I walked through the forest with silent feet. All I had was a knife, and I was scared. I was hoping a career wasn't following me. That'd really suck.

I heard a noise behind me, and I stopped cold. "H-Hello?" I whispered, legs shaking.

I cried out as pain shot out through my leg. I gripped my knife tightly. "You're not the only one who's going to shed blood!" I spat at him. My eyes were ablaze with fury, and I tried to stand up straight. The pain was burning, and I was losing blood. I clenched my teeth, trying to ignore the pain. I shifted the kinfe in my hand. I was aching to throw it. Just throw it at his head, and end it. It was tempting, oh so tempting. But this was a moment that I would be one camera. And I was going to go home. Even if I had to go through this twig of a tribute.

I screamed, and threw my knife.

I watched the battle ensue from behind a tree. Please don't let them notice me. I hid further behind the tree, but still able to watch the battle. The (girl) on the ground seemed like they were going to die. I clung to the tree for protection.

(I can leave if you'd prefer three people, but otherwise, I'd like to practice... fake charrie! )

"Come on, honey. You can do this. Laurel Strawberry Taint, do you hear me? You have to win this!"

I could hear my mother's voice echoing in my ears as I stalked through the arena, heart leaping at every little sound. Suddenly, I noticed movement a little ways away from me. I tip-toed forward as quietly as possible, watching the two tributes battle. Should I intervene, and possibly gain an ally if I help one of them win by pure quantity of people? I wondered. Or will that just put me in danger?

Suddenly, I saw another tribute through the trees. The tribute seemed to be hiding. I decided to approach them, and tried to get their attention without alerting the other two by waving my arms.

I blinked a little and turned when I heard something too my left. I saw the girl waving at me, and I got worried. I felt for the knife I managed to grab on my leg. I hoped she wasn't going to hurt me.

I looked at the other tribute, who seemed to be nervous. How can I do this without scaring away a possible ally? I wondered. I decided to mouth, "I don't want to hurt you," but not say anything, just in case another, more aggressive tribute was in auditory range. I put my hand up in the air to show that I wasn't holding a weapon.
