Silver reacted fast. She had kinda been expecting this. Everything was just too quiet and Silver's luck in these games had been terrible. She had just finished tieing up her blanket bag, so the supplies were safe. Silver grabbed her sword and swung at a wolf as it attacked Flint.

I was going to protest, the fire was obviously not to be trusted. The growling stopped me, and I instantly knew mutts were coming. They appeared before I could shout a warning and came right at me. I took out my second sword quickly and used to to attempt to block one of the Mutts, and swung my sword at the second. I felt pain as the third bit into my thigh.

Just as I was about to comment on something was when some wolves had come up, I knew something like this would happen but I was still startled when they came up, maybe they'd attack me last, I was the smallest and had less meat on my body than the others, sometimes it paid off not to be a career like them. I grabbed my bow and took and arrow out and loaded my bow. I lifted it up and aimed at one of the wolves hoping to hit one.

Out of nowhere, gigantic wolves appeared. They started lunging at Flint, mercilessly. They were obviously mutated by the Capitol, because they kept lunging at Flint, all at the same time. I dropped everything but my sword and jumped away from them. Then I attacked one from the back, hoping to kill.

I jump back to the side of the drawbridge as the wolves lunge again. I know I can't stop them all, but one will do. I once again swing my sword ruthlessly at one of the mutts, not the one I'd already hit. I use my other sword to try and deflect another attacker. I quickly jump into the Moat while I do this, hoping the water would help. I slip one of my swords away once I'm underwater, and take out something from my first aid kit.

I suppose we needed some entertainment for the games and this was one way the gamemakers thought would be fun. I grab another arrow, I'd have to go back and pick them up when the fight was done, I only had seventeen and now if I shot this one I'd be left with sixteen. I loaded my bow again and took aim at one of the wolves hoping to hit it this time.

Suddenly Flint jumped into the moat. I hoped the wolves wouldn't go for one of us instead. Luckily, it didn't. But, it did go for Flint. I jumped into the moat after it. Sword in hand, I lunged at it. I attacked it with all my energy.

I watched the rest of it play out, it was going fairly fast in this case. Next thing I knew Flint, Esther, and a wolf was in the moat and I figured that staying up on land would be best. First I went to retrieve my arrows and put the two of them back in my quiver. I pulled out one and loaded it again about to attack the wolf when I noticed that Esther had it. I kept my bow ready in case but I relaxed a bit. "Are you guys okay?" I asked. "Do I need to shoot?" I wasn't sure what was all happening, I wasn't in the water so it was harder to tell

I pulled myself out of the moat and slowly got up, favouring my left leg. The wolves had gotten the other one good. I looked down at the torn and bloody skin of my right left. "I could use some help putting my leg back together" I say, forcing a smile and holding up the bandages I'd gotten out of the first aid kit. "Who wants to give it a shot?" I ask, looking for a volunteer.

I watched the wolf die after I attacked it. I crawled out of the moat and laid down on the ground, shivering. I panted, soaked in water and some blood. Luckily, the blood wasn't mine. It was the wolf's... or Flint's. I wasn't sure. Either way, Flint was injured badly. "I will." I muttered. I grabbed the first aid kit and attempted to heal Flint.

When I noticed Esther try and heal Flint after he got back on the land I sighed, she hadn't done too much for him. I came over and started to kneel down as I looked through the medical kit. Maybe I could manage to help him out a bit more than Esther did. After I found some things I decided to try and heal me.

I sigh and check my bandages. They looked good. I tested my leg and felt it was alright for walking. "Thanks guys" I tell them. I knew Esther had gotten the last mutt as well. I owed them both. Not to put down Silver, who had kept watch for other tributes during the attack. I look up at the huge smoke cloud, "I guess the castle is out of the question for now" I say, wondering how that small fire turned into this.

Silver watched as first Esther then Estrella healed Flint. He looked much better at the end of it. Silver stared up at the billowing black smoke. "I'm pretty sure that's not natural. It looks Gamemaker made to me." she said. That could be statin the obvious, but oh well. "And I'm pretty sure we don't want to go near it." she added. These games were getting pretty dangerous. Crazy wolf mutts, out if control fires. Plus a crumbling castle to top it all off.
