I stripped off my clothes until I was standing in my bra and underwear. I shivered. "Good enough?" I asked her, Milo was awake and I didn't like this one bit. I thought the act was over once I entered the Arena, but no, I was still stripping for peoples amusement.

Milo flinched. He didn't want to make enemies with Brook of all people. "Well then, let her prove her worth as you say," he returned coolly. "But she's won't be able to prove anything dead at your feet."

I bit my lip "Milo?" I prompted "Your in charge of our fine stripper friend here." I kept the bitterness out of my voice this time being a bit gentler. Our relationship couldn't go sour just because I was going mental. It just couldn't. To Firefly I said, "Put your clothes back on if you want to bother, I'm sure you're going to take them off again under his command." A tear fell down my cheek but I wiped it away before he could notice

I quickly put my clothes back on. I was tiered of the stripper act. "I'm no stripper, I have a name." I said once I could feel my fingers again.

Vanessa leaned back on a tree, watching the whole scene through narrowed eyes. Personally, she didn't trust the district 10 girl. Also, the alliance already had enough people. Van caught Brook shed a tear, and she shot her a questioning look. Vanessa flipped her hair over her shoulder and walked forward, "Can't say I agree that you're not a stripper." She said with a smirk, "But yes, I guess we should call you by your name. Firefly, right?"

"Call me what you please. Anything but stripper. That was all an act." I pleaded to the district 4 girl. I made a tensive move toward my bow, I wasn't sure that was a good idea though.

Milo let out a frustrated sigh. "Please, Brook," he said of her 'under his command' comment. His head was throbbing and his vision fuzzy around the edges. He met the girls' eyes and said, slowly, "If you would like to back out now, do it. But if you unite with the other alliance and help to bring us down, you're dead. And if you're half way in this alliance, you're dead too."

Quieter, more weary, he hissed to Brook, "And I wouldn't talk about her taking off any clothes," even quieter, "I saw how cozy it was for you and Jacob." Though it was hard to detect, Milo's voice was heavy with hurt.

I bit my lip. "Call her what you want," I told the rest of the group. "To me she's nothing but a dirty item." I walked away into the dark woods leaving my pack. I kept silent, it seemed as though I had turned into the leader but I had nothing more to say right now. "Slut" I muttered under my breath my thoughts filled with anguish.

Milo stood unsteadily, motioning to Jacob. "Watch her," he started after Brook slowly. He was mad. And in pain. And jealous. And worried. And sick...he vomited behind a tree quickly and kept going. Finally he was in reach of her, he leaned against a tree, sweaty and panting and feeling so sick. "Brook, you're the only one I can really trust. I'm sorry..."

"Milo.. How could you say that to me.." I cried. "I'd never cheat on you and you know it.." Kill him Brook he's unarmed... a part of me thought. "Milo help.. I'm hearing voices in my head.. I've killed three people none older than me.." I hugged him tightly

"I'm sorry," he repeated, breathing in the familiar scent of her hair. "In the arena, everything seems so unreal, I get paranoid and their whole goal is to turn everyone against each other." He didn't know what else to say to make her feel better, so he just murmured quietly, "It's okay. I'm here. It's okay. Calm down."

Vanessa stared at the argument between Brook and Milo. Much drama was happening at the games. I bet the Capitol is just loving this. She thought bitterly to herself. When Milo went after Brook, Van turned to Firefly. "You should leave. This is no time to recruit more allies." She told her. "Next time we meet, you might not be so lucky to escape unharmed like right now."

I bit back a sob, I couldn't look too weak or i'd end up with no sponsor money. "Milo.. promise me that we'll both try and make it to the end?" I asked not letting go. "Promise me that we'll keep each other safe so one of us gets to go home in the end?"

"Promise," he repeated. You'll make it, Brook. Damn right you will. "Let's go back, he said, not wanting to let go of her. "I left Jacob to watch Firefly, but I don't know if something happened. And I don't like to be separated without a weapon."

I nodded jogging back to camp supporting Milo as we went. I just heard Van tell 'The Stripper' to get lost. "Stop." I said reaching camp. "Firefly, I'm sorry." I said quietly "Please forgive me and stay with us? Let me take a look you had a nasty looking bruise on your chest."

"Listen Brook, I'm sorry, but both you and 4 girl here have made it clearly obvious that I am unwelcomed here. Please excuse me." I said then grabbed my bow and ran off back the way I came.

Vanessa sighed as Firefly turned down Brook's offer. "Well, I'm going to try and get some sleep. Any of you try to stab me, you'll regret it." She announced, grabbed a sword and got into a sleeping bag. She put the sword beside her and lay down, closing her eyes. Van wondered if she should have been nicer to the district 10 girl. She opened an eye to see Firefly racing off with her bow. Vanessa groaned, if she had been nicer, she could've persuaded Firefly to give her the bow and use a sword instead.

"How about we all go." I said starting off with my weapons. "We'll come back and get our gear after we kill her." soon enough I could see Firefly's running shape in the night she slowed down to take a breather and thats when I attacked taking her by surprise.

I nodded and ran with my spear behind Brook, staying a bit back, to give some ranged support. I figured Milo and Vanessa would both try and come to help, Milo was hurt, but he wanted to help Brook live.I moved in a bit closer and tensed my legs to charge if Brook needed some up close help, but for now I knew what could give her a nice advantage, I prepared to throw one of my knives, corrected on my aim as best as I could and steadied my bad leg. This was the right moment, so I let it fly and hoped for the best.
