Brief History:
Tallix is the oldest child of Helena and Hakan Meara. She fishes to provide for the family, using nets, spears and traps to catch fish. She knows how to avoid peacekeepers seeing her. Her father made her a canoe when she was 10, and she often goes out on the water in it. Her father taught her how to survive from a young age, teaching her about plants, animals and marine plants and animals. But after her mother fell ill her father stopped taking her out to learn. Her mother died of the illness, and her father is very reluctant to let Tallix fish for the family, in case the peacekeepers catch her. She continues to feed her family, and hasn't been caught so far.
Physical Appearance: She is tall for her age. She has an average build, but slightly on the slender side. She has muscular arms as a result of her going canoeing and doing archery. She has long, straight brown hair and brown eyes. Her skin is tanned as she's always outside.
Personality: She's adventurous, outgoing, intelligent, but can be shy and quiet when she's nervous. She can be loud when around people she knows well, and is completely loyal to them. She'd defend them in any situation. She struggles to trust strangers, but she may get used to a stranger and eventually trust them.
Flaw: She's terrified of heights and doesn't know how to climb trees, as she doesn't want to fall.
Pets: She rescued an osprey chick and helped it until it could go back to the wild. It follows her when she goes out.
Rich or Poor?: Medium, but on the poor side. Has enough to buy clothes, but has to hunt herself to provide enough food.
Weapon of Choice: Bow and Arrow (if she can't get one, she's very good with a sword)

Real Family died when he was seven, he was adopted but ran away when he was ten.
Brief History:
Born to a normal family, and had two sisters. When he was seven illness struck and his entire family died. He was adopted later the same year by a nearby family, who already had other adopted children. He never accepted them as his new family and left when he was ten. He went to his best friend's house and asked if he could live there. Their parents agreed to let him stay there, having been friends of the family. He began working as a lumberjack along with his new family. He took their name 'Oaken'.

He's tall, with long blonde hair which often falls in front of his eyes unless he flicks it to the side. He has bright blue eyes and pale skin. He's got very muscular arms as he's worked as a lumberjack since he was ten years old. He's very strong and can lift heavy weights (or use a sword if he has to).
Personality:
He's a nice friendly person who likes to have the company of close friends. His complex and sad history has made him quite a reserved person. It takes a lot for him to open up and tell people what he feels. He's decent, and doesn't like to see others suffering or in need. He likes to help people as much as he can. He's an excellent listener and trusts his close friends completely, but regards strangers as a possible threat and may treat them with open hostility. If he does think someone is a threat he can become very defensive, and may try to protect his friends from this stranger. He can become extremely aggressive if cornered or confused.
Flaw: He can't run very fast, but can run long distance. It takes him a while to trust people, and his aggressive behaviour to strangers may put them off him.
Pets: His family have a yellow labrador named Maple.
Rich or Poor?: His family aren't poor, but have to work hard to get enough money to live.
Weapon of Choice: Axes, saws, a good broadsword.
Talents: He has a gift with birds, they trust him and take food straight from his hand. He's strong and can use large weapons like axes easily. He can climb trees well, but if they're too thin they can't support his weight.

Brief History:
His mother died when he was young and he and his two brothers lived with their father. He was cruel and trained all of them
to be Career Tributes. As district 2 made weapons it was easy to get weapons to train with. Their father trained them every day, forcing them to fight him and to fight eachother. They never went home without cuts and bruises. Tyler's older brother was never reaped, and his younger brother is still too young. So his father now picks on him, training him the hardest and for the longest. He's trained almost as if he was in an army.
His father forces him to take tesserae, not because they need it, but because he wants his son's name in there as many times as possible.
Physical Appearance:
He's of medium height, but has a strong build. He has short brown hair with emerald green eyes. After years of training, he has
the body of an athlete. He has strong legs and arms, but they aren't that muscular, so his strength can be quite surprising.
He has many scars all over his body, mostly on his arms and torso, which he tends to show off by wearing short sleved clothes
or no top at all.
Personality:
To other people he's surprising friendly for someone with such a military styled background. He's willing to talk, and he can charm people with his words. It's quite easy to be friends with him. Most of the time, however, it is just an act. Tyler doesn't really want or need friends, he just wants to use people. He can get what he wants from someone easily, and
without them realising that he's using them. Other people really think that they're friends. He's quite a sad person inside,but he would never let that show. He doesn't really know what having a friend is really like, so he is exceptionally lonely.
He knows nothing else than being a Career Tribute.
Flaw: As a result of his brutal training, he sometimes underestimates other people. If they're short, or look weak he may tend to ignore them, and focus on stronger looking people.

Mother, father, two brothers and three sisters.
Brief History:
She's the youngest in her family, and all but one of her siblings are the right age to be a tribute. All of them have to take tesserae, and they all have their names in at least ten times. Avis has her name in seven times. From a young age she's worked in the orchard, picking fruit from the high trees, and she helps her family doing labour work on the ground. This has made her stronger.
Physical Appearance:
She has dark hair and skin and is of average size for her age. She's normally quite scruffy and dirty from climbing trees and working on the land everyday. As her family is so large, she has all the hand-me-down clothes from her brothers and sisters. Nothing perfectly fits, and nothing hasn't been patched up or fixed. She's a sweet and innocent looking girl though.
Personality:
Avis may look sweet and innocent, but she's perfectly able to defend herself. She's very good with words and able to get out of a tight spot. Her name means 'Bird Wolf' and she can be like
either of those animals. Sweet like a bird or fierce like a wolf. She's an excellent climber and often goes out to watch the birds and squirrels.
Flaw: Her small size means she's unable to use large weapons or carry heavy loads.
Pets: A small Skylark

Talents: She's a good climber, she's able to run extremely fast and she's able to talk her way
out of bad situations.
