The Fox Den There's a fork in what seems to be a path... but maybe it was never a path. Maybe it's just the footsteps of some great beast... there's no way to tell. But perhaps it is a beast, because there is what looks to be a rather over-sized fox den a few steps ahead. There's a decapitated horse head on a tree above it, reciting poetry, which isn't exactly inviting, but there's definitely some birdsong noises coming from inside, where a gorgeous golden bird sits in a dirty old cage next to a fancy cage that would suit it much better. The bird is looking longingly at the fancy cage, but continues to sing. This could be a safe place to spend the night.	0	0

The Thickets This is the darkest part of the forest, where the trees grow closest together. Giant, brightly-colored glow-in-the-dark mushrooms that look rather bouncy lead into a section of the forest so dark you'd be blind without the smaller glowing mushrooms, which grow close to the ground and light up as you pass them.	1	45	Into the Woods... Mermaid Lake Well, this is rather curious. It appears to be an awe-inspiring lake, so clear you can see the fish right from the top, and such a vibrant color that it's hard to believe that stuff is water. Out in the middle of the lake is a large black rock, which has something moving on top of it. Is that a- no, that's impossible! And yet, there it is. They're mermaids.
