David stumbled into an area that seemed to be some kind of marketplace thing, it looked kind of freaky in his own opinion. He walked around, and looked at the place. It seemed like it'd be a pretty nice marketplace to sell some items, he doesn't know what kind of items though. Probably jewelry and food, the normal things you'd see in a market in other then Districts 1, 2, or 4. The male smiled, he was a little bit hungry so he pulled out the pack of crackers he had in his pocket. David had started to wonder how many people in the country of panem was rooting on him, probably only his family and Loki. Whatever, that wasn't now and he shouldn't worry about who wanted him to win. David took out a cracker and popped it into his mouth, get yo crackers here the boy thought to himself in his mind it originally sounded like those guys at baseball games who was selling food. He chuckled, why did he have to make such stupidily funny jokes? Nobody knew why, not even himself. David was starting to wonder where his allies were, if one of them died or not.

A lot of the shops looked torn down and abandoned and filled with cobwebs. It began to grow dark out. There was a little shuffling that could be heard around the market though.

Icarus walked through the streets of the old town. Most of the houses were in ruins, but that didnt mean there was nothing left. He would have to come back here with his allies and search the houses. Icarus found David in what he assumed had once been a great market place. "Looks like you made it out alive too, thank the gods." He said quietly.

David looked up as the sun started to set, it seemed the day has gone by fast. Well, Apparently time flies when people die, too. David smiled a little bit more, that wasn't as funny because he could be one of those people who die soon as well. The male looked at the sunset, it was a pretty pinkish-yellow that made him feel like it'd be a beautiful setting in a fairy tale. He wished this were a fairy tale, with all kinds of magical creatures crawling about. It'd be fun, seeing all the trolls, wizards, or maybe even the same cute little dragons from the 34th games. Nah, He thought to himself. David heard a sudden voice, causing him to jump up with his sword ready in hand. The teenager recognized it was Icarus and calmed down, there was Icarus. Now where was Paris? He didn't know, for god knows she could be bled-white and in a wooden crate being sent home along with the girl from 9 he had killed. The male smiled, and nodded towards Icarus. Acknowledging that he was there, he listened for incomers. David heard an odd kind of creaking sound, the kind you'd hear in an old haunted mansion or some old house of a squeaky floorboard. But he also heard a shuffling that was surrounding him, was this a trap? David bit his lip, he was starting to get worried that he had just trapped himself.

A little girl came up to the too boys and she tugged on David's sleep. "Please help me! My mommy's stuck in a house and I can't get her out." She wailed and then nodded up the street to a nice looking house that was still in tact.

As Arisu ventured off from the town square itself she finds herself in a little market place, almost like the one back home except fancier and cooler. But also more dead. She crept around not even needing to crouch to hide behind to stalls. It was actually getting really creepy for Arisu and she didn't like being alone anymore. She let out a shaky breath as she shut her eyes closed tightly, making all the scary thoughts go away, clutching George in front of her as he'd bravely take the front lines. When she heard a couple of mumbles and footsteps, Arisu hid under a stall table, glancing upwards, as she contemplated waiting it out or braving it first hand. But she figured that it finding her was scarier than her finding it. So she jumped up and held her knife out at whatever was out there and shouted, "Raaaah!" But when she opened her eyes, she realised who it was, the couple of people she knew and she let out a single laugh, "Hi guys! Sorry just a little jumpy there. Uh you're not gonna kill me right 'cause..." Arisu paused when she turned to the little girl that was in front of them, "Aww hey there, why's your mummy up there?"

Paris Erickson

Paris wandered through the streets of the town for a while until she reached the marketplace. The vibe she was getting off of the seemingly innocent town wasn't really that great, in fact it made her uncomfortable. She couldn't wait until they would be able to find a way out of the maze that was the town. Her brown eyes scanned the area, seeing David from 3, Icarus from 11, and Arisu from 11. She wasn't sure if she should go in, would it be smart? They could kill her. Inhaling, the girl walked into the marketplace, as if she belonged there.

As she walked in, she saw a little girl asking for help, something about her mother being stuck? Paris wasn't sure about it, there weren't any other people in the arena except them. This girl must be a mutt. "Hello," she said, waving at the trio with her free hand. Looking at the little kid, Paris tightened her grip on her sword. Paris didn't trust her, no way. This had to be a trap.

