I nodded. A cave sounds dangerous. I gathered all my gear and looked over at Cedar. "ready? Let's go." I cracked my knuckles and stood, ready to go. I grew weary at the thought of just sitting, but snapped up with fear when I heard the noise in the bush. "What was that?!" I asked. I thought it sounded like a mutt, but I didn't say so. I didn't want to frighten my new ally.

I started to make my way back the way we came. "I havent seen any way to get down this cliff, so we will probably have to go back to the Cornucopia, and then go from there." I explained. Just as I started walking, I heard a noise from the trees around us. I lifted my sword to a defensive position, "What the hell was that?" I asked.

((Hey, so I have to kill Cedar off, sorry. I'm doing the musical at my school and I'm in the ensemble which, oddly enough, means I'm like constantly just there so I'll pretty much have practice every day and I won't have time to be in the Games. I'd just rather let Cedar die on my own terms then have him die of inactivity while simultaneously stressing me out about posting when I'm doing homework. Gaz, can you please kill Cedar somehow? I won't be doing an overly dramatic death post not because he doesn't deserve one, but because it would make me sad to let him die.))

I just found out I'm the lead in my play, but I'm going to try to keep playing for as long as I can.

I lept back as quickly as I could. With a wave of shock, I screamed in anguish. "NO! Cedar!" I knelt by his lifeless body as hot tears rolled down my cheeks. I lept to my feet and blindly shot at the bird. That mutt will suffer. For Cedar, and Zan, and Frill, and Flecks. I turned to Ben. "Do you have a more... Deadly weapon?"

I watched as some bird-mutt flew out of the trees, and attacked Cedar. He was dead before he knew what happened. I was horrified, and tried frantically to bring him back to life. I didnt even notice that another bird-mutt had began attacking Amy. I snapped and drew my sword, charging the district one girl, I slashed hard at her chest, hoping to do some good damage.

I jumped backwards. "What the heck!?" I turned my head around to face Benji. "Dude, not cool." I let my voice drip with fury. "Not cool." I blinked slowly and shook my head. "Now, I know you didnt do that, because if you just did that, I'd have to do this!" I swung my slingshot over my head and hurled a rock at Benji. I smirked. "Oops!" I stepped to a more defendable position of the hill, wondering if this was his plan all along.

Amy parried my attack, and then began to throw stones at me from her sling shot. "Its your fault he is dead, you should have stopped it from attacking." I shouted, almost in tears. I stepped back, trying to avoid the flying rocks, and then artfully dodged through them. I swung my sword again, this time aiming for her legs. If I could just land an attack, I need to avenge the dead of the man who meant the most to me in the last days of my life.

The bird-mutt had come back for another attack. I dropped to the ground hoping to avoid its sharp claws and beak. After quickly getting back up I swiped my sword at the foul beast hoping to do it in for good.
Amy had been able to ward off all my attacks, which shouldnt have surprised me since she was a career. A sense of dread had began to watch over me. My anger had made me act out rashly and now not only would I loose a valuable ally, I very well could also loose my life.
