Brief History: Both of her parents died when a fishing vessel sank and everyone on board died. Her twin brother is headstrong and irrational. Reed did, however, quit school and go to work early to provide for her and Lily. Her younger sister is sickly and blind due to scarlet fever that she had when she was two. Rose herself has always been determined and sharp tongued.
Physical Appearance: Medium height with a slight build. She has aqua colored eyes and wavy honey blonde hair. She has freckles and full lips and she always looks a million miles away when she's thinking really hard.
Personality: Sharp tongued and highly opinionated. She is determined that Lily will never have to work when she gets older and she tries her best to keep Reed out of jail, which is not an easy task. She sews, mends, and bakes for towns people to help earn money and she also does odd jobs around town. She does it so the family will have enough to eat, but she hates leaving Lily home alone all day. Although she has had a rough time, she has a secret love of poetry.
Flaw: She can forget what she is doing when she gets too angry and she'll say or do something that she later regrets or gets in trouble for. She can also be really irritable and she's easily provoked.

Brief History: Both of his parents died in a boating accident. His twin sister, Rose, is sharp tongued and easily angered. He quit school early so he could provide for Rose and Lily. He doesn't like Lily much and he has a on and off relationship with Rose, but they try to get along so they won't starve.
Physical Appearance: Shaggy black hair and green eyes. He is very small for his age but he has a solid build and is strong from long days at sea. He has tan skin and a round face. He usually looks like he wants to kill the next person who walks by.
Personality: Headstrong and easily angered. He is also prone to fighting. He usually only fights when someone threatens his family, but he is too prideful to tell Rose that so she thinks he is just stupid. He likes to sit on the beach and watch the waves when he's upset. That is the only time he grieves for his parents, when he is alone.
Flaw: Acts with out thinking and is prone to fighting.

Talents: He is a hard worker and a skilled fisherman. He is also an exceptional artist, he draws in the sand on the beach.
