District 10 Train

Rachel wasn’t sad about being on train going to the Hunger Games. Actually she was happy. She didn’t mind the fact she was heading into an arena where kids killed kids. What did she have to lose? The only problem would be getting sponsors. Who would sponsor an insane thirteen year old girl?

She was already forming a plan smirking while doing so. She may be thirteen and possible crazy but she was intelligent. She wasn’t even in it to win; she was in it because she wants to feel something. All she has to do is give the Capitol so depressed story about how her whole family is dead and everyone in her District won’t talk to her. She had her own plan for the Arena.

She wonder's if she even has a mentor. Who is her District partner? She hadn't paid attention.

Rachel turned her head to see a woman sitting there. She had totally missed another person in the food cart. She just shrugged; she typically didn’t pay attention to people. People ignored her so she ignored me.

“All I’ve done most of my life is starve. It isn’t going to be a big deal for me,” said Rachel looking rather distant at the food. She saw glass silverware and starred into it looking at the image starring back at her. She turned her head; she looked nothing like what she had a year ago. She wasn’t the same person she was a year ago then. Her blue eyes seemed so dead and her hair was all knotted.
