| Solstice headed straight for the Ranged Weapons station. Quickly scanning the available weapons, she selected a throwing axe. This kind of weapon isn't only exclusive the tributes of District 7. She examined the weapon in her hands. It had a dull blade and a worn grip. "Not too bad," she said to herself, tossing the axe gently from hand to hand. She glanced up at a target and moved herself into a comfortable stance. The black target was approximately six feet tall. It was marked at vital areas, such as the heart and brain. Solstice carefully aimed and chucked the axe at the target. It landed next to the heart. "Not close enough," she muttered, frustrated. If the target had been a human being, he/she could have escaped it. They might have a limb chopped off, but they would probably survive. Solstice's goal is to not ever let a tribute escape. She can't let them have a chance to live. She couldn't practice as well at home. She'd go to the training center at night, when it was emptier. It was hard to see the targets in the dark. The building had lights, but Solstice preferred to keep them off. After all, that's what it would be like in the Hunger Games. She picked up another axe. | |

| Arisu hummed her way through the training room. After they were briefed they were free to go wherever they wanted to go, even not train! But there are so many fun games here, it's like a carnival full of games! Except well, there isn't really any prize. But it'll still be fun! She looked around at all the different stations and saw this girl throwing an axe at dummies. That definitely looked like a lot of fun and she made her way there. Arisu greeted the people in charge and they asked her what did she want to try a hand at. Looking at all the weapons, she glanced to the knives and pointed to it excitedly. They gave her the basics on how to hold it and swing it and off she went to try it out as they watched her. "Thank you!" she said as she waved a couple of knives to them. She stood beside a young girl and aimed a knife at the target. Biting her tongue and aiming, she tossed it, and it flew all over the place. Arisu laughed as she went to pick it up. The trainer went up to her, shaking his head as he showed her the right posture and arm throw again. As she made her way back, she hesitated and turned ot the young girl, "Hi there! What's your name?" She settled the knives down beside her and tried to swing it towards the target again, with a better way of swinging her arm. | |

| Solstice turned towards a new voice. "Hi there! What's your name?" Solstice smiled at the tribute who greeted her. "Hello. I'm Solstice. What is your name?" she replied, taking another throwing axe. Her arm instinctively shot forward and launched the weapon. It pierced a target's shoulder. "She's a nice person. However, I can not allow her to get too close... If it comes down the to the two of us in the Games..." she thought reluctantly while attempting to tug the axe out of the board. It didn't move. Once more, Solstice tried to pull out the axe. Nope. She glanced over at the newcomer again as her cheeks flushed. | |

| David had been thinking about the stations and what people he'd want for allies, and he decided that he'd need to find them both at the same time. He had been waiting for training, it'd be a good time to act that he was weak and trick some people. He saw a station that included someone that seemed really perky, and a career that was younger then him. He walked up to the station and watched them a bit, he saw the perkiness of the girl from what seemed to be an 11 on her training suit and the career seemed to not trust the girl at ALL. It seemed to be all kinds of crazy/weird. What the hell..? The boy had thought to himself, these tributes are going to be entertaining this year. David lost all thoughts for a second, he had to get his acting face on.
The teenager grabbed the axe, he raised his eyebrows in a way that said 'should I do this..?'. David took a nervous step and threw the axe in the most sad way it had to make himself laugh, the boy looked at where it had landed-- nowhere. It was laying on the ground in front of him. David laughed to himself, he probably seemed really bubbly to people (which was true) and would be easy to kill. The boy threw another axe, not paying attention that he was actually trying it hit close to the temple. David said out loud "Lucky shot?" and threw again without trying and looking like he was worried about making a fool of himself. It hit the foot, David shook his head and set his axe down. "Hey, I'm David. What's your name?" David asked the two girls at the station, he wanted to learn some things about his fellow allies/enemies. | |

| Arisu was about to shoot off another knife when she notice Solstice go up and pull at the axe. She grinned and waited, "Need help with that? Give it a good pull, it should come off." She balanced on her heels, looking if she really needed a hand. On her left came another axe slipping onto the floor. She turned to see a boy, from 3 as his sleeves say, picking back the axe quickly. "Guess we're on the same boat," Arisu stuck her tongue out sheepishly, but she watched him throw the next. And she knew. His next axe flopped right at the feet of the dummy. She glanced back to him in her usual self when he introduced himself as David. "Ahh I'm Arisu! But most people back home just call me Alice. Nice to meet you!" She hopped back to a stance to throw a second round. She bit her lip and aimed once more. Thud, it stuck itself into the shoulder of the dummy. "Same boat, lucky shot," She shifted her eyes to David and gave him a slow, small smile, different from her usual, before flipping back to Solstice, plastered with her usual happiness, "So! How is it like in District 2? Do the training rooms really smell as bad as they say it does?" Arisu didn't like liars. But he wasn't a liar yet. And that intrigued her as she kept an eye out. It's a game, but making some friends is always more fun than playing alone! | |

| Solstice took Alice's advice. Kind of. She was only partially listening. Glaring at the axe, she clenched her fists and slammed her hand into the board. The axe slipped off. Then she acknowledged the other two. "Hello, I'm Solstice," she replied to David. "And the training centers don't smell too bad. As long as none of the others sweat too much," she grinned, turning towards District 11's tribute. She began to analyze (for lack of a better word) the other tributes. Arisu. Also known as Alice. Black hair, dark eyes. Bubbly. Decent aim. Possible ally. David. Brown hair, green/blue eyes. Appears laid back. Lucky shots. Possible ally. Solstice looked at the weapons strewn around the targets. "What kind of weapons are you two interested in?" she asked curiously. | |

| Icarus finished with the medical training and looked around. He saw Alice over by the ranged station, and made his way to join her. "Hey Alice, how are you?" He asked. Icarus looked over the weapons on the rack, and picked up a set of throwing knives. He aimed at the target on the wall, and let his knife fly. He watched as the knife hit the target, not too far from the bullseye. | |

| *edit the text a little bit* David started to think about training a bit while listening to the two girls, the one from 11 was named Arisu and the career was named Solstice, he thought that it was kind of like a summer camp. The games and all, it could teach you new things that you never knew or maybe make friends that you could remember for the rest of your life if you won. "You know, the games are kind of like summer camp. You make new friends that even if they die, you'll remember them for the rest of your life for maybe even throwing a cup at an instructor. Who knows? You can also learn things that you have never even knew before, like how important it could actually be to make a fire, or to be greatful that you haven't been reaped instead of teasing those who have been reaped to most probably die." David said outloud, he saw the newcomer and waved silently to the boy. It looked like from the sleeve it was Arisu/Alice's district partner. The teenager grabbed a bow, he had never tried one and thought he might want to try it. "Um, Excuse me? How do you use this thing?" David asked for real, this time he didn't know how to use one so hopefully he'd learn quickly. David wondered what it'd be like to win the games, the fame and fortune. Probably you'd get to be an ass quite a bit, and have fun mentoring your tributes. David shot an arrow, after learning some things from the instructor and hit the leg. He continued practicing with a bow, seeing if he'd like it. Eventually, by this time he was bored with the station and left. | |
