Leda laughed and rolled her eyes yet again. "Oh, honey. You wish, but I don't sleep with elders," she scoffed. "And what is up with that overused comeback? Are you five? Because - and I don't think I can reiterate this point enough - you look about 50." Leda enjoyed the banter a bit, but she could tell he knew as much well as she did that the fight needed to end as soon as possible. "Come on, you want this battle to end as much as I do. Just die already. You know you want to," she cooed through clenched teeth, whipping her arm out of the way as she darted backwards to avoid his attack. "If I start talking about your precious little district partner, are you gonna go all ragey on me?" Leda switched her stance back from a defensive one to something more offensive, her weight resting on her back foot, her stake at the ready. She struck the stake forward, willing it to plunge into his flesh with as much strength as she could muster. "Should I say goodbye to you now, or do you want me to leave it until your dying moment?" she murmured, loud enough for him to understand if he was listening but no louder than necessary. Leda glared at Norman as he escaped her attack. She was bored of this already. She wanted him to die with such a passion that it would have scared her if she hadn't just gone through the Games, albeit with not much trouble, considering all the potential. "I'll shut up when you die," she sighed, "but only for a moment of silence. Then it's right back to bitching at everyone, yeah?" Leda blocked his knife with her stake, hoping to hear the clang of metal that meant she had avoided further injury. "You giving up on the sass, then? Aww, and here I thought you wanted to make your little girlfriend proud." She lunged forward and twisted the stake, aiming for his gut but happy with any damage if it would freaking kill him already. "You sure abandoned her quickly." Leda kind of hoped the words hurt, but more than anything she hoped her attack hurt like hell, and dragged him down there, too. Hurry up and die, Norman, she ordered him mentally, wishing she could project that thought into reality.

Leda grinned, enjoying the sight of him writhing with anger. "Oh, honey, but I don't believe in necrophilia." She was immensely pleased by his injuries now. Just one successful attack would finish him off, but she knew she shouldn't get cocky. She was pretty far gone herself, and she'd learned the hard way that things could go south extremely quickly and out of nowhere. "Did you like it?" Leda seethed, tilting her head to the side. He missed, thankfully, and she gave him a death glare. "Did it feel good, killing her? Did you get some sort of sick pleasure when the blood gushed out of her body at your hands? You seem rather eager to kill me." She spun, hurling her stake towards his wounds, hoping with all that was left in her heart that it would sink in and end his sorry life. He told her he didn't want her rest to be peaceful and she shrugged. "Oh, it won't be. I have no doubt I'm going straight to hell. But you'll have to wait a few years for that." Leda spat in his face, her saliva mixed vividly with blood. "You can show me the ropes when I get there, eventually. Which beds of blades hurt the most, which pits of fire sear the memories away most quickly. Leda didn't even notice her injury until Norman pointed it out. She scoffed. "You need help from your dinosaur just to kill me? Tsk, tsk." She was pissed that he'd blocked her attack, and for the extra damage, but she couldn't think about it right now. Just fight, kill, and survive. Leda inhaled deeply, hating the feeling of blood dripping down her hand and sticking her fingers together. Norman sent a powerful attack towards her torso, and she shoved herself backwards to evade it, knowing that any attack could be her ultimate undoing. "Say hi to my parents for me," she said, dead-pan. "You'll be joining 'em real soon." Leda gathered her energy, directing it all through her hand and forcing it forwards as she shot her stake into Norman's battered body, fighting to kill. "I'm a survivor, bitch. A cannon fired, and all but two of the dinos dispersed. Deno trotted over to Norman, nudging him back from Leda as well as congratulating him. Geo made his way to Leda at a slow pace, sadness evident in the little Sass Master's eyes. He didn't flee like the others had, just stood by as his master died. When she was gone, Geo looked at Norman with a blank expression, nodded, and trotted off, to wherever the other dinos had gone.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the Victor of the 36th Annual Hunger Games, Norman Rowe!" A voice boomed.

Alone now, Deno looked up to Norman, seeming to grin, then began to shrink, his neck loosing length and legs becoming more sprawled out. Soon, before the victor stood not a Diplodocus, but an Iguana, fairly young it seemed.

A hovercraft appeared above, breaking the silence. The Games had finally ended.

As Norman won, Aspen had appeared in front of him, only he was able to see her and she smiled at him. She wasn't able to directly talk to him or anything but there was there and she gave him a thumbs up and nodded to signal that he had done good. Aspen was proud that he won for their district and that her sacrifice was a good one. She soon vanished now that she was finally at peace.

(just to clarify only Norman can see her and she is infact dead)

NORMAN ROWE -- District Seven -- DENO THE DIPLODOCUS

Norman felt his knife enter Leda's chest for the final time. A massive blow, ending what had been a terrible fight. Looking around, Norman watched two of the creatures leave, and Deno and Leda's come towards them. Turning back to Leda, he watched her end. Norman found himself being nudged away by Deno, forced to take steps backwards. He still stared; to Leda's body, the knife impaled in her chest, the creature that looked over her. It was over. "I'm so sorry..." he whispered, losing all strength to accomplish anything much. Norman was quite unsure of what to do but stare. He finally, after what seemed to be an eternity, heard a cannon fire. A booming voice announced him a victor, and Norman found himself dropping to his knees. Somewhere inside, he felt like crying, but was unable to, the tears not coming.

Eyes closed and facing the ground, Norman heard the approaching hovercraft. Looking forward, he looked at an iguana?? he thought to himself. The creature seemed to be smiling at him. "Deno?" he questioned. Grabbing the iguana, Norman stood. Staring at him now was Aspen. A thumbs up and a nod was all she gave before disappearing. Shaking his head and shutting his eyes, Norman waited. "I've been through hell now..." he muttered. "I'm so sorry, Leda. I'll make sure I never forget you, sass master," he said, looking at her. Biting his tongue, he turned to stare at the maple tree and await the end.
