The District 1 escort steps up on stage and smiles with blindingly white teeth. She starts speaking in a high pitched voice, "Welcome everyone to the Reapings! She dug her hand into the bowl and pulled out the female tribute's name, "Noctavia Frost" She called out and then she dug into the male's bowl. "Anthony Brown"

Anthony stood by all the eager young men of his group, but unlike them he was petrified. He had just recently fallen in love with a young lady named Noctavia Frost, but everything was about to change. When Noctavia's named was called he nearly collapsed, "No..." he breathed. Then when his named was called his eyes narrowed as tears began building up "Great..." Then he willingly let himself he led up to the stage, looking over to the escort with almost hatred in his eyes. But then the hatred melted as he looked to Noctavia, tears threatening to spill. He knew he must look like an idiot but he didn't care, he loved her, but only one of them had a chance to come out of this alive.

Lola hears the name called. Noctavia. She didn't know her, but she wanted to know what it was like being in the games. And Lola wouldn't go down easily. She had plans. Being in the career, getting a 10 at least, getting her hands on a bow. She could vision it. She knew it was her year. When they asked for volunteers, she stuck her hand up and shouted "I VOLUNTEER!" Everyone faced her but she smiled. She walked up to the stage and was officially in the Annual Hunger Games. No turning back, even though she showed no signs of turning back.