Trevor Lewis

The number of alleys that Trevor had managed to go through almost made him dizzy. It was getting to that point where he wasn't really completely sure what nature looked like anymore, just the dim straightaways he'd been jogging through tiredly. Sleep in the night had been hard to come by, Trevor being far too paranoid about the chances of someone cutting him up in his sleep, so today was not a happy day, even by Hunger Games standards. He came to an abrupt stop at the end of one alley, as he heard a number of voices. Trevor peeked carefully out of the alley and spotted a group of people, probably four or five? He didn't keep his head out there long enough to count before ducking behind the wall again. Should he go to them and take his chances? Some company would be nice for a little bit, to survive longer and maybe learn some new skills. Then again, all of them seemed at ease there, like they'd formed their pack previously, and a pack of five people probably wasn't looking for a sixth member when they could be hunting for prey.

Icarus and David dint have much time alone before they were joined by more people. The one girl was his own district partner, Alice, he was relieved that she had made it out of the bloodbath alive. The other girl was Paris, from district 12, he didnt know much about her, but decided to give it a chance. Icarus greeted them with a smile and a wave. Just then a small girl came towards them, crying about her mother being stuck, or something. Icarus looked at the house she was pointing out, it seemed to still be in tact. "I dont know about this, it could be a trap." He replied.

David saw more and more people file into the area, which was probably a good thing? Depending if they were friendly or going to attempt to rip their heads off, the first person that the male noticed walking into his view was Alice/Arisu. The bubbly, girl from 11. She seemed to be pretty trustworthy, Arisu got the highest score in training after-all. The second person that came in was Paris, he was glad that at least two of his allies got out of the bloodbath. David guessed by now Drew had gotten out of the bloodbath but won't be able to find him, oh well. The teenager waved friendily to the people who joined him in the marketplace of death and probably traps, and got scared from the sudden wailing voice and tug on his shirt. He jumped, and flinched looking over to whoever had pulled his sleeve. It was a little girl, wanting help getting her mother out of her home. David thought a bit, knowing it was a trap because of the house itself. "Arisu, want to go help save her mom? You'll probably get cookies! Actually, ooh cookies I want some let's go.David said with a suggestive smile, the male walked over to the house."Ladies first,"David said with a large smile, putting his arm out in front for the two girls. He knew that this was a trap, he had picked up his sword while walking over and got ready to attack in case if anything happened.

The little girl looked over at Arisu and she smiled. "Sissy!" She said and hugged her leg. The rest of them didn't trust her, so she wasn't inclined. "We need to get the key to get inside, but I'm afraid I've lost it." She spoke to them. "This should help you out." She said handing the paper to Arisu.

It read:

The girl you see
is not there to deceive
she will lead you on a quest
that happens to be north west

is where your quest calls

As for Trevor he remained unseen and was able to lightly hear the others speak.

Arisu giggles as she returned the hug, "Hi to you too! What's your name?" She looked up to the big building up the street. Her mouth gaped open as she stared but her attention turned back to the girl as she picked up the piece of paper from her. She tilted her head, not really getting to second part, but she'll take it. She turned to David who was almost excited to go on an adventure. "Yeah! I mean, if we're gonna die, might as well do something nice, right? Thoug hcookies is always a plus." She bent down to pat the little girl's head while she dismissed Icarus' worries. "Psh, the whole Game is a trap! No point dilly dallying brooding about it." Arisu showed the paper to David before skipping ahead, "Do you remember where you last saw it?" She chimed to the little girl, starting to move ahead already, trying to figure out where north west was.

Paris looked between the girl and her allies, questioning which one she trusted more. Shd agreed with Icarus that whatever the girl had planned wouldn't be easy, but she couldn't place much more than that. Treading carefully would be key. As they were handed a peice of paper, the girl scrunched together her eyebrows. Quest? Northwest? What was hat supposed to mean? She didn't trust anyone here enough to go on a quest with them. When David offered ladies first, Paris scoffed. "You first," she retorted, watching as Arisu walked in a new direction.

Paris looked around, trying to remmeber how to figure out where true North was. The task would be easier with a compass, but she was a little short of that. "We need to figure out which way is North. Ideas?"

