Genevieve wandered through the Capitol train aimlessly. She had absolutely no idea where she was going, and there didn't seem to be anyone around. She had no idea where her mentor was supposed to be, and her the male District 8 tribute didn't want anything to do with her. It looked like h had already gone inot Arena mode. There didn't even seem to be any Capitol attendants around. That was very strange. Genevieve sighed and opened a door, expecting another long corridor. Honestly, they seemed specifically designed to be as confusing as possible. She was very lost at the moment.

To Genevieve's surprise she found that the dining area was beyond the door. This was a good place to be. Everybody had to come here at one point in time. She might even find her mentor. Genevieve wanted to get on good terms with them before they got to the Capitol. Otherwise things could be diffficult. Genevieve poured herself a cup of some sweet smelling liquid and sat down at the table. She warmed her hands on the cup and looked around. So far no one was here. But at that very moment the door slid open...

I slide open the door to the train and step in. My third year as a mentor, yet I'm only 19. I sigh. Then I see a girl, and I assume she is one of my tributes. "Are you a tribute or just a random girl standing here?" I ask. Then I slip IMO a slick little chair and snack on what seems to be a chocolate filled pastry. Maybe my tributes won't die this year. Hopefully. I sit and wait for the girl's response."

Genevieve glance up as a guy walked in. He looked roughly nineteen. And he looked a bit familiar. Where had she seen him before? Genevieve frowned slightly as she tried to remember. And her concentration paid off. He had been a tribute in ine if the Games, and he had won. So he must be her mentor. She smiled slightly at his question. "I'm a tribute, and I'm assuming your my mentor." she replied. Genevieve took a sip of her drink and waited for his reply.

"Ding ding ding." I say and lean against one of the counters. "You got it. Say.... Maybe you will be smarter than some of the other tributes I've seen if ou figured that out." I say sarcastically. "So, I'm your mentor. My name's Mitchell Pearce, I won the games a few years ago."

Genevieve frowned slightly at his sarcasm. She didn't like sarcasm. It was basically a way to make fun of someone while trying to be funny. It also annoyed her. She rolled her eyes just for good measure. "I know who you are. I'm Genevieve, Genevieve Smith." she said. Genevieve took another sip of her drink. It was strangely addicting.

"Can I call you Gege? I'm gonna call you Gege." I turn to her. "My job is to mentor you and give you advice that'll keep you alive. I don't want another one of my tributes to die, but I know that at least one of you has to. And the boy, he seems hopeless. So I'm going to spend a lot of time and energy on you. Got it?"
