Paris frowned as Jesse snapped at her, simply rolling her eyes at him. He didn't it. Rune and her were doing just as much to stop the water as he was. Looking as Rune shot at the target as well, she grinned. Hopefully it wasn't much longer before David died for real. The tribute had been driven towards this goal of blood lust since he had evaded his death a few hours previously. Narrowing her eyes at him, she tried to block his coming attack before returning a hit.

Paris smiled shortly after her strike, seeing that Jesse was now helping. "Yay!" she chirped brightly. Watching others throw hits at the tribute gave her a quick sense of glee before the moment was over, and the canon sounded. That was two. They could get out! "They should let us out now; that was the deal," she muttered, looking questioningly at the walls of the well.

David died with the first hit, it seemed. Mine was wasted. Sighing, I settled back a bit. The water seemed to be still coming in, or maybe it was my imagination. I look at Paris, she was expecting us to get out. "Yea, we should, in a trustworthy world," I say, shrugging my shoulders, "But this is the Hunger Games. And they are the Gamemakers. The odds of that being truthful are slim to none." I shrug again. Looking around the walls, the source is still unable to be found.

Four arrows left. After the cannon went off, Rune trudged through the flooded well, looking for her arrows that'd missed. "A deal's a deal, whether they're trustworthy or not." she muttered. "We, fought, so we should get out. Obviously we're a good team, they outta set us on the rest of the tributes, right?"

Water quickly began to flood the area. It slowly lifted the tributes up, but it could be dangerous.

I shake my head. "The water's not stopping anytime soon. That means one thing," I begin, looking at the two females, "We didn't do what we needed to do." I draw my sword and look at Rune. "A Twelve made it to the finals last time, and shoulda won. I'm sorry Rune, but I'd like to get out of here," I say. I swing my sword at Rune, hoping that Paris would join me so that we can both get out.

Paris felt the water surge in, allowing them to float upwards. She hoped it would bring them to the surface, and would've been patient, as her limbs were sore and her mind alert, but a voice from one of the tributes woke her from her thoughts. Jesse was doing to attack one of them. She was immediately on guard, until she heard the mention of twelve. Her district. He didn't want her dead. Looking over at Rune, she almost felt bad. Rune hadn't done anything except help her, she didn't deserve to die. "Stop it, you need to survive, remember?" her mind chastised her. Blinking, she brought herself back to the task at hand, attacking Rune. She tightened her grip on her sword before taing a slice at the girl from eight.

Rune was laughing, the water rising up and up around her. But that wasn't her only problem. "Jess...you're really mean, you know that?" Then she giggled again, putting up her shield. She ducked away from the girl, then plowed the shield into Jesse.

Paris didn't understand why the girl was laughing. Laughing, of all things? She wouldn't have ever guessed to meet such confusing people in the Games. Sure, the teenager wasn't exactly the most understood of people either, but she didn't laugh when being attacked. "It's the Hunger Games, obviously it's gonna be mean," she responded dully. Raising her sword again, she took another stab at Rune.

I chuckle at Rune's comment. "Come on now, kiddo. This is the Games, they want some entertainment," I say with a wink. The water must have thrown her ram off a bit, because I'm still standing fine. "Come one now, Rune. Paris and I need to get out of here, so stop fighting it," I say, bringing my sword down at her again.

Rune shook herself to get her balance back, ducking away from Paris as she did so. "Never said it was a bad thing. Actually, I like mean people," she flashed him a smile, throwing up her shield to protect herself. Then she rotated, slamming it towards Paris.
