He glared at his mentor. Something in the thought of killing a child made him sick. Like the idea of leaving his sister to their drunkard of a father. "Your not sweet. Your barbaric. Think killing a child, or a person, is so easy?"he asked. He stood full height and something in his eyes had a certain anger he never experienced. Maybe the years of watching the hunger games had finally gotten into him. "I will not be a puppet."he concluded. He looked at his partner, Vanessa. "You, your okay with this?"he accused her.

Even though he was still angry, he couldn't help but feel pity. It wasn't her fault after all that she got picked. It was no ones fault except the Capitol. "I don't want to have this. he shook his head. He turner to his mentor. "I'll be back later."he decided and began to walk the same hall Vanessa did. Would he comfort her? But he thought it was better to leave her to herself. He crossed the hall and opened the door across Vanessa's. But before he closed it, he gave an assuring tap on her door. "We shall never be part of their games."he concluded and whispered to her door. Then, he walked to his own compartment and closed the door.
