Making my way downtown (OPEN)

I looked up at him suprised and,even though he's smiling,Isaw the sadness in his eyes.I got up and took his hand,pulling him to sit on the bed as I sat beside him."Hey...What's wrong?"I asked in conserne and placed my hand on his shoulder

He sits down and slightly sighs. "It's...it's nothing. Thanks though.." He feels her place a hand on his shoulder and he looks at her. He smiles and says, "I thought you were gonna try to not touch me." He's joking, looking at her, directly in the eye.

"Not until you tell me.Come on,what happened?I've known you for half a day and you've never been sad!"I told him.

Dralin sighed again and said, "Fine...my dad kicked me out of the house last year. I was sneaking out with some friends instead of training so...he just kicked me out. Sometimes, I sneak in but he hasn't found me yet...so I guess you could say I don't have a home...I'm the poor kid of District 2..." He looks at the ground, no longer smiling. A tear was threatening to come out, but he didn't let it. It wasn't even that big of a deal...there was no way he would cry...

I sighed and hugged him tightly."I'm so sorry,Dralin.You are worth so much more than that.You didn't deserve that.Look...Um...Y-you can stay here.This is your new home from now on.You can come here whenever you want,bring your friends...Don't be sad...You don't look that good sad"I murured soothingly

He smiled when she hugged him. Then he heard her say that he could stay with her, and he wrapped his arms around her, slightly tight. "Thanks Sophie...you have no idea how much this means to me..." He held her there and listened to her murmur to him and he didn't feel as sad...he finally found someone who would take him in...even if it was just a teenage girl. But, that could also have an upside as well.

I smiled and slightly nuzzled his neck."Don't worry about it,ok?"I replied and pulled back."So,where are your stuff,huh?We've got a moving to do!"I laughed and messed his hair a little

He smiled and said, "Well...the remainder of my clothes is being hidden by my mom so my dad can't find it...so I have no clue where my clothes are." He looks at her, seeing what her reaction would be to him barely having any clothes. He was still smiling, because he thought the idea of his dad hiding his belongings was amusing.

"Then tomorrow is shopping day"I said and stood up."Come on,let's go see your new room."

Dralin stood up as well and followed her saying, "Shopping huh? Sounds fun..." He was smiling, and still following her. He had taken a liking to her, not sure if it was just a friendly sort of thing or a romantic sort of thing, but either way he felt...happier when he was with her. He hadn't felt like this before and it was a bit...exciting for him.

"Not as much as you may think,kid"I replied as we walked to the other end of the hallway.There was a light blue door,which I pushed open widely.Inside,the walls were the same blue color and there were paintings on them."My mom's."I explained and pointed at the bed in the corner,next to the window."And that's your bed.It's a little too big for one persone to sleep here alone but...You'll get used to it."I teased him and winked."So,good night,Dralin.See you tomorrow!"I waved and closed the door behind me as I left

He grinned when she made her remark and watched as she left. He walked over to the bed and lied down, exhausted. He sighed and started to drift off, still smiling. It had been a while since he had been in an actual bed...it was nice. He was going to like his new life...for however long he had it.

I quietly ran to my room and changed into my nightgown before jumping on the bed and cuddling under the covers with Fluffy,who had jumped in from the tree next to the open window

I woke up at about 7 am,streched my arms and got up.I made my hair,still a bit curly from yesterday,a messy ponytail and walked out.Tiptoeing to Dralin's room,I slightly pushed the door open,only to see he was still sleeping.I smiled and closed the door again before walking down the stairs to the kitchen so I could prepare breakfast

It had been fifteen minutes that Sophie had checked his room that Dralin woke up. He got out of bed and walked to the door. He went to Sophie's room and noticed she had already gotten up. He sighed slightly and groggily made his way downstairs. He could smell food, and smiled. He went over to the couch and sat down, still drowsy from waking up.

I got out of the kitchen with a tray and smiled as I noticed Dralin on the couch."Good morning,sleeping beauty"I said and placed the tray in front of him."I finally managed to make the pancakes!Your jacket and shirt are clean and dry if you want to wear them.There is also orange juce,toast and cupcakes from yesterday"I told him and sat down beside him

He looked at her when she called him sleeping beauty. He smiled and said, "Hey, I had to carry you for a while...which was mostly my fault, but you get the point." He starts to eat, and hears her say there were cupcakes from yesterday. "There were cupcakes yesterday? And you didn't give me any? Now that's just cold..." He said jokingly.

I rolled my eyes and laughed."I'm not that fat!And,if I knew you were that exausted,I would have."I replied."Wanna hear the schedule of the day?"

Dralin just laughed along with her when she responded to him. Then she said something about the schedule for the day and he said, "Not entirely but I get the feeling I'm gonna hear it anyway. He was smiling, showing he was joking.

"Indeed.You are free to do whatever you want until 5 pm.You must be gone from thento 7:45.Got it?"I said and nodded

He looked at her puzzled. "Why do I have to leave?" He assumed she was just going to say it was a secret, but hey, never hurts to ask anyway.

"I have something to do"I just said and kept eating

He smiled more and said, "What, you're not gonna tell me what you have to do? He sat there, looking at her, obviously waiting for a reply. He wanted to know what she would do that would require him leaving...then he thought he may have gotten an idea of what it was, but he kept that to himself.

I growled."I have a meeting with Brad,ok?"I shouted and glared at him
