| Glyph stood there dumbstruck. What the hell was this kids problem? A little enthusiastic? I mean only one of us will be walking out at the end, and he is smiling and flirting? Glyph watched how he tried to pretend he didn't know the weapons and smirked, if that's how you want to play go ahead. "No, I've never thrown the Javelin before..." Glyph ran a hand through his hair and watched the two converse, and smiled. No matter how strange the kid was, he was smooth and smart. Glyph breathed, usually he was that smooth. "Well Catelyn you can't just use one throw to dictate you ability in that area. Now if you can replicate that trick, I'll be impressed." Glyph decided he didn't need to impress Catelyn, because she was a girl, but Geoffrey wasn't hard on the eyes, at all. Like at all, at all. He breathed and looked to the side just waiting for something to happen. | |

| She looked up with ferocious look in her eye. "Oh, really?" She asked. She grabbed an axe. She started walking backwards than suddenly swerved around and threw the axe. She grinned. Bullseye. It hit the heart. "So what was that?" | |

| "well that just proves that you have had training. but isn't that like against the rules? And can get your family in trouble?" Glyph said smirking. He picked up two of his own knives and threw them, throwing the left hand first, spinning around and hitting the third. Looking at his handy work, the right thrown knife had hit the shoulder but the let had hit the bulls eye dead on. "Eh, needs a little work on my right side, but so far I'm doing pretty good. I mean I doubt I can do it in a panicky minute." Glyph sighed. | |

| Geoffrey was pleased with the reactions to his flirting. "So you like to do things that are against the rules, eh?" he teased. "Naughty, naughty." He watched carefully as Catelyn hit the dummy in the heart with her axe and made a mental note of it. Girl from 10 is proficient with axes and knives. May also apply to other similar long-distance weapons. Glyphie here seems to know how to handle a knife as well. Hmmm..."I'd say it's fairly impressive," he said with a smirk, "but I'm not exactly blown away. As for you, Glyphie, not bad either. Not bad at all." He winked at the boy and picked up a javelin, hurling it at a dummy a little further away, where it stuck in the stomach. "I guess I'm not really one to judge, though, huh?" He chuckled, tossing a few knives at a target without looking, where one missed completely, one hit in an outer ring, and one hit extremely near to the center. Geoffrey looked surprised. "I guess I should get some practice in with these so I'm not completely useless in the Games." He grabbed another, aiming for real this time and sending it spinning towards the middle of the target, then went for proficiency over accuracy and nailed three right next to each-other in the corner. "Yay!" He clapped his hands together. "Beginner's luck?" |

| Catelyn smiled. "Sure," She said. She decided to grab a bow. She pulled the string back. And shot. It flew and hit the ribcage. "Thats.. Okay..." She said. She short again. It hit closer to the heart. She was gone for now. She left. "Baii now" | |

| "Well that was... Interesting. And beginners luck my butt. I've been practicing all Day. Literally Some kid just showed me how to do this, this morning." Did he just wink at him. Glyph couldn't get distracted, no matter how much he wanted it to be true, there was no bet that he would come out alive at the end of this, especially if he started to fall for the competition. With Half a mind to wink back, Glyph just stood there and watched Geoffrey throw a Javelin, It seemed he knew what he was doing, but in a slight casual way. He made small mistakes that even Glyph could tell. Well Glyph was an Architect, so he could construct things with his mind. Suddenly he had a thought, Why the hell not play with emotions? Even if they just ended up friends, its better to go in together than die alone.
With Feet planted at square shoulder width apart, he moved forward to help Geoffrey throw a Javelin Correctly. He stood behind him, His just barely touching Geoffrey's back near the bottom part of his chest. Now that Glyph was close he could see he was about 4 inches taller, which gave him a longer reach. Placing his hands on top of Geoffrey's to show him how to hold the weapon, he breathed in deep and could feel his body expanding into Geoffrey's back. Glyph gave a hidden smile, Two can play at the manipulation game. He helped Geoffrey get the right handling on the staff, but then stepped away to grab his own, to show him the proper execution. He sent if hard and fast, Hearing a sickening thud as it hit the body through the neck piece. Glyph saw that the tip pierced the other side, but that's what you get when you throw it in the thinnest place. And just to play a long, Glyph threw in his own little wink towards his competitor. No matter how this day ended up, no matter how much training his parent paid for, He knew that Geoffrey is better. Chances are, he'd probably stab in the back first chance he got. | |

| Geoffrey subdued his initial reaction of violence when Glyph brought his arms around him to show him how to use the javelin in what was obviously a flirtatious manner. He smiled for the billionth time that day. He knew Glyph wasn't exactly about to proclaim is undying love and support and lay down his life for him or anything, but any unrequited attachment, or at least one that he could force himself to ignore, was an advantage in the games. "Wow, you're really strong. Where'd you learn to throw a javelin like that, huh?" he laughed, not making any apparent physical effort to escape Glyph's embrace, but formulating plenty of ways to do so in his mind if he needed. Geoffrey picked up a javelin to the side and narrowed his eyes. He relaxed the muscles in his right shoulder, lifted his right arm above his head with his elbow pointed forward, and made sure to keep the metal tip slightly pointed down. He would usually get a bit of a running start for more momentum, but this was too good of an opportunity to throw away. He let his arm fall back slightly, keeping his head forward and his hips at a right angle, then switched his feet and lunged forward, releasing the javelin as he swung his arm in an upward arch toward the target at the highest point. The javelin flew through the air and went straight into the heart of a dummy a few feet further than the last one. He smirked, and turned around half way so he could look up at Glyph. "Better?" |

| "much." said Glyph, he watched as Geoffrey threw his Javelin. He smiled at his probing questions, "well, my family put me through training, however I'm better with close combat. And killing doesn't scare me. I'm... I'm just different from most guys and well almost anyone actually. Different from you, so why'd you pretend differently??" spoke Glyph. He looked around wishing he had kept his mouth shut on the last part, but the words just tumbled out uncontrollably. He sighed, even if he knew that if was a forced likeness about him, he'd rather have that than none at all. Glyph screwed up pretty freaking bad didn't he... | |
