Set Our Future Free

Nate ran and came to a place much different than the desert. This area was storming. Thunder and lighting with pouring rain. Nate was so blinded by the weather that he almost didn't see the large cliff in front of him. He slid to a stop just a few inches from sudden death. He backed up slowly. His breath was fogging up his glasses and he was unsure what to do. He stood up and gazed down. Where was there to go?

The sword slashed Nate's other leg, which had previously been one of the few body parts that remained undamaged. He collapsed, no longer able to support his own weight. This was it, Nate could feel it. The end, the finale, soon it would all be over.... Had it been worth it at all? Had he done anything worth remembering?

Tears filled his eyes. He pushed his torso up a bit and crawled through the mud towards Anima. He grasped her leg and began sobbing. "Please... Please, juts give me a chance. I could help.... let me live! I just want to go home!"

(Due to the fact I know Pale Sea Cow, does not wish to block the attack and that Ari has asked me to kill her, my gm post is valid, especially since Gazimu knows of me doing this already.)

Nate had fallen to his death at that last fatal blow from Anima, the cannon had signaled off, but karma was going to have it's way with Anima, a mutt had come up swiftly behind her stabbed her through the lower back and out through the stomach and out again as it had swiftly gone as it had come. Anima sunken down to her knees left to be there and bleed out, but was a bit loopy, she had little elves sparked from her own imagination taunting her and running off, chasing them while bleeding out she hit a tree hard, which pretty much did it for her and a second cannon went off.

Like a knife through hot butter Anima brought her sword down cutting off Nate's right arm. He screamed in pain and terror as the blood shot from where his limb had just been. He fell backward supporting his weight with his left arm. Time slowed down and he looked up at the girl. He read nothing of humanity in her at all.

Nate knew he was screaming but there was no sound, only silence. Like a dream state his slowed vision crept to where his arm lay. He could see it, laying lifeless, detached from his body. He backed up, trying to escape the horror, but Nate forgot one thing: the cliff. With one last movement he placed his left arm too far back and slipped where the ground ended. His body fell backward and tumbled in mid air. The last thing Nate saw was the girl staring at him over the cliff, no soul in her eyes. She shrunk to the size of pin top and then the rain on Nate's glasses covered the view. There was slight ringing in Nate's ears as he heard one last gasp of breath escape him. Darkness......
