I ran away from the fight as fast as I could. I plop down on the sand with relief and open my bag. I pull out my first-aid kit and grab some tubes of medicine. I spread it on all my wounds.

I had followed Snow a bit because I was determined to have her dead, one less tribute to worry about that was. I found her and smirked. "Someone has healed!" I said grinning. Then I came up to her, "Had to run away?" I asked and then hit her with my sword.

I hear my stomach growl and thirst gnaws at my throat. I drink from my water bottle. I feel the medicine come into effect, but it's not enough. I rub some more of it on me. I look around to see if there are any bushes with berries, or even a frog to eat.

Then I hear Maria's voice.

I grab my spear, turn around, and throw it at her.

OOC: Second heal doesn't count for Snow. Plus you can't block, heal and attack in one turn.

So I was right. "What? You afraid of a bunch of non-careers?" Careers aren't supposed to run away from what I know. I take out my knife. "Let's just finish her off Maria. I don't want to have to chase this girl anymore." With that, I stab Snow.

I nodded to Brandon and then I stepped out of the way and her attack missed me. I brought my sword down again and went to hit Snow hoping to actually hit her this time and I took better aim. With my other sword I tried knocking away her medical kit.

I just to the side to try and avoid Maria and Brandon's attack. I grab a knife out of my belt and throw it at Brandon. I keep my eyes glued to Both of them, not daring to shift my gaze anywhere else. I watch every move they make, ready to jump. Maria is strong for a district 12 girl, but I'm not giving up. "I'm done running."

Quickly, I grab the tube again and rub some on my arm. Then I drop it and jab Maria with my spear. I hope the medicine works when you're trying to defeat 2 almost unharmed humans with weapons. I just hope Skye, or someone gets here fast. I sigh. Can't these people just go and give up on me?

Rhea and Heppa managed to make it to the river to rest. Heppa sat down as Rhea caught her breath. She could hear sounds of a struggle and motioned for Heppa to stay where she was. She gripped her spear and looked to see Maria going to finish what she started with Snow. I guess I should help "I'll be back, just sit here and rest alright. Don't need you getting hurt more." She ran over to Snow, raising her spear to attack and swinging it down attempting to knock her out.

I tried to hit Brandon so to save him I tried kicking him out of the way but not hard enough to hurt him. I was rather annoyed, she need to have that medical kit gone but first I ducked the attack and then hit her medical kit away. Then I slashed my sword at her.

I was surrounded. There was no way I could get out of this. That moment I did one of the most riskiest things of my entire life.

I jumped into the river.

I remembered my dad teaching me to swim during a trip into the wilderness. We found a lake and he taught me to kick and paddle. I held my breath and let the river carry me to where it's destination. I bet at home all of Panem is laughing at me and calling me stupid. But, I did it anyway.

Rhea stood by the riverbed, Snow was still in range of attack. She jabbed the spear into the water, almost like a fisherman trying to spear a fish. She figured that even if she didn't hit Snow would have to get out eventually. She couldn't keep up swimming forever.

Heppa grinned at Snow, who was trying to swim away. She laughed. Heppa could easily hit her with her bow and arrows. She readied an arrow and then shot it at Snow. Heppa's hair was plastered to her face with cold sweat. She wasn't bleeding anymore but her left arm had dried blood all over it.

josh runs up to maria after picking up the bloody knife that snow pulled out of her leg. "now that was a good hit" he stated joyfully. "if i can get one of your swords i will pull her onto the beach and let you finish her off. does that sound good?"

Snow gets caught on the back of a rock. Out of the way of the tributes attacking range, but still stuck in the water.
