| When Faye was pulled away, Amaya didn't have a chance to say more to her but she lowered her voice to the blank door as it slammed before her, "You know me, Amaya Walker, Hell Giver of District 4..." she laughed pathetically and then it was all quiet again, and she sat back down on the floor head slumping onto her folded knees, but this time, the tears were gone and they won't be coming back any time soon. After the vulnerability, the facade was back on.
She was brought towards the train, escorted if she may add in humour, and the door slid closed behind her, looking towards an empty carriage. Amaya pulled out the hair pin, and tied up her hair into a ponytail, tucking the pin somewhere safe in her pocket. She didn't want to lose it or damage it or something and thus, it was kept somewhere else other than her head. A bet is a bet no? A bet to return it in no other form than it's original. She walked around and stared in awe; the furniture in the room looked so posh that she didn't dare touch anything; big squishy seats, glass tables, weird looking chairs, but serious who designed these things? She poked her head through another carriage, and empty. And she tried yet another one. After her alone time in the claustrophobic room, she didn't really want to stay alone any more, so she tried searching for her district partner, Levi, or maybe even their mentor. But it was as empty as a beach in the winter. In the end she just stood there, whistling as she looked out the window that still showed the beach as the waves rolled in, and children ran around playing in the sand and sea. She couldn't hear it, and she couldn't smell it but she's been there long enough to imagine the sounds and smell itself. Amaya fiddled with the vial bringing it up to her eye level as she aligned it with the sand and sea on the beach, and smiled. I'll be back soon.

Ben quietly made his way into the train compartment and stretched. It'd been a while since he had to do any of this. Not so used to being awake for so long, having woken up at 5 in the morning that day to get his stuff packed for it all, Ben let out a yawn as he found one of his tributes and waved. "Hi there" he said politely, "I'm Ben, your mentor" he said, who else would he really be? No one, but hey, it was customary, otherwise you'd end up with a dimwitted tribute asking if you're the mentor and have to avoid beating them up.

| Levi was still lightheaded from what had happened that day. It all happened in a flash, he was questioning if it was even real. But it was, it was too real. Levi walked through the busy train station as he made his way to the train that would bring him to the Capitol. People watched him as he walked, and smiled as Levi passed them. Once he reached the steps up onto the train, he climbed them and looked back at his district. He smiled at waved to the people. He would be back, Levi knew he had the skills to win these games. "See you soon." He shouted. Then he stepped onto the train.
Levi was surprised by what the train was like, but not too surprised. It wasn't exactly what he had expected, but he knew that it wouldn't be like anything he'd ever seen before. Levi rushed over to the little kitchen, where fascinating food lied, just waiting to be eaten. Levi took a strange looking croissant and took a bite out of it. "Yum." He smiled and took his food over to another room. He saw his district partner, Amaya Walker, sitting in the room. He had seen her a few times, but never really got to know her. "Hey." Levi smiled and say down on a plush chair. I'm Levi Hollis." Just then a man walked in, and Levi assumed he was their mentor. He was surprised however, for this guy didn't look like Hunter, the most recent winner of the games for district 4. "Hey. I'm Levi, but you probably know that from the reapings." Levi said to Ben. "Where's Hunter this year?" He asked.

| Amaya turned away from the window and let go of the necklace when she heard the doors open. "Hiya! The food must be good, seeing how happy you are," she quipped and sat down across Levi. She looked up to him and grinned as he introduced himself, she wondered if they would ever be allies, she'd rather trust someone from the same district than anyone else, but she had to keep in mind that only one comes back. And before she could say more their mentor came in, not who she was expecting. "Amaya Walker, nice to meet you," introducing herself to the two of them, she rested her elbows on her knees, hands playing with the pen on the desk. She stared at the food that Levi had brought in only to realise... that she was getting hungry. But she couldn't leave now, she would just go get something later. Amaya bit her lip as the silent hunger became more apparent than before. When Levi asked what she was wondering as well, she looked up to Ben, curious for an answer too. She remembered Hunter since those days of watching him on the screen to him coming home and all that. She remembered how Kaira always looked up to him and all and smiled to herself, how hilarious would it be if Kaira went around annoying the recent victor? Just a little entertainment to keep her mind alive. | |

Ben shrugged at the question about the usual mentor. His successor, "I dunno, crippled, dead, family issues, mental problems, sickness." he said, "Could be any of those things for Mentors, really." he added, sitting in one of the chairs, "Every victor comes back with something they didn't want, it's a side effect of living through the Games. Some are just better off than others" he said, "But name a victor and I'll tell you what they took home against their will, any victor." he told them. Not trying to exactly be discouraging about winning, it was still better than suffering a horrible death in the arena.
