Making my way downtown (OPEN)

He grew a sly grin and he said, "Maybe I need to dumb it down for you...your face will have boo-boos on them when I am done with you...then again, maybe you should've had it fixed before..." The first part he said slowly as a taunt. He was ready for an attack, even if it didn't seem like it.

I gasped when Brad grabbed Dralin and threw him on a tree."Dralin!"I screamed and tried to stand up,failing.Brad smirked at me and picked me up like a ragg doll."Well,well,well.What do we have here?The w***e is in love!"He laughed

Dralin grunted as he was threw into the tree and got up. He grinned and said, "That all you got? I've seen better throws from a child!" He was feeling a little dizzy, but he stayed standing.

Brad ignored him and continued"I think I know what to do now.Maybe r****g you in front of him would teach you both a lesson,won't you agree?"He said in a teasing tone.I screamed and tried to kick him but found myself pinned on the ground."Shut it"

Dralin had gotten too angry. He rushed forward in a rage, trying to tackle Brad of of her. He felt as though he could do anything now, and his dizziness was pretty much gone. He didn't yell while he ran out them, but his face made it obvious that he was pretty mad.

Brad pressed my face harder in the dirt as his hand move to get my jeans off but suddenly his weight was gone.I rolled around and panted,trying to catch my breath again before getting up with unsteady legs

Dralin and started to try and pin him down and throw punches at his face. He started to to yell at him, calling him many names. He knew he had to get as many punches in as he could as it would be his best chance at knocking him out. He was so angry, he didn't care who was watching him at this point.

As I watched them,I realized Brad's shock was passing.I had to do something or else Dralin would be dead in a few minutes.I grabbed a piece of wood that was left from when my dad was making a new fence and got close to them quietly.As soon as Brad noticed me,I raised the stick and hit him on the back of his head.The wood broke and Brad fainted.I collapsed next to him and closed my eyes

Dralin stopped and his eyes grew wide when he realized what he was doing. Then he saw Sophie and he scrambled over to her. "Sophie...god, I'm so sorry..." He couldn't talk, and he was barely getting his words out. He looked over at Brad thinking they would need to get him away before he gained consciousness again.

I wrapped my arms around Dralin and sobbed on his chest."Dralin...Oh,Dralin,I was so scared...H-He was drunk...Very d-drunk...I'm so sorry!"I cried and held him tighter

He put her arms around her and pat her on the back and said, "It's alright Sophie...I'm here...and I'll always protect you..." He put his head on her, but kept his eye on Brad to make sure he didn't catch them by surprise.

I looked down and noticed his hands."Dralin...Yo-you are bleeding!"I exclaimed and took his hands in mine."Oh no...No,no,no...Dralin,I'm sorry!"I said and looked up at him with watery eyes,biting my bottom lip

Dralin smiled at her and he said, "Sophie...I'll be fine...we need to get Brad out of here though...don't want him waking up and killing us...that would be bad." He got up and held out his bleeding hand for her to take, still smiling.

I nodded silently and got up,feeling dizzy.I held onto Dralin as we headed over to Brad."Dralin...I can't"I whispered as I leaned against the wall,my face turning pale

Dralin looked at her and said, "I'll come back for you later...I have to deal with Brad..." He started to drag Brad away, by his arms so he could easily put him in a choke hold if he tried to attack him.

I nodded and tried to make my way into the house.As soon as I reached the table,the world started spinning.I fainted and as I fell,I knocked a lit candle with me.It touched the table,which immediately caught fire.

He brought Brad into an alleyway and ran away towards the house. When he got in, he saw the fire, candle and the fainted Sophie. He rushed into a kitchen started going through the cupboards, looking for a pot. He found one, filled it with water, and started to pour it onto the fire before it could spread much further.

I woke up from a splash of water on my face,smelling burnt wood and hair."Dralin?"I called out as I sat up,in the middle of a quickly growing fire."Dralin!HELP!!"I screamed and realized some of my hair were burning too.

Dralin knew he wouldn't be able to stop the fire. He ran for Sophie, picked her up, and barged out of the house. He set her on the ground a safe distance away and started to beat her hair to put the fire out, despite him getting burn marks. He could feel that he had been scorched a lot, but he didn't care. He needed to make sure Sophie was alright before he could worry about himself.

When my hair were finally safe,I hugged him tightly and clutched at his shirt."Gone...Everything...Our home,our lifes...Because of me...."I sobbed and started choking because of the smoke

Dralin hugged her back and he whispered to her, "No Sophie...we do have something...we have each other. And as corny as that might sound, it's true and nothing in the world could matter more to me than you..." He held her with calm arms, trying to get her to relax.

I couldn't help but smile."Yeah,that indeed sounded corny"I said and bit my bottom lip."What are we gonna do now?"

He smiled, but his smile faded a little when she asked what they were gonna do. "To be honest...I have no clue...all I want right now is to be with you though..." He kissed her lightly and put his forehead to hers.

"Cornier than ever"I murmured and looked again at the burning house."All my money were in there"

He laughed and he said, "Hey, I can't help what I mean...as for our money situation...I could ask my mom for some money, maybe she could give me enough to get a small house...that's a huge maybe though. Either way, we'll both need jobs...you still have yours, maybe you could up the price." He looked at her and smiled. "We can pull through this Sophie."
