Zeke Rails was reaped just hours earlier. He didn't talk much before or after that. All he could think about was that his brother and his rivalry would be over. If he won or died. After sharing the love with his father, brother Damien, and his other siblings, it was finally time to leave. Leave district four. Leave all those people he wanted to see have justice. All the people he was friends with. All the people he will forever be friends with.  As he got into the truck to head to the train, he saw all the people he never even knew. Waving, cheering him on. It really gave him some pride. The games were not for himself, it was for his conscience.

Now, Zeke was at the train station, just a few yards away from saying goodbye, possibly forever. The cheers still rolled on for him and his district partner. He eagerly screamed his party scream and waved goodbye. "Possibly forever. But I'll make you guys proud, don't worry." He said, walking in to the bullet train. Zeke traveled through the car doors all the way to the Bar car. I wonder if they have Poker or Darts here.. that would be fun. Practicing poking eyeballs out. The boy thought as he surveyed the room. Zeke knew he'd probably spend the most time here, but with no Poker or Darts, he decided to walk away. He traveled down cars and cars until he managed to find the bedroom at the very end. He unbuttoned his shirt and threw it off. All that remained were his dress pants and a muscle shirt, and his hiking boots. His hiking boots were his best good luck charm.

Zeke stared at the ceiling, speechless. There were twenty-three other people who would have to die if Zeke were to win. Not that he would ever care, but he was just playing his odds. He closed his eyes and started to picture the Capitol. All the people there would most likely have horrid fashion that would be hard to ignore. Zeke would have to live with that for a week, probably not likely to happen. Zeke stretched out on his bed, and started to sleep.

If you wanna, just wake him up Razz

oceania wave

Oceania slowly stepped up the stairs of the train. She was a career; she wasn't supposed to be afraid of the Games. Though, she was. She stepped through each of the cars, only because she hasn't run into her mentor, nor her partner. Her naturally long eyelashes blinked a few times before looking down at her appearance. The future tribute was dressed plainly; she had a dark gray tank top on with a light gray camisole underneath, denim shorts, and of course, her feet were hugged by her black sneakers. Her hair was in it's natural state: straight. Oceania was a laid-back type of person, so what could you expect?

Oceania held her breath (which she was good at) and swiftly slid her hands into her back pockets of her shorts, and sighed in relief when her right hand came into contact with her token: a blue marble that she found back home one day. It reminded her of her best friend that had passed in the Games, but she didn't want to bring back those memories. She removed her hands from her pockets and continued walking down the cars.

Still no sign of anyone. The girl found it weird, but she shrugged her shoulders as she walked into the tightly-packed hallway, where she guessed the bedrooms were. She looked at the plaques next to the doors at the end. One was marked as Zeke Rails, the name was familiar, yet unfamiliar. She decided it would be best not to go in, atleast not yet. She walked through her door, and gasped at the appearance inside. The walls were a creme color, and her bed was dressed with gold and light blue blankets and pillows. She looked to the sides and stared in amazement at the mahogany dresser and nightstand.

Oceania took a few steps forward, but snapped her view back at the closing door. She blinked awkwardly before sitting on her bed. She looked around the room in awe; her house at home was fancy, but not this fancy. Above her head hung a small, golden chandelier, which topped off the final appearance of the room. She stood, feeling her sticky skin from the humidity of Four and her small nervous sweating from the Reapings. Oceania looked in the direction of the bathroom across from her. She walked carefully inside, shutting the door behind her. Once her clothes were in a pile next to her, she turned on the shower. Once it was the right temperature, she hopped in and sighed at the feeling of the warm water against her skin.

Once done washing her hair and self, she slipped out of the shower and dried off. She redressed in her Reaping clothes, and sat on her bed, drying her hair.

Ben made his way through the train towards the bedrooms, which he'd seen both of his tributes going to beforehand. He hadn't greeted or made his presence known to either of them when he saw them, instead waiting so he could greet them together. Whistling calmly, he made his way to each of their doors, slamming matching notes on both doors loudly enough to get their attention, and then swiftly exited the train car and headed to the lounge car, where the notes requested the tributes come. Ben let himself fall on to one of the plush couches that wrapped its way along the length of the car on either side, only disconnected at the ends on either side of the car to make walking space to the doors between the cars. A table with a few bottles of assorted juices and a bowl with some powdered doughnuts was all that was inside this room. Ben liked it, there were few distractions for the tributes, and admittedly, for himself.

As Zeke woke up, he heard a slamming on his bedroom door. It startled him a bit, but he didn't really freak out. Opening the door, he looked to see what was there. A note. It talked about meeting in the lounge car. Zeke shrugged, fixing up his hair. Was it his district partner, mentor, or someone who wanted to play a prank on him. None of those choices were going to stop him from going over there. Zeke liked the part of the games where you hear everyone else's strategies so you could make one your own.

As Zeke got in to the lounge car, there was a long couch, a few drinks and doughnuts. Simple enough to have a nice good talk. And there was a man, probably his mentor, sitting on the couch. "Hey." He said, sitting down a few yards away from the mentor. "You're the mentor, I'm guessing?" Zeke asked.

Oceania jolted in place on her bed as a slamming noise came form her door. She raised an eyebrow, thinking if someone was drunk or just angry with her; even though the latter would be nearly impossible, she never met her mentor or partner yet. She stood up, hung her towel in the bathroom, and exited her room. She turned as she made her way into the hallway, as something on her door caught her eye. A note? To meet in the lounge car? Oceania shrugged her shoulders and walked down the hallway and cars.

Once in the car, she ran a hand through her hair and looked up to find two figures in the room with her. She looked to the older-appearing male; she presumed he was her mentor. The other, a fairly attractive boy, caught her attention for a few moments before she looked back to her mentor.

"Hi," the girl's voice cracked as she spoke awkwardly. She didn't want to embarass herself infront of these two people that could save her life in the arena. Oceania bit her lower lip with her top teeth and shifted her stance to the other foot.

Way to make conversation, she thought to herself as her eyes shifted to the array of foods and drinks scattered across the tables. She picked up the pitcher, which she assumed was water, and poured a glass. She cautiously took a sip, setting down the pitcher.

Smiling slightly, Ben greeted his two tributes, who'd both arrived in the lounge car like clockwork, only moments apart. "Yep" I said, responding mainly to the boy's question, but addressing the both of them, "I'm Ben, your mentor for this trip, which admittedly isn't a very fun trip to be on, but I'll do my best to be helpful and keep things light when I can" he gave them both a reassuring grin and poured himself a glass of orange juice. He was honestly trying to keep his drinking to a minimum on this trip, but it was a big adjustment, so usually having a glass of something in his hands was enough to occupy those urges.

Zeke wasn't aware of the other tribute, the girl tribute, walking in. "Its good to know that you're not one of those mentors who just let their tributes die. Those are usually the ones who die in the bloodbath." He said, staring at the mentor. "So. I just have one question, totally unrelated to the Hunger Games. Did you know that if you poke a hole out of these doughnuts you can make mini-doughnuts? I call dibs on inventing them. They shall be doughnut holes."
