Madelyn got angry now that they all started to try and attack her. She raised her shield up to try and block the arrow from Astrid. Madelyn was still sticking to the plan. "Astrid, girl, I'm just trying to use my manners, the term is ladies first." She said and laughed as she launched another arrow Astrid's way. If they all could die as quick as they kill was how Madelyn wanted it, but they were more skilled than a bunch of regular district people going crazy attacking.

I decide to try and help, I charge out crying "FOR NARNIA!!!" randomly. I slash at Astrid, trying to help the girl from 12, "Well, this is a mighty suprise, the girl who could kill 6 people within 30 minutes has killed none yet," I taunted (no idea if that was a compliment or not. LOL). I looked around, seeing if anyone else needed help.

Spencer watched as an axe came down towards Jacob and Astrid had just herself missed it with her shield. He stepped over, his long legs helping him out as he did not use that much time to try and get there with his own shield to try and stop the axe attack. It worked having them all closer together like that so it made working together much easier, and in an event like this working together was the key. They just needed to survive as long as they could. This event had a deadline and they were reaching it sooner rather then later. He wished though that he could just find Solange again and talk to her more, so that he could go back to the days in the arena of the 31st games, back to where he felt somewhat comfortable. Instead of this which was just a big advertisement on how nonathletic and still ill equipped for any sort of battle royale. He turned to his allies and noticed how they seemed to be getting the majority of the hits while none seemed to go by him. Was it because he had made an effort to find Solange? They did know this was a game with the purpose of bringing down the victors. Of all of the victors picked, Spencer was the easiest to pick off, yet he was somehow being spared until later. "Having fun yet? This is supposed to be fun....right?" He looked over to both Astrid and Jacob and decided they had had enough attacks on them for the time being and ran full speed towards the girl from District 12 that his posse had been attacking so far, the one that seemed to be doing most of the attacking as the other one seemed to out stick out much in his mind. He swung his knife as he passed by her looking to do some sort of drive by attack or something then stopped himself right in the thick of the enemies. "Bink."

Solange's grin widened as she imagined Spencer stuffing himself with cakes, "you will." She cracked her last joke. Her hands slid down his back, reluctant to let go, but time was merciless. "Just forget the world for a little while... and just sleep," her voice softened even further showing a tinge of sadness in them, as she closed her eyes. She wanted to sleep too, if it was even possible. It was like an escape from the world. And Spencer should be enjoying that luxury too. For me, she mouthed, not really wanting to speak anymore as her voice cut itself off. That was when he pulled away, forcing her arms to fall to her side again. She threw a pathetic smile in as they stares at each other for a second or two. You can't cry. You can't cry. You can't cry. You mustn't cry. Solange hold on to the smile as she lifted the bow that dangled on her index finger, suggesting a return to the madness. Spencer held her arms once more and kissed the top of her head as she squinted her eyes a little, enjoying each others company till the very last moment. Solange shook her head, looking up to Spencer one last time, screw not crying. it was easier to let it out anyways, like all the pressure disappeared instantly when the tap ran. "I'm sorry too."

Vulnerability. It kills. And yet, it's what makes us human. She watched as he ran back to his side, and she turned back to hers. No one really cared after that. The fight went on just fine without her. But, yet again, she stood at the back of the pack, nocking in an arrow, maybe her last few arrows ever. She sniffled her nose, as she drew back, shoulders relaxing, arms aiming. One eye closed as she picked her target. Animals, all of them were. Thwak, went the bow as the other half of its weaponry sliced the air to Astrid, the latest District 2 victor. Solange felt like she had let her district down, losing and dying and all. Especially the way she had gone out, even the way she had gone in. Passive, wimpy, fearful. That's not District 2 at all. But nothing like a celebratory brawl with fellow district 2 people.. no? Solange eyes glanced towards her old district partner and smiled to herself. People just had to make them face one another again didn't they? The feelings were just horrible. They think everyone just kiss and makes up. Well they don't.