Icarus had to agree with the girls, everyone was a potential trap. They needed to help the girl, but they just had to be prepared for whatever they faced. He read over the note trying to figure it out. "Cylinder stone walls sounds like a tower of some sort." He said, thinking out loud. Icarus spun around in circles, trying to figure out which way to go. "The sun sets in the west, so north would be to the right of that. Isnt that right?" He asked, questioning himself.

David heard the girl call him a Sissy, and he laughed. Sometimes the gamemakers made mutts that were actually entertaining at times, keyword; sometimes. He walked on, he was settling down as the male heard the mutt say that she lost a key and she had something that could help. The male looked over at the girl to see what she had handed Arisu what she had to help, it was some kind of note. Arisu read it through, and handed it to David. David read it over twice, not understanding what it meant at first and wondered what it meant. He started to think of something so stupidly smart it could actually work, he took together what Icarus had said and nodded."Pretty sure that's correct, David said, he thought a bit more and finally came out with his idea."Maybe it's somewhere northwest written in one of the stone walls of the stores, is that possible?"David had said, turning his head a bit in thought. He didn't know what else to say or do, he read it one more time and handed it to Icarus to see what he'd say about it. But in all honesty, he was pretty sure Paris could figure it out. She seemed to be kind of smart, through all that snottiness."Once you're done reading it, Icarus give it to Paris.David had said, he wanted to make sure everyone got to read it and give out their own ideas.

Trevor Lewis

Trevor strained his ears to hear anything of what the other tributes were saying. Some little girl was there, apparently a mutt, but she was asking for help? Normally Trevor would ring the alarm bell for a trap, but this seemed too elaborate for just a trap. Having some clue they were trying to figure out? The two were suggesting something about a tower, and going north. While he wasn't sure if he could trust any of these tributes enough to reveal himself without getting slaughtered, he knew if they were getting clues from the Gamemakers, he wanted to know what was at the end of the trail. Stealth wasn't always his strong suit, but that would have to be his gameplan for the time being.

The note had flown away out of David's hand and off too far into the distance for them to see, so they weren't going to retrieve it. "My name?" The girl asked and tilted her head and thought for a moment. "Serenity." She said smiling and then she saw the paper fly away, "it's alright I know it word for word, but follow me! I know where I last saw it!" She said and then began to run off towards Town square.

As for Trevor soon enough the note flew up behind him, and he was able to catch it and read it, maybe he could make better sense out of it.

Arisu bent down and smiled to Serenity, "And I'm Arisu! And that's David, Icarus, and Paris. Nice to meet you!" She pointed to the people one by one, catching Paris' name when David called out to her. Arisu stood straight up, turning to the rest of the people and pouted as the ideas began being thrown out. "Cylinder shape is the hard part.." She swung back to Serenity when the little girl said that she knew where to go. Arisu glanced to the rest and shrugged and she jogged off to catch up with Serenity, "Ahhh, wait up!"

Paris exhaled as she watched the paper fly out of their hands, leaving whatever riddle it contained unsolved. She wasn't sure about which way to go, with the happy go lucky girls, or the guys. She honestly trusted the females more at this point, despite what alliance agreements she had made previously. "Well, I'm going with them," she told the group. After speaking, she jogged after the pair in hopes of catching up.

Icarus pulled out his sword, he wanted to be prepared in case of an ambush or trap. Alice and Paris were already on their way following the girl, who had introduced herself as Serenity. Icarus hoped her name matched her personality. They walked in the direction that Icarus said was North West, hoping he was going the right way.

David had been in a good mood recently, and he liked it that way. He didn't really like being angry because of the things he could/may do when he's mad may make people dislike him, not that anyone doesn't like him already. The teenager listened to the young girl/mutt that apparently was named Serenity, he liked the name. It reminded him of music, in an odd way. The male saw the paper fly away and grumbled, there goes their only chance. Wait, nevermind. Serenity had said she knew where she had saw it last and to follow her. He guessed that since the others had left him he should join along, so he jogged off with them. "Hey, wait up!" David said as he tried to catch up with the group.

Trevor read over the note, not really knowing what to make of it. Stone cylinders? Where could he find those? Instead of going into brainstorm mode, he shifted his attention back to the other group, with the little girl. The girl had bound off, with the other tributes following her. They seemed to be heading back in the direction of the cornucopia. Making his decision, Trevor shoved the note in his pocket for future reference and headed back through the alleys he'd come from, to get back to the Town Square where they'd began, and see what was going on with this thing.
