District 4 Train

This is the D4 Train for D4 tributes

Hunter stepped on the train yawning. Another year mentoring these kids. Why can't a district four tribute win? Ugh. Hunter groaned and walked over to a cooler filled with alcoholic drinks. There was only one time of year Hunter would drink. During the games. He would never admit it, but he was still scarred from his time in the games 6 years ago. The drank to escape the horror that would come back fresh in his mind every-time he looked in the eyes of a tribute. Over the six years he'd seen so many young people, children, freaking children, say their last words and live their last breaths. It was heartbreaking, and every year there would be somebody who had to lose the one they love in the games like he did with Esther.

Hunter wiped the thoughts from his mind and plopped down onto a silky couch. He sat patiently sipping his drink, waiting for the tributes to board the train. "Any minute now..."

Triton walked along the train cars, looking for the other tribute or the mentor. He opened the door to a car and he found them both sitting there. Triton entered the room, and took a seat on a chair near to where Savannah was sitting. "Hey" He replied.

I look over at Triton "Hey, are you scared at all? I mean, just a little?" I asked him. "Also, do you want to be in a alliance too?"

I was taken a back by the question a little, "No, not really." I replied after thinking about it for a second. "And Sure, an alliance sounds fine, and with the other careers?" I questioned.

"Maybe, but I dont think we could trust 1 and 2," I told him. "Because they could lie and kill us right away." I also telling him to try to make my point.

"Okay, I think we can agree that we should do that." I say quickly, knowing that if i get this guy mad he can kill me in the blink of an eye. "How did YOU win? When will training start? Do you have any advice after the bloodbath?" I start asking him a bunch of questions.

"Do you want us to show our strengths or just act like we are weak, but only let the careers know what weapons we are good at?" I asked him, I have so many questions to ask, but not enough time.

Hunter sipped his drink as he listened to Savannah ask all her questions. "Relax, We'll be on this train for another day or so. You have plenty of time to get all your questions in." Hunter set his drink down on the coffee table in front of the couch. "Here's the thing. You have to find balance between what talents you hide, and what talents you show. You want to show enough talent so people know you're good, but you need to save some special surprises. That way other tributes will think they know what to expect, but they'll be dead wrong."

"Okay.." The thought finally settled in and she finally calms down, she decides she is suddenly hungry and got a muffin from the buffae and ate it. She starts turning into her own self, the friendly, and cool person a lot of people knew. "I really hope that the arena has different islands, due to my great swimming," she mumbled to herself.

I grabbed a piece of pie from the table in front of me, and sat down to eat it. I continued to keep letting Savannah ask questions, because I couldnt think of any myself.

"Im actually tired, Imma go to bed," I tell the mentor, and walk to my room to sleep.

I looked up from my piece of pie, when Hunter addressed me. "Oh yeah, of course, Im fine. Just not really sure what to say." I replied

I woke up the next morning, feeling very well rested. I got out of bed and got dressed, then headed to the diner car for breakfast. I saw Sav already there, so I took a seat next to her. "Good Morning, Sav. Did you have a good sleep?" I asked her as I grabbed a plate of food and began to eat.

I looked up and saw Triton, "Oh hey, yes I did have a good sleep." I answer him with a smile. "Hunter is probably still sleeping, old people these days." She told triton, adding a giggle with saying that.

"Are you excited to get to the capitol?" I asked her. "This is going to be the greatest experience of my life, and I get to spend it with such a gorgeous girl." I added smiling at Sav, as I watched her sitting there.

"I'm kind of excited, I mean, we finally get treated like royalty, right?" I told him, as well as blushing from what he said, "Well, I get to spend it with such a charming man," I replied back winking at him. After that I went up to get a piece of peanut butter stroosel pie, sat down, and ate it. (best pie ever.)
