I slide in slowly, making sure there was a zipper on my side in case I needed to get out to fight. "Least you didn't get stabbed by your own knife" I mutter quietly. "What do you think the other tributes are doing?"

"I'd imagine half of them are sleeping by now.." I shifted so my bad arm wasn't rubbing against his coat, "You can take off your coat." I pointed out, "It'll give you more room and we can share body heat that way."

Milo came to slowly, cracking his eyelids, feeling pain shooting through his head, and closing them again quickly. He could make out figures huddled in sleeping bags around him. He connected thoughts slowly, ringing gong, shining cornucopia, spear, cliff, pain, and then nothing. Brook...BROOK! Panic shot through him and he lurched up. Instantly, fireworks exploded in his head. Pain everywhere, blinding him. He let out a sharp cry of pain and fell back down, clutching his head.

I'd left the other group, had fallen down some freakish hole, and then came out at the base of the mountain. I'd heard some voices and decided to follow them, perhaps this was the 6 group. I strapped my bow onto my back and had my hands raised above my head in surrender, hopefully this would make sure that they didn't attack.

I looked over to where a figure had sat up in his sleeping bag, "M-Milo!" I choked out in surprise. "You're OK!" the temperature was pretty cold out I should probably put on my coat standing out in just my bra and pants was cold enough but I was too overwhelmed with emotion to care. "You're alright!" I repeated. Not noticing Firefly coming towards us.

The world was spinning in circles as Milo struggled to sit up again. Failed. "Brook," he managed to moan, trying to form his mouth into a smile.

"Are you alright?" I asked concerned "Where are you hurt?" A twig snapped behind me and I whirled seeing the District 10 Girl there with the bow over her head. I was unarmed myself except for the rope at my feet. "Get on your knee's and drop the bow." I told her shivering. Too late to clothe myself now.. I thought "I Will not kill you so long as you are not threatening."

I shifted in my bag, "We've got company" I whisper. I slide myself out of the bag and crawl silently to Brook. We were pretty okay on our own, the more people we had, the more possible liabilities or backstabbers. I kept my spear ready, in case.

"Lets see what she has to offer." I whispered back, I happened to have a bandage in my pocket so I drew it out and told Jacob. "Cover me." I turned and wrapped Milo's forehead "Feel better?" I asked him turning back around so the girl knew I was unarmed, and unclothed I approached cautiously holding up the rope. "I'm going to tie your wrists. I will not hurt you and promise we will not harm you so long as you are in our captivity."

I switched my spear to my backhand, for easier throwing, I stayed back and acted semi-casual, but stayed ready to throw at the girl at any moment.

Slowly, Milo sat up. The world spun, then steadied. Then he sat, his head resting on his knees, breathing shallow. There was another person there. He wasn't in any position to protect Brook. He silently cursed himself. Remember your priorities.

I looked around and saw Milo's sword, and grabbed it. I slid it onto his lap and looked back at him for a second, "If things go rough, its better safe than sorry" I whisper, before shuffling a bit forward to keep in range of the new girl.

I complied and laid my bow on the ground and got on my knees. They had rights to not trust me. I just wondered if I was laying down my life.

I put on my coat as she laid down her weapon. The instant warmth was enough tonmake me thankful, but I tied Fireflys wrists nonetheless and picked up the bow tossing it a few feet away. "What are you doing here?" I asked sharply

"Why us?" I asked "What makes you think we won't just kill you?" I slowly ran my sword blade under her chin not quite breaking skin. "List all your supplies." I demanded as well.

"I'm not sure about that. Actually, and Well, you would be as likely to kill me as the other group would be. My supplies are my bow, 29 arrows, and a sleeping bag." I said evenly. If I was to survive this I would have to play nice girl and comply to everything.

"What makes you think we want you?" I hissed in her ear, "You could backstab any of us, why should we give you the chance?" my sword traced her outline "Are you carrying any concealed weapons? Tell me now and I'll let you live. Lie and you die."

"I only have my bow and arrows. And if you don't want me you can kill me. You could strip me and see, I'm not lying." I said, again evenly. I didn't really like Brook at the moment.

"Brook," Milo spoke up. "Don't hurt her," he continued. He didn't know why he said it, maybe it was just because he didn't like the look he saw in Brooks' eyes. She looked like a killer. But he needed to get in the game, too. He was weak. No way to protect Brook...thoughts bounced back and forth across his mind. "She could be of use to us," he added.

"Whatever you say." I said ironically untying her hands, then I glanced at Milo.. I realized what I was turning into but, somewhere my mind told me that I was just saving both our lives acting this way. "She can prove her own worth Milo." I told him unable to keep the sting out of my voice.
