Text Colors

HEY THERE! So, I saw someone's text that was purple. (Don't remember who... don't feel like checking.) I was all "WAAAIIIIIIT WHAT?" It wasn't one of the colors. So, I tried putting in my own color name. BOOM! It worked! I tried others, and most worked, but some didn't. I was searching for a list of them, and I'm pretty sure you can just put in any web color (like with a code for HTML stuff) and it'll accept it if you use the proper title. There's a list on Wikipedia called 'web colors' if you scroll down to the fancy color chart, and there are even others that work that aren't on there, but here are some examples that I liked:

MEDIUM VIOLET RED
DARK ORCHID
CORNFLOWER BLUE
AQUAMARINE
LIGHT SEA GREEN
MEDIUM SPRING GREEN


... and so on. Anyway, all you do is pick a color or type [ c o l o r = (color name) ] YOUR TEXT GOES HERE [ / c o l o r ] like you (no spaces) would normally, and where it says the color, type in something else. I'm pretty sure a lot of people already know this, I just wanted to post how to find the list. That's all!

Yeah, a lot of the simpler ones and one word ones work, a lot of the longer ones with more words don't

In the chatbox, when you choose your color(you know that box that pops up?) Well, those are all the diffrent colors that you can use, but instead of the name, it's a bunch of numbers

EX: #FF6600=ASDFJKL;

Ah, that makes sense. Those little code thingees are probably listed somewhere too, but probably the chatbox has the exact ones that can be used here. Good to know, thanks!

Really you can make a color out of anyword, for example, by inserting the word "Chair" into your code as seen above you get a color. You can make a color out of any word, expect for really long ones I think.

Snow? Hehe...Rainbow? Okay, why is rainbow the same as chair? Mold? Then the obvious color-words... Blood... Sky... Sunset... etc.


...wait, wait, wait, I hit preview and... why is blood purple? I mean, that actually could make sense, but sunset? Blue? And sky black? Well, it COULD make sense... like after a sunset, there's blue... and night sky... I guess it doesn't really assign it based on the word, just has a random color.

I've also discovered tea and mediumpurple. Oh, and plum.
