Solstice soon reacted on impulse and she tried to move to the side as quickly as possible to try and avoid the attack. She then lunged forward and tried to hit the damn thing, and get some sort of hit on it, so far neither of them actually landed a hit on each other, but soon, there would be a time. Perhaps the creature hit her and she hadn't notice yet.

Solstice noticed the hit that the mutt had done to her and she sighed, just a small wound for now, she just have to focus from now on to prevent other ones, at least so she wasn't near death or something. Solstice jumped back from the creature and then side stepped and lunged after it with her blade from another angle.

As she watched her attack fail she soon quickly ducked and tried to avoid being head butted, she didn't know what this creature had to offer as far as dangers and toxins went and how harmful it was. Solstice gripped her blade tightly, she hadn't hit once yet, and soon, it'd start to piss her off. She then ran forcefully slashes at mutt, whatever it was supposed to be, she didn't really know but she did know it was going down one way or the other.

Solstice sighed and watched as it backed away for the moment not attacking her, but she wondered if it was trying to call something even scarier forth. Soon she took a quick lunge and swiped at the creature hoping to get a hit this time as she clenched her jaw shut tight.

Solstice smiled slightly at the hit she managed to get, maybe she'd be luckier from here on out. She watched as she angered it and then ducked at the next attack and then she went ahead and took a strike at the beast again, maybe she could survive better than she had anticipated, or maybe it'd go all down hill and she'd die here, at least she wasn't attacking a real tribute though.

Watching the animal get furious was a little nerve racking but hilarious in one sense, she just started to laugh, most tributes would be in fear at this but this creature being all angry was a bit amusing. She side stepped hoping to get out of the way and then did a slight semi spin using her body weight for force to attack the beast.

The creature stepped back and sniffed at its own blood running down its legs. It let out a furious battle cry and charged forwards, slashing at the tribute with both front legs in succession.

Well apparently, the beast didn't feel like being mocked for it was trying to damage her a lot more than before. Well, this was going to be fun. Hopefully she wouldn't die in this battle, it'd be her only battle, and she didn't want to lost right away, as much as she said she wasn't really going to try to win, she didn't want to die yet. Then she wondered how many tributes were left, it's been awhile since she looked up in the sky and the games have gone on for awhile now, if she made it out alive she'd try to get back up into grounds that were brighter or something. Soon she tried to side step away from the more harmful looking attack and took on the lesser attack. She jabbed at the creature with her knife that was fairly bloody by now.

The creature screeched as it was stabbed once more, before dropping hard to the ground. Its blood had splattered on the arm and torso of the tribute during the fight, along with her own blood.

The tribute began to feel dizzy from the blood loss.

Solstice sighed, finally the mutt was gone, she walked slowly a bit moving away from the mutt that had just died, she'd leave it be. She continued to walk a bit of ways so she was out of sight than she stopped. She sat down and then still surprising she had some light from her torch. She stuck it in the ground and then pulled out the scraps of pants from her bag. "I don't always wear pants, but when I do they get ruined." She said chuckling and then she took some of it to wipe a bit of blood off of her so she could see her wounds, then with the other pieces wrapped the cloth around her wounds tightly to put pressure on it to stop the majority of bleeding. Solstice then grabbed an apple from her bag, she took a few bites to get moisture back in her mouth and hopefully the nutrients would help her dizziness slightly.

Soon enough even in her stumbling state she continued on and she was looking for a way back up to the ground, down here was just dangerous and she didn't want to have her body be difficult to retrieve when she died at any point. Solstice kept searching using her torch light to help her.

Solstice looked at it and sighed, "Oh yay, just what I needed, a mud bath, filled with god knows what." She said and shook her head lightly, well if it gets her up there then why not? She was already covered in blood from the waist up, not like it could get worse in that aspect, but then again you never knew.

Solstice looked at the wall, it wasn't that much taller than her, she was roughly 5'7" meanwhile this was only six feet and a half, maybe. It as a bit complicated to tell and she wasn't about to measure. She shook her head from the thoughts and went up to the wall and tried to climb up it to get to the surface above this place.

Solstice sighed, of course she wouldn't be able to get a grip on anything, not everything worked out well with the games here, they wanted you to die so there would be one tribute left at the end of it all. She grabbed a knife of hers and walked up to the wall again, she'd try once more, and this time would try to use her knife for grip.
