Sky walks into the train, the first car being the dining car. He looks around, and sees he's the first one on the train.
Sky sighs, and goes to sit down, he looks and sees some bottles, probably alcohol. Instead, he pours himself some juice, that tastes like orange.
"Yay...this will be so much fun..."
He puts the glass down, and rests his head on his hand.

Jarrod walks in and sits down, eyeing the present tribute. He seemed fit enough, but was he tough? "Whats your name?" he asks, not moving.

Sky glances over at the man, probably his mentor. "Sky." He tells him, sitting up in his chair.
"Mentor?" Sky asks, knowing that he may or may not listen to what his mentor has to say.

I grin for a moment, but it quickly disappears. "Yep." I say, "Get weapons and get the hell out" I say simply, that was always the best advice for the first bit. "Questions so far?" I ask, to see the outcome.

Sky shrugs. "Seems pretty self explanatory." He tells him, forming an idea in his head.
"What about food? Last year, I saw some food at the Cornucopia; should I grab some of it, too?" Sky asked, knowing that it could always be hard to find food. He didn't know what the arena was, and for all he knew it could be hard to gain food.

"Of course you grab food" I say, slightly annoyed that it wasn't obvious. Food was essential to survival.

Sky nodded, and he looks out the window.
"What about afterwords? I grab the supplies, and run. Find a water source, probably. Find shelter. But, how do I win?"
After watching the Hunger Games for thirteen years, Sky pretty much knew what to do. But, everyone's winning-strategy was different. Sometimes they hid, other times they went on killing spree's. Sky had enjoyed observing the tactics, but he was never sure which one's he could, or should use.

I sigh, this was the tough part, they always wanted to know how they could win, but that was up in the air, it was impossible to know how they could win until that tribute is in the arena. "Everyone has their ways, just take advantage of the Arena and trust your instincts. The path to victory will come to you, how you cross the path is all yours"

Sky nodded, understanding. Everyone from the hunger games in the past had one differently, and it was up to him to choose how he wanted to win.
"Thanks for the tips." Sky said, looking out the window again. Sky knew that they'd be coming to the capitol soon, in an hour or so.
"I don't mean to be asking so many questions but," Sky glances back over to his mentor. "But how many days do you think I'll last in the arena?"
Sky didn't want to sugar-coat anything for himself. He didn't expect himself to win. Sky wasn't the most active. He was more of a thinker.

I lean forward, "You will live as long as you feel like living" I say in a slightly more gentle tone. As I lean back my usual personality comes through, "And why the hell are you saying sorry for asking questions, thats what you are supposed to do!"

Sky shrugs. "I don't want to be like the other tributes and bombard their mentors with questions. Seems that it'd be pretty annoying, if you ask me." Sky stands up, and stretches his arms, getting tired of sitting down. He goes over, and grabs a roll, before leaning up against the wall.
"How long you been doing this? Doesn't it get... depressing?"

Jarrod shrugs off the question. "I just try not to think about it" he says. "I mentor every second year for about ten years now" he adds, to answer part of Sky's question.

So that means he didn't mentor my brother. Maybe I'll actually have a chance to win. Sky thought to himself, smiling.
"Thanks." He tells his mentor. Whether he knew it or not, his mentor actually had given him a boost of confidence.
