Gemma blocked the attack as best as she could and then she twirled her dagger hurdling it at the cougar wanted to kill it now, and she tried to work with force, she wanted to sleep and then find some food.

Geoffrey pouted at the cougar. He attempted to shield Gemma from the cougar's claws with his knives, and attacked the cougar again. "Come on, buddy, just give it up." He sighed, hoping the cougar would die soon for both of their sakes. Life without a twin was no fun at all.

The cougar readied another attack, this time aiming at Geoffrey as it seemed to be going inbetween the two twins as best as it could.

Geoffrey whirled away from the cougar. "Hey!" he scolded, "No bitey-scratchies! Bad kitty!" He pursed his lips and slashed at the cougar with his knife. "You can't just go abandoning manners. Sheesh." Geoffrey knew if Gemma died he would have a similar reaction, but the cougar didn't have to know that. It clearly wasn't helping to try and make friends with it, so he automatically returned to his default reaction of destroy, destroy, destroy.

Gemma soon, was getting mad, and sleepy more so, she was exhausted but she needed to keep fighting. Gemma took a deep breath in and calmed herself, and she soon began to try and deflect the attack on her brother, and then used her knife with force and velocity striking down on the beast ad she was hoping to cut it, she wanted to dig the blade deep into the cougar's fur and she wanted to skin the animal and use it's meat for food, and organs to burn for a sacrifice. She then wanted to do some taxidermy and she started giggling with all the thoughts swirling around in her head. "Brilliant ideas are forming in my head Geoffy!" She said.

Geoffrey grinned at Gemma and threw one of his knives at the cougar, hoping to retrieve it later. "Hey big boy," he called, "or girl, or whatever. I lost track. Big cougar, then. Anyway, how would you feel about being made into a fabulous cougar-headed cape?" He squinted at it and tried to block the attack on Gemma. "OOH! I know! We could hang your bladder and stomach from a tree and set them on fire like lanterns!" He smiled brightly and clapped his hands. "Wouldn't that be pretty?"

Gemma giggled at all of Geoff's words she was very excited now, and then she nodded a thanks to her brother who had blocked for her. She grabbed her knives and then she twirled it and made a downward arc at the cougar using force to drive the dagger.

The cougar howled mournfully, the same way it did when it's twin had died too.

Geoff's face broke out in a bright smile as the cougar died. "GO GEMMA!" he cheered, dancing around in a circle. "Oh, this will be just lovely for some arts and crafts." He knelt close to the cougar and patted it on the head. "Sorry, buddy. But you'll make a lovely cloak, or maybe a bladder balloon!" He giggled and flailed around excitedly. "Yayy!"

Gemma grinned, she had finally killed something and she was very excited and she was jumping up and down giggling. "Ooh this is so exciting Geoff!" She grinned. "Geoffy! we can each have our own cloak and we can use this animal blood for war paint and masking our scent and stuff!" She said beaming with excitement and you could tell she was truly happy. She bent down to the female cougar and she began on trying to skin the female. "You can try skinning the male!" she exclaimed.

the skin came off easy enough. From the distance, the twins could feel a couple of small tremors towards the bottom of the mountain.

Deluna continued up her path, finding herself soon closer to the top of the mountain. She wasn't sure if she had made the right choice to venture up here, but now she noticed the spring. Her icy eyes scanned the perimeter, finding something she had been trying to avoid. People. Tributes. People who wanted her dead.

Feeling her heart race, the girl tried to stay hidden and away from the people who could see her. If she was correct, the twins from district six could soon be the death of her.

Geoff approached the cougar's lifeless body and lifted it by the neck so Gemma could skin it more easily. "I'm so exciiitted!" he said in a sing-song voice. "Cougar capes are the epitome of fashion. Anybody who's anybody knows that." He winked at the dead cougar, giddy over the expectation of such a fabulous cloak, when suddenly something seemed to change in him. "THE PANTS!" he gasped, leaning in to whisper in Gemma's ear. "I can sense them..." Geoff got a crazy look in his eye and flailed his arms around. "I CAN SENSE THE PANTS!" Geoffrey remembered back in the forest, and wondered if the Turner Lamp could sense its brother. ~~He figured he probably had just heard something and could smell the evidence that it may have been something like his pants, but sensing the pants was a far more fun thing to say.~~ He looked around, trying to see if somebody was there, half of him feverishly hoping it was just a haunted, disembodied pair of soiled pants.

Gemma continued to skin the other cougar while she put the other skin aside. She was looking forward to their capes, and then she heard Geoff talking. "Shh someone might hear you." Gemma didn't care but she didn't want to be caught off guard while she was skinning the cougars.

the area was wide open, with only a few caves to offer a slight amount of protection.

Deluna looked over at some caves, not that far off. She also glanced the twins, skinning their cougars. The sight was rather gory, and disgusting to the tribute, who hadn't seen much blood throughout the games so far. She heard them talking, and wondered if she could make it to the caves without being spotted. The girl didn't really want to die at the hand of crazy twins, but she had to try and move.

Slowly standing, Deluna moved towards the cave. She tried to make sure that she wouldn't step on any twigs or leave to distract the twins from their skinning.

Geoffrey pouted a bit but did not hold Gemma in even the slightest contempt for dismissing his wild notion of sensing the pants. Making a fabulous cougar cape was of the utmost He bobbed his head back and forth. "Sorry, Gem, I'll shut up," he giggled quietly, bobbing his head back and forth. He pointed at a place near the cougar's underbelly. "Careful 'round this part, pleeeaase. I want to make bladder lanterns!" He grinned. "Or balloons or containers or something. Can't have a balloon with a nick in it, can you? Well, I mean, you could, but it'd be pretty useless. I should stop talking, huh?" he mused, and shut his mouth, resisting the urge to ramble on and on about how excited he was and how he wondered what cougar meat tasted like and what temperature it should be cooked at and how to control temperature on a fire and if they could make a fire or if they already had and he'd forgotten. He hoped he could make a bladder lantern, paint it reddish with the cougar's blood, light something inside it on fire, and hang it from the cave so it would glow in the dark and make orangey-red light flicker across the cave walls like hellfire. Are bladders flammable? he wondered. That would put me at a serious disadvantage for making a lantern out of one...

Gemma had been finishing up with the cougar skin and she made note of what Geoff was saying. She soon pushed the meaty carcass over to Geoff and then she worked on putting holes in the cougar skin and she pulled a boot out and took the string to fashion a rope for their capes.once she was done that she put her cape on and set Geoff's down next to him. Soon she found a gash she had made on the female cougar and she cut deeper an widened the cut. She dipped her fingers into the blood and started to streak it onto her face and hands, coating her scent from other mutts now. Whether it worked or not she didn't know, she just hoped.

That was when Gemma's thoughts had gone to what Geoff had said earlier about sensing the pants. "Geoff, did you say something about sensing the pants earlier?" She asked she was a bit alarmed now, and if Geoff felt it there was possibility that someone was around their area, whether they were close or not, no one knew. Gemma gripped her knife tighter. "Should be on your guard, while you mess with the vital organs of the cougar." She said. Gemma was wary for now and she would keep her hears open and soon was no longer having her back face the opening of the cave. She wanted to be able to see too.

While Geoffrey had bewn distractes Deluna got closer to the two, but not before being spotted by the now alert Gemma. There was nowhere really to hide for Deluna as everything was out in tthe open.

Deluna didn't think the male could see her, but the girl most likely could. Oops. She had to get out of here, now. Before the twins decided to skin her as well. Personally, she didn't think that her pale skin would compliment either of the twins' eyes.
