Alert and Ready.

Norman had turned to sprinting, his tracking skills kicking into overdrive. Norman found himself in a forest, though, with a ground that seemed quite marshy. The trees were quite thin in size and would seem to snap if Norman put any weight on them. Taking a few easy steps, Norman felt comfortable walking on the ground for the moment, and decided to walk a hair faster. Soon, ahead of him, his prey loomed. A growl erupted in his throat as he looked at his prey. Dropping all cares of the  muddy ground, Norman stormed forward with his knife drawn, slashing into the body of the boy.

Norman felt his knife sink into the boy's leg. Quite an uncomfortable hit for Norman, but a hit nonetheless. Standing tall once more, Norman glared at the boy. Leda had since joined him and swung her own attack at the boy. He had failed a block and Norman grimaced at the sound the stake made in the boy. "That was a hell of a hit," he muttered under his breath. Watching the boy, Norman noticed him begin to swing his pick on Leda. Norman smiled. "Uh uh uh," he said, wagging his knife at the boy. Norman pulled out his stake and threw it in front of the other boy's in an attempt to block. Satisfied with himself, Norman swung his knife into the boy. "Nice knowing ya kid."

Norman felt relief as the boy finally died. Leda had told him to give his final words, which were apparently for the two to never forget him. Norman stopped himself from rolling his eyes as he placed his hand on the boy's shoulder. "Don't worry bucko, we won't. That's if either of us makes it out," he said, first sarcastically then truthfully. Pushing on his shoulder, Norman knocked the boy over. It was a sad fact that people died in these Games, but he wasn't about to let his emotions get the better of him. Turning to Leda, he gave her a questioning look. "Am I your knight now? he questioned. "And if so, does this knight have to kill his princess?" A slight chuckle escaped his lips, "I sure as hell hope not," he told her. Looking around, water had arisen in the ground. "I doubt they'd make us fight in the water. However, it ain't unlikely that I'll have to kill my partner." Norman grimaced, he didn't want to have to kill his partner again just to get home. He'd rather take his own life than that.
