| Avoiding the paints station, which Valerie knew was probably the only thing she was even halfway decent at, Valerie headed from the lunch room to the agility course, where it was nearly deserted. She nodded at the course, staring it down like an enemy. She climbed up to the first ledge, and took a second to admire the view from up there. It's kind of nice, she realized, Now stop it. You have to train. Valerie grabbed the hanging rope, wrapped it around her hands, and swung off of the ledge onto a larger platform, almost not getting her hands untangled in time. She continued the course with moderate skill, gradually getting better, but with no particularly noticeable difference. It was fun, so she did it for a while, until she could free her hands from the rope without difficulty. Although she doubted there would be an apparatus like that in the arena, she figured 'you never know.' |
