I thought about the different types of stories and realized, what did I have to live for? I mean I told Griffin I'd try to come back but to me that wasn't anything I really wanted to share or I thought was too interesting for it was short. Maybe I could think of something to live for..Perhaps but chances were I'd fail. "I don't have much of those things." I said.

Franklin giggled quietly, "I bet you do kiddie". He would prod her until she let him in to all he wanted to know.

"I'm not a kid, you aren't that old." I pointed out and glared at him. "My life isn't anything to be interested about." I said calmly to my mentor, but it was true. It really wasn't anything to be dazzled by.

Franklin grins. He had some insider info, if there was such a thing. "Oh really, then please tell me how uninteresting your relationship with the boy who visited you in the Justice Building is" he says, daring her to leave, and challenging her to answer.

"That?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "That actually isn't as much as it seems." I say shaking my head. "I was and still a emotionally unstable and he helped me through it and still would be if I wasn't in the games." I said shrugging my shoulders. "See, it's nothing really." I said.

Franklin begins to laugh again. "The way you play off your little puppy love is just so great" he says, again prodding her to spill the beans.

I sighed, "You really are annoying aren't you?" I asked frowning at him. "Look surely the capitol is sick and tired of all these love sick stories anyway..There's the two different groups last year from district ten and district four and no doubt there's going to be some again this year, why do the same old thing? It's basically copying a strategy." I say.

Franklin sits back and crosses his arms, "Alright then, you seem to know how these things work, why don't you just tell me what you think you should do?"

I glared at him, "You're impossible." I grumble. I cross my own arms, "Maybe you should consider how over used the love story is." I said rather angry at him. Of course everyone probably had helpful information from their mentor's while I had this.

"You should know by now I never correctly or fully answer questions." I say with a smirk as I looked over at him. "I refuse to be an open book for the whole capitol to see, absolutely refuse." I say and then my eyes fell upon the table of food again and I got up and found an orange. I hardly saw oranges and it was a miracle when I did. I peeled it and then sat down again.

I slap her across the face. "Wake up girlie! I'm not the Capitol, I'm just the person who needs to know who you are to help you survive!"

When he slapped me it didn't even faze me, didn't do anything to me. I didn't care. "You really think slapping me does anything for me?" I asked. "I don't like telling anyone anything.." I said shaking my head. "I can't-" I cut myself off. I knew who I was..and only I knew. The other who did were gone and dead, those who were alive didn't really know me. "What do you want to know?" I asked quietly picking at my orange.

Franklin's next actions were short and sweet. There was only one word he needed to answer this. He leans forward and stares her directly in the eyes, "Everything"

I bit my lip, of course. Yes, of course it'd be everything he wanted to know but I couldn't tell to him all at once. "Telling you everything will be quite long, there's quite a bit but some of it's harsh." I said trying to think of the different things about my life.

I looked around a bit and ate a piece of my orange and once finished and looked up. "I lived on the seam with my family of five, I was the middle child. Older brother worked in the mines with my father..My brother died in the mines." I said pausing a bit and continued, "I had a best friend that was all about competition, and I didn't mind at first because I just didn't now it bothers me, anyway..Sooner or later my little brother got deathly ill and I had to stay by his side the whole time, I sang to him and everything..and he died in my arms. I lost both my brothers and my parents blamed me partially for not being able to save my little brother." I said and stopped. "There's more just not much more." I said quietly.

Franklin took a moment to consider this. "Well, thats your family, how about your friends?" he asks, "Including your special friend, who you played off as nothing"

"I don't have too much for friends." I said and then thought if I even technically had any friends now. "Well I had a few kids I'd talk to during school but that wasn't much. I had a best friend but after the guy she liked uh..Kissed me she thought I was the one who did it and she insulted my life style of being on the seam and basically that was the end of that she does know none of it was my fault and I did get an apology not that it matters, as for the guy.." I trailed off and looked down, did I have to?

"Do I have to?" I asked looking at my mentor. "You already know most of it." I said sighing. I didn't want to talk about Griffin..Not at all because that would only remind me that he wanted me to win and come back and I wasn't confident enough to go back.

When he asked the question it actually shocked me. Did I want to come back in a box or alive? I mean alive was always better than being dead but coming back to Griffin..Coming back in a box would mean I failed..It'd mean I let him down and I couldn't do that..Could I? No.. No I couldn't, I had to come back alive. "I suppose I rather come back to him alive." I said.

"Exactly dearie" he says. Franklin was amazed she had any sense in her at all, after all the problems she'd already caused. "Now why have you done so much to keep things from me when I am here to help you?"

"I don't like telling people things because that makes me grow attached to them.. and last time I grew attached both of them died.. That's why I try hard not to have much for friends or anything." I say honestly.
