Klark ran, and ran as fast as he could away from the burning second floor. He knew that it would be best to go outside, but he wasn't exactly sure where he was going. Klark ended up in a room full of boxes, he stopped to catch his breath.
That was NOT fun. Klark thought, his brain still muddled from being half-cooked. Klark hoped that he wouldn't encounter any other tributes-he had had enough of them already. Klark found a box, and sat down on it, wondering if he should make camp here for the night.

Klark sighed, and decided that he should keep moving. Don't wanna almost become a Klark-cookie again. He thought, standing up from the crate. He looked at it for a moment, wondering if he should open it or not. After almost being baked to death, Klark wanted to be as cautious as possible. There might be some animal in there that wants to eat my face. Or food that'll kill me as soon as I eat it. Or...or...Dang. Guess I had better open it and get it over with...
He picks up the heavy axe, and begins trying to pry the crate open.

Inside the crate was a lone chipmunk, rather small. It scurried out of the crate and onto the floor, as it stopped and there was silence...It grew bigger into a giant chipmunk. It growled at Klark, and began to go after Klark.

(The giant chipmunk has 150 hp and hint you take both damages from the chipmunk.)

Klark practically had a heart attack as what seemed as a small, harmless chipmunk, grew into something that would haunt Klark for the rest of his life, which might not be all to long.
The game makers must HATE me! Haven't I entertained them enough for one day?!? He thought quickly. Klark took a step back from the large chipmunk, and took a good look at it-then taking a swing with his axe that he already had in his hand.

Klark bit his lip in pain. His leg was still bleeding slightly from his previous ally attacking him in the leg. Now, he was being attacked by a chipmunk, and was loosing blood fast. His face began to pale.
"No, I'm not letting some STUPID chipmunk kill me!!" He shouted, putting his hands up against his ears as the chipmunk squealed.
"Ahhhhh...!!" He yelled as the squeal hurt his ears.
I'm going to die... Klark thought, but he wasn't going to give up. Not yet.

Klark bit the inside of his cheek, not wanting to show the game makers any satisfaction of killing him. He knew that he wasn't going to make it alive. Klark was going to die, and he knew it. But, hopefully, he'd be able to kill the chipmunk before it went off and killed another tribute. That, or damage it enough so it'd be easier to kill for the next tribute that it encountered.
"Take this, rodent!" Klark said quietly. He took a swing at the chipmunk, knowing that it wasn't going to be much damage. After all, Klark was becoming weaker by the second.

Klark's breath began to slow. He coughed up some blood, signaling that his internal organs had been damaged.
"Skye...Mom...Dad...I'm...I'm sorry. I...I couldn't keep my promise..."
Klark drops to the ground, not even bothering to attack the chipmunk. Hey, Klark. Listen to yourself. One more swing. You can do that much. Just swing that stupid axe of yours one more time. Klark told himself. He took a shallow breath, coughing up a little more blood. Klark swung, one last time, before he leaned his head over, his hair wet with sweat.

Klark coughed a few more times, more blood coming out each time. He could feel his heart slowing down. But that was ok with him. He didn't feel any pain as the rodent slashed at him once more. In fact, Klark even smiled. He had been in so much pain before, but that was all over now.
"Thank you, chipmunk..." He whispered, barley audible.
"I'm sorry Skye. I...I couldn't keep my promise to you. Don't cry though...don't...don't feel sorry for me. I...I...I'm ok..."
As Klark spoke, his voice became quieter. Slowly, Klarks eyes went from looking at the rodent to the floor, which was now covered in his blood.
"Such a...such a...such a messy way to die..." He said, his eyes closing for the last time.
You did it Klark, you did it. He begins to tell himself. You made it to day 7. You came into an encounter with the Careers, and escaped them. You were able to escape the bloodbath at the Cornucopia and then seek back there the next day to get supplies. You meet two tributes, and allied yourself with them, even though as soon as things got bad they turned on you. You escaped a gigantic oven, and possibly helped two other tributes out. He takes a shaky breath. You meet a girl in District 6, and didn't kill her. You made it out of the Games without killing anyone. You didn't let the Game makers change who you were. Klark lets a smile kreep across his face.
And now, you need to rest. You've been busy for so long. Just rest. Rest forever, Klark Peterson. Rest in peace.

And with that, the male tribute for District 6 died. Died with a smile on his face.
