevieve's eyes, hoping to distract her. Then, while Genevieve struggled with the moss stuck to her eyes, Heppa shot Skye's missed arrow at her. Hopefully, Genevieve wouldn't have enough time to block. Heppa gulped and wondered if the Gamemakers liked her. She would know soon. If the moss was especially sticky and stuck to Genevieve, it would be the Gamemakers. There was no way normal moss could be so sticky that it would hang on for that long. Heppa hoped that the odds were in her favor.

I jabbed Maria with my spear. I cleaned some of my newest wounds with spit. Yeah, spit. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Heppa throw moss at Genevievi's eyes. I picked up some dirt at Maria's eyes. To distract her, or possibility blind her.

Genevieve gave a little squeak as the moss covered her face. She nimbly tore it off before jumping to the side instinctively. And her instincts were right. She saw Heppa shoot an arrow at her and tried to avoid it. "What are you, seven?" she called to her. Honestly, what kind of person through moss at someone else's face? Weirdo. Genevieve slashed at Heppa viscously before darting back again.

Skye stifled a laughter, seeing Heppa throwing moss at Genevieve only for Genevieve to avoid the attack. It was a childish play, but it was also a smart one. Luckily Genevieve's instincts were quick enough. He picked up the arrow that stuck onto the mossy ground from Genevieve's avoidance and pull back before Heppa could try another shot. He was disappointed in himself, missing two times in a row. Genevieve was hitting Heppa one after anotherand he felt bad, not being able to hit. He could sense his sister's worry somehow, and he didn't want to let her down. He released the arrow a split second later. Maybe the moss would give her an infection or something. Megan then came silently over behind him, back to back, declaring that she won't be dying in the battle. Skye grinned in confidence, "Good. 'cause neither am I."

Megan thought about the families, him amd hers, who were awaiting back home. Megan knew Skye's youngest sister....It was Kaira Walker. Kaira...the poor girl was probably breaking up. “I'll help you and Genevieve. We need to get out of this,”Megan whispered and threw one of her knives at Heppa, then gripped another one, one she had previously found on the ground.Hopefully she would get a good hit.

I moved my head back and turned it to the side as she threw dirt at me, such a low blow like seriously. That was when I went and held my sword up and blocked her attack and with my body weight I swung my sword forward aiming to hit her.

I throw up my spear to block Maria's sword. Then grab a knife and throw it at her. I knew the dirt trick wouldn't work. I don't know why I even tried. I prepare my self for the next attack.

I back away from the fighting, careful to still stay out of range of the mutts. No one seems to be paying attention to me right now. I decide that now would be a good time to take care of some of my earlier wounds.

As I take care of my injuries, I keep a watchful eye on the fight around me. I don't know which side to take, but I definitely don't want to bring on the attacks of half the tributes.

Megan looked around for victims carefully and also scanned for weapons. She quickly found them. While picking up an aorow and handing it to Skye, she whispered “Ashley. She's trying to escape. But not before we do,”Megan crept over to the girl, and when she was distracted, she jabbed her with her knife. Sorry... She thought quietly.

Josh was still calm. He was mad Megan really didn't care anymore though. He slashed and jumped back "so how has it been going with you, Maria" he asked her as he jumped back.

I was focused on my battle out with Snow and when she blocked my attack I gritted my teeth. To avoid her next attack I jumped back and then put force into my lunge to attack Snow. That was when I heard Josh, "Oh you know, I think it's all happiness and joy around here." I said in sarcasm and rolling my eyes. "What did you think I was doing?" I asked laughing a bit.

Whilst the tributes fight, a large predator jumps into the pit, landing on Brandon with its paw and crushing his body. The Mutt swipes all the tributes off their feet and jumps away before anyone could get a good view of it.

I jump away as I'm attacked by another tribute, then I quickly slash at my opponent. Before I have anymore time to think, I'm swept off my feet by something. I don't get a good look at it as it runs away, but I know that it must have been some type of mutt. I try to stand up on my feet again, running only on adrenaline now.

Genevieve shrieked as the huge mutt jumped down into the pit. She tried to jump away as it swiped at everyone. But the stupid thing still managed to hit her. She fell onto her side and quickly got up again and looked around. She leaped at Heppa, hoping she would still be dazed from the mutt's attack.

((Genevieve missed her last attack on Heppa, so I figured it would be okay for Genevieve to attack again without Heppa being able to block))

Megan tried to block the blow after the mutts swept her off her tender feet. Then she stabbed Ashley again. For now, she was determined to escape first. But she had to block the others first.
