josh was finally able to walk away. He didn't even have to block anything. He turned his face to the side and got a good look at his pursuers. Now he was off to the island, where he could find a real threat, and Maria.

Genevieve sighed as Josh finally managed to get away. She made a rude gesture to him behind his back and turned to Skye. "What now?" she asked curiously. Hopefully Skye wouldn't leap forward and attack her. If they wanted to survive they would probably have to stay in their alliance. Genevieve tipped her head to the side, readjusting her grip on her spear so she could use it if needed.

Skye laughed a little as Genevieve made a rude gesture as Josh got away. He felt a little better now that the source of anger was gone. But he still wanted him dead. He dropped his arms to his side and sighed, "I don't really know, but let's just get out of this place first," Skye paused as he glanced around the aftermath of that fight. His eyes painfully lingered towards Megan before he managed to convince himself that she was happier now and turned back to Genevieve, getting out a small smile, "it's late, how 'bout we find a good place to rest first? Unless you're up for more action," he joked and nodded towards the direction Josh had left in.

He winced for a second as he moved with his sore muscles and injured limbs, the adrenaline and anger was gone and everything started working as per normal, including his senses. Skye was finally feeling like himself again, but himself would probably be disgusted with what he was trying to do just now. What would Kaira have thought of him then? It would be almost hilarious if he made it back and Kaira got scared of him.

Genevieve tipped her head to the side slightly, considering her options. Where could she and Skye go? "Well, there's this underground lake that I've been to twice now. The waters safe and it seems pretty tranquil. If resting's what you want then it's probably the best place to go." she said eventually. Genevieve was quite eager to get back to her lake. Yes, it was her lake. She'd probably been there more often than most people. "So do you want to go?"

Skye thought for a little while and smiled before nodding, "sure, let's go." The tiredness was setting in and he forced his legs to move, letting Genevieve lead the way. He let out a long shaky sigh before turning back to see Megan one last time. He turned back towards where they were and decided to leave the horrible place.
