Name: Grace Thornton

Weapon Of Choice: Haven't trained with any because of living in the seam. Grace does like the sound of using bow and arrows though.
Personality/Appearance
Physical Appearance: Grace is 8 stone and 5'4. She has long brown hair and big brown eyes. Her skin is pale and gets burnt easily in the sun. Grace normally wears a plain green t-shirt which is really baggy on her, brown trousers and black shoes. She normally puts her hair in a ponytail and sometimes she would get a daisy from the meadow and put it in her hair.
Personality: Grace is the sort of person who only speaks to her friends and family. She doesn't answer out loud in classes unless asked to, she doesn't get up in front of an audience for any reason, she is overall shy. However, when she is with her friends and family, she is very giggly, funny and enjoys life more. Only her friends and family can bring out Grace's fun personality. She pays a lot of attention at school, especially Art and P.E. She sometimes wants to fall asleep during Physics but luckily Physics is right before Art so she has something to look forward to.
Flaw: 1.She is really bad at a lot of subjects at school. She is horrible at history and wonders why we need to know the past. She gets confused in Maths, especially during Algebra. This is why she is also bad at Physics. the only subjects she is good at are Art and P.E.
2.She gets upset quickly. She can't watch the Hunger Games for too long because of all of the deaths. She doesn't know how she would cope in it, even though she is athletic.
Talents: 1.She is athletic. She is really good at sports, like free running, parkour and long jump. She would love to try other sports, more dangerous and thrilling, like archery and knife throwing. She feels that she belongs in District 1 or 2.
2.She is a creative thinker. If there is a problem, she will think of different ways to solve it. This has been developed from her love of Art. If she has to hide, instead of staying on the ground, she would climb up a tree. When she has to prepare food for her family, she tries to make different stuff.
3. She is a good cook. She knows the most efficient ways of cooking. In Autumn, she uses apples. In Winter, she makes cooked food, like soup. In Spring, she uses herbs. In Summer, she uses strawberries and makes cold stuff like sandwiches. She still has a limited supply, but with the tesserae, it gives her more choice.
Family/History
Family: Mother, 36, Grace calls her Mum; Father, 38, Grace calls him Dad; Sister, 12, Grace calls her Sis
Pets: None, she doesn't need another mouth to feed.
Brief History: Ever since Grace was born, she was always in the company of her Mum. Because of her Dad working in the mines, she never got to see him regularly. They would always catch up every Sunday, and they are still doing that now. When she was four, her Mum gave birth to her sister. They were always connected, and even though they were sisters, they were the opposite of each other. Grace was creative and athletic, her sister was realistic and logical. She couldn't run a mile without a break, something Grace does naturally now. Her sister is so strong and brave, compared to Grace. Her sister could watch most of the Hunger Games and hardly cry because its life. Grace can't do that. Grace cries all of the time. They couldn't be much more different.
When Grace turned 12, she immediately signed up for tesserae. Her family were starving and even though it meant entering more times for the Hunger Games, it didn't matter to her. When her sister turned 12, she told her not to enter, but she did. She felt that it was unfair for one person to enter and not the other. This is her sister's first year. She is entered 5 times. This is Grace's 5th year. She is entered 25 times. The odds are not in Grace's favor.

Weapon Of Choice: Doesn't have one
Personality/Appearance
Physical Appearance: Melody is 7 stone and is 4'9. She has short brown hair and brown eyes. She normally wears a white buttoned up shirt, grey skirt and plain grey shoes. She normally keeps her hair down because it is too short to do anything with.
Personality: Melody is really confident. She is really chatty, she has lots of friends at school and she can cope through a lot of stuff without getting worried or stressed. She is a logical thinker though. She knows when to be serious and when it's okay to be giggly.
Flaw: 1.She isn't physically strong. She can only run lightly for a minute without getting out of breath so she doesn't think that she could cope well in the games.
2.She is hopeless at cooking. Luckily her sister can cook because one time Melody tried to make apple pie with the tesserae and it was burnt and not edible.
Talents:1.She is emotionally strong. Even though her sister is 16, she can watch The Hunger Games and think nothing of it unless she knows the tributes from 12. It takes way more to scare and worry Melody than it does to Grace.
2.She is logical. She is great at Maths and Science so she knows the best way to do something.
3.She is popular. Being so chatty but great at school, she makes friends easily but doesn't take it for granted.

Brief History: Melody is the youngest in the Thorntons. Because of that, she had to watch her sister go through 4 reapings, each time a lot more scary because of how many times she was entered in. Melody knew immediately that she should sign up for the tesserae. It wasn't fair for her sister to sign up and her not to. Grace is entered 25 times in her 5th reaping. Melody is entered 5 times in her first reaping. The odds are not in their favors.

Personality/Appearance
Physical Appearance: Marcus has dark skin with dark brown eyes. He has black hair that he tries to style as best as he can with what he has. Since he spends most time at the farm when he isn't at school, he wears a white shirt and dungarees. He is 5'7 and weighs 10 stone.
Personality: Marcus is very chatty, especially around his friends and family. He doesn't mind chatting through lessons at school because he doesn't think that he will need good results. He is very popular but he doesn't get big headed about it. In fact, sometimes he hates being popular because he can never get peace and quiet.
Flaw: 1.Marcus doesn't pay attention at school. School could get him out of the farming but he doesn't care.
2.Despite being in the agriculture district, he is bad with animals. He hates going up to them. It's not because he is scared of them, it is because he knows what happens to most of them in the end. He hates murder, especially to animal. He doesn't belong in District 11.
Talents: 1.He is strong. He always tries to work out, even if he has to lift 2 litre bottles 10 times a day. He always run to school and run back home.
2.He is a good cook. He knows how to make meals with limited supplies and when to eat stuff so they can get more depending on seasons.
3.Marcus is popular. The boys want to be him, the girls want to be with him. If he was in the Hunger Games, he has a feeling that They would do all they could to get him out.
Family/History
Family: Father, 40
Pets: Sheep dog, 3, Ruffles
Brief History: Marcus never got to speak to his Mum. That is because his Mum died during child birth. He ended up living with his Father, who he loved very much. His Father taught him everything. How to read, how to farm, how to love. His Father gets to food and Marcus cooks it. They talk everyday about how things are going. Soon, it will be the 32nd Hunger Games. Marcus is entered 6 times.
