Brief History: Well... Looking at the step-parents Nate's had, it looks like only about 20% of his dad's are still alive. His mom and his dad weren't married when Ken was drafted into the Hunger games. No real surprise he died. about 8 months later, Nate came into existence. When Nate was 5, his mom remarried, and a few months later, he had his first younger sister. Then Geoff died in an accident in the slaughter house. Next was James. He was a tall handsome man, with a nice amount of money. Klair was born the same day James died of sickness. Then John came along. He was Nathan's least favorite step-dad. He was cruel, abusive, and almost always smelled of alcohol. The only good that came out of John living with them was Madison. Everyone he was related to (even his father), their name started with a K. He felt like the outcast until Madison was there. Before Madison was born, Nate wanted to rejoice, because John was gored by a bull. Madison was born and become Nate's treasure. And here 6 years later, he has another step-dad. This one wasn't as evil as the last one, but Nathan was getting old enough to realize these men weren't his fathers even though the tried to be. The were all outsiders in his house. And even though Matthew is bringing a steady income, (enough to feed the family) Nate trades in the black market almost constantly
Physical Appearance:Well, were to start? He has short sun bleached brown hair, green eyes with flakes of blue in them, and dark skin littered with scars (given to him by the peacekeepers and John). He's around 5 1/2 feet tall, weighing around 120lbs. He has a rather large build, and is rather large in the shoulders and biceps. His endurance is low, so he's a better sprinter then a distance runner.
Personality: Nate is a loud person personality speaking. If he has a thought, he will share. He's rather brave, but the thought of entering the hunger games scare him. He sees himself as a leader, and is extremely loyal to the ones he loves. It's a bit hard to get to know him, since he tries to hid his emotions under layers of concrete, but once you get there, you may or may not like what you find. He'd a bit temperamental, and what didn't bug him one day drives him nuts the other.
Flaw: He's loyal to those who he wants to be, he's temperamental, and very very prideful.
Pets: A Draft Horse named Scarlet. She was given to him by James when she was a foal. She was named after the color of the blood that seemed to always flow in Panem.
Rich or Poor?: Both-ish.
Weapon of Choice: He prefers a sword, but always carries a knife with him
Talents: He's rather strong and has picked up a bit of unarmed combat from the fights he's had a school, and he's good with animals, exceptionally well horses.

Brief History: Katie has had a few fathers just like her dead brother. She too hated Jon and rejoiced the day he died. Long story short her brother was reaped for the games. She was sure he could make it home. He was strong, and smart, and would put a career six feet under... She was wrong. Her brother was smashed against the wall by a wall of water. She's still a bit traumatized by watching this.
Physical Appearance: Katie has long brown hair and eyes to match. Her skin would be completely tanned if not for the abusive step dad. Unlike her brother she stands only about 4'8" and couldn't weigh more then 60 lbs. She's a light build and is very petite.
Personality: She's a nice girl if you can ever catch her. She tries to hid from everyone now. She's still upset and depressed by the death of her brother. She's a little bit shy but still hangs out with her group of friends. She's a bit of a pacifist but she's strong-willed, hard headed, and intent on revenge of those she hates. She suffers from insomnia now-a-days.
Flaw: Her size is a bit of a disadvantage, as well as the insomnia. Her pacifism isn't great either.

Talents: Speed, her ability to hide, and cutting precision.

Brief History: Somewhere along the line of life for James and Sarah, they happened to become proud parents of twins. Sarah Washington sadly only lived for 6 more years. He was stung multiply times by tracker jackers in the field. The loss of their mother was devastating to the fraternal twins Shawn and Rachel. Apparently their father took it hard as well, cause 6 months later, James was killed for violence. The two kids were sent to the adoption home to gain new parents. It didn't take long for the cute young Rachel to be adopted, but for Shawn it was a bit harder. He was devastated to loose the only family he had left, but he powered on. There was work to be done. 10 years later and he still has no hope for adoption.
Physical Appearance: Shawn has long blond hair, brown eyes, and dark skin from the years in the fields. He has a fairly average build. He's 5'11 and 104lbs. He has a scars across his arms and backs from countless peacekeepers whipping him. From the lack of food it's rather easy to count his ribs. Everyone tells him that he looks just like his father. It's easy for everyone to remember what James looked like after he was hung for murder.
Personality: Shawn is a bit on the wild side. He wants things done his way when he wants it done. If he feels like someone is leading wrong he'll relieve them of duty, even if it doesn't affect him. The only time he doesn't want power is when it hits the fan, or when it gets boring. People tend to be slightly afraid of him because of what his dad did, but the reality is that he wouldn't want to hurt a fly. He's a kinda strict vegetarian but he'll eat meat to survive.
Flaw: Sever gentleness, and being a vegetarian.
Pets: A muttation breed dog used for sniffing out tracker jacker nests

Weapon of Choice:Halberd
Talents: He's good at tracking and climbing trees (even though his size limits him) He's also isn't afraid to use his muscle to his advantage when need be.
Other: After his mothers death, he's taken it upon himself to remove tracker jacker nest in his free time.

Brief History: Sam was born into a family without much hope for affection. His mother left him on Jesse's door step on the tenth of December, without one clue of what would become of him. Jessee might've been a selfish man, but he wasn't without heart. Jesse took the child in as his own. Sam hasn't gone without food our water for more then one night, and is grateful for it. Jesse's work takes up a large portion of his work, and often neglects Sam. Because of that, Sam has picked up something else to love. His camera. Every now and then he takes his anger towards his father and focuses it on his dad's business by short circuiting the machines.
Physical Appearance: Sam has hair matches the old oak leaves outside the fence. His eyes are a deep green, and they haven't shown a sign of changing their color. His skin is rather pale compared to what it could be, but he still considers it dark for his district. You'll often find him wearing a pair of jeans, a white tee shirt, and an unbuttoned sports jacket. The only thing that's a 100% certain you'll find him with is a camera.
Personality: Sam is a neglected child. His mother is somewhere no one knows, his dad works day and night, and is two prized possessions (Cassius and his camera) don't exactly talk, so needless to say, anything or anyone he can put affection in or get affection out of, he's there. He's not quite as spoiled as one might think, but he's not the most humble of them all. His stubbornness and pride get in his way quite a bit, and he almost despises being leader. Since his mother left him he's pretty convinced something's wrong with him, or he's just flat out cursed. He's rather superstitious about his own things, but things that society calls bad luck, he laughs at. A list of some things he's superstitious about is wearing a bracelet on Saturday, lighting your candles before dark, wearing red socks, drawing a weapon inside a house, etc. etc.
Flaw: He's extremely forgiving and trusting.
Pets: A Coyote named Cassius.
Rich or Poor?: Filthy Rich.
Weapon of Choice: He prefers anything technology based, but will do fine with melee weapon.
Talents:He's a very good photographer, he has a very keen since of direction, and is a good negotiator.
