Paris watched as all of them tried and failed to get hits on one another. They must all be getting tired. She was ready to strike back at the girl, but water splashed in her face, making Paris cough. After gathering herself again, she stabbed a Rune, hoping the fight would be over sooner than later. She knew that none of them could put up with this much longer.

I laugh at Rune once more. "What says I'm falling apart?" I say as she misses another attack. As I say that, the platform lurches to a halt, and I'm caught getting water into my lungs. Coughing and sputtering, I attempt to get a foothold again. The water, thankfully, was back at my knees. Looking at Rune, she seemed to be just fine. "You seriously need to die," I say, glaring at her. Lunging forward, I attempt, once more, to land a hit on her to kill her.

"That," She nods toward Jesse as a wave crashes down on his head. "Oh, don't be so eager," Rune continued as she twisted away from their blades. But as she swiveled to ram at Paris again, her sides nearly gave out. The tribute barely managed to follow through with her shield attack before she slipped, falling face-first into the water.

Rune tried to get back on her feet, but all she could manage was to roll over, floating on the surface as the water around her turned red. A smile crossed her face. "Thanks, Jess~ and... whatever your name is," She coughed a bit as water filled her mouth. Oh well, maybe drowning was better. "I'll see you both soon, anyway." And Elem. She'd see Elem real soon, wouldn't she? That was a good enough thought to close her eyes to. Close her eyes and smile, and drift off into oblivion.

Well, Rune, I knew this was coming. You knew this was coming. You served your purpose, kind of, so I'm proud of you. And a bit sorry we never clicked. But, you know that stuff happens.

Rune's canon went off, booming across the arena. The tributes could now escape the well and return to the town by climbing out.

Paris glanced hesitantly at the water as she tried to space herself away from Rune. The gamemakers could easily make the water spin and drown the remaining tributes if they wanted, and she wished to be ready if that happened. The hit that Jesse was about to land on Rune looked good, and she hoped that it landed in an ideal location that could end the district eight girl's life. Hearing a splash, Paris' eyes snapped up to see the girl's body floating face first in the crimson water. A smile began painting itself on her face as she looked over at Jesse. "We did it! Now, let's get out of this hell hole, yeah?" she asked brightly, crawling back out towards the sunlight.

I smile as Rune falls to her death. Not so much that I did it, but because we could get out. I turn to face Paris, a smile plastered on my face, and almost hug her. But I stop myself. Laughing a bit, I nod. "That was the plan, wasn't it?" I say. Reaching up, I grab the wall and begin crawling to the light, which seemed to be dulling out now. "We may as well stick together once we are out of this. Sound good?" I ask as we climb out.

The town looked eerily silent around them. Nobody was there, and a tumbleweed rolled by. The tributes felt uneasy, though. Something was definitely off.

Paris brushed off her clothing once she exited the hole, setting her sword down for a moment. She heard Jesse's request, and thought about it for a moment. Could she really trust him? Did she need to trust him? A smile worked its way onto her face as she nodded, picking up her weapon. "Of course," the tribute agreed. Glancing out at the town, she crossed her arms. Something wasn't right. "We need to move," Paris suggested, walking around in hopes of finding a way out, or somewhere to go.

I stare around the town, the silence slightly unbearable. A smile creeps across my face... for once I had someone on my side in the Games. Placing the point of my sword onto the ground, I nod at Paris. "Definitely... but where?" I ask, looking around. Lifting my sword back up, I point in a direction. "Guess we better begin our walk," I say, taking a step ahead in the direction I had pointed.

Paris scanned the perimeter, following Jesse until they reached a gate. The forest was difficult to see through, with it being so dense and dark. She hadn't gotten out of the town throughout the games though, and would be more than excited to explore, if it was wise. Maybe if she looked hard enough she could see any potential dangers lurking in the shadows? She doubted it, but it was worth a shot. "See anything?" Paris asked, her lips locked in a half frown. "I don't want to run into another trap," she added, sighing heavily.

Staring into the forest, I shrug. "Just a bunch as trees as far as I can tell," I say, taking a step back. "But that don't mean much of anything..." I take a step back from the fence and scratch my arm. "Unless there is a trap, there's no harm in going out and trying to get the other tributes," I suggest. Reaching intno my pocket, I fiddle with the key I found, and wonder what that fairy meant back in the well. "Nothing of importance," I think to myself, "Especially with the fairy gone."

They could see a flood of water through the trees that was rushing towards them. The water appeared to be carrying another tribute, but they couldn't make out who it was just yet.

Paris' eyes widened as she saw water coming rushing towards them. Was the city flooding? Shit. She turned francitcally to Jesse, saying nothing, but freaking out. She looked for something to climb on, but that was before she saw another tribute. "Someone looks lost," she said with mock kindness. Her lips curled into a girl as she tried to land a single hit on the tribute. After that she backed up in hope of avoiding the water's wrath. The last thing she wanted to do was drown.

I note the water rushing towards us, but not much more. Taking a few steps back, I attempted to get out of range of the water, with my eyes locked in its direction. Paris stayed a bit closer, apparently noticing something. "Paris..." I started softly, but stopped suddenly when she lashed out against something. Looking where she attacked, I saw a bit of body, but not much. Moving in closer, I attempt to strike the same place she did, but was unsure of the likelihood with the water.

"Guys wait! I just washed up here i have no come to fight. I would like peace and revenge on Oceania. She has gone crazy in her head and i need help to kill her put her at rest. This fighting is destroying her. It has done the same to Zeke to." Victoria said very sadly. "I'm trying to help them. I can't do it alone would you please stop fighting. I promise if we kill them i will let you kill me." Victoria tried to reason withz the other tributes. She was not sure if this was going to work because she could see fear and hate in the two tributes eyes. Victoria said softly. "If you don't wish to help me i understand, but if you kill me please just do it quick i want to get out of this nightmare of a world. I just don't want anyone to die in vain." Victoria took a deep breath ready to accept any faith that the gamemakers have in store for her. If she dies today she knows that she will die with a smile on her face and looking up at the sky.

If Paris had been a kinder soul, she would've listened to what the other tribute had to say. But she was far from nice, and way to caught up in her bloodlust to care what the girl intended. Something about peace and revenge? How cute. While the girl's intentuons were probably pure, the twisted teenager didn't care. "That's very sweet of you, but we have better things to do than fix people," Paris stated flatly. With a sadistic smirk on her face, she took another hack at the girl.
