| Sage Traport Sage wasn't sure how she felt about being a mentor. Some games, she figured her advice would be next to worthless to the tributes that she tried to help. Maybe this year would be different. She could connect with this one, and figure out how she could make him or her a winner. The victor often blamed herself for the death of district six's tributes, and wished she could do more. Sage hasn't yet understood that once they enter the arena, she could only do so much.
Flicking a strand of red hair out of her face, the woman sipped at her Shirley Temple slowly. She hoped that her tribute would show themselves soon enough so she could speak with them. As much as she didn't want to get attached, she also wanted to help as much as she could. That was her job, in a sense. Even if she didn't consider herself a talented victor, or a worthy one, she had to try her best to pretend she was.

| Eben had finished saying his goodbyes, they were short and sweet as he didnt have much family around anymore. He made his way to the train station, his heart was beating fast excited to start a new journey. Eben entered a train car, on the far side was a table filled with food and drink of every variety. His stomach began to growl, he never realized how hungry he really was. Eben grabbed a plate and began filling it up with as much food as he could. | |

| Sage Traport Sage heard the door open and close, with a soft mechanical buzz. She flicked her hazel eyes over to the tribute who had just entered, the male tribute, Eben. The victor hadn't wanted to watch the reapings, but she always did. This boy hadn't shown much emotion when he was called, maybe he was confident in the idea of coming home? She couldn't sure. The woman watched him for a moment in silence, until she figured she should probably start talking. "Hello, I'm Sage Traport, your mentor."
She tried her best to give him a warm smile, but she doubted it would help the situation. Most teenagers wouldn't be thrilled to have the chance to die. Sage surely wasn't thrilled when she was reaped. "You can take a seat, if you want." she offered, motioning to the seat across the table from her. "Then we can start discussing strategies and such."

| Eben hadnt noticed the girl standing in the room until now. "Hey, my name is Eben Dunbryll." he said, introducing himself. Eben took his plate over to the couches and sat down. "What kind of strategy would you suggest, should I go solo or join an alliance?" He asked her. He began to eat his food, fruits and veggies and a glass of juice. | |

| Sage Traport Sage nodded as he introduced himself, trying to wonder what kind of tribute he would be. There were lots of types, the cocky type, the innocent type, or the talented type. Victors were a little of all three, normally. She couldn't get a clear read on Eben though, which could be good or bad, it depended.
When he started asking questions, Sage smiled broadly. She was happy to give her opinion. "Well, I went solo," the victor explained with a shrug. Different games meant different things for different people. Each Hunger Games had different outcomes, and it all depended on the scenario. "It depends on how confident you are in your abilities." she added, motioning with her hands as she spoke. "I wasn't very confident in myself, but I still went alone. I didn't want to get attached to anyone, so I wasn't. However, people have won in groups before, but groups always fall apart. It could be in your favor, or not." Sage sighed, pursing her lips slightly. She brushed a strand of her hair out of her face before continuing. "It's your choice really, because different things work for different people. Do you see yourself working better in a group or alone?"
