Swan, attempted to attack once more, weakly, almost faintly... She didn't manage. Summer had given her a very bad stab with her arrows, and the duty to finish her off, rested on my shoulders. It would be the second one...I remembered still, the blood sprung around by that tribute in the Cornucopia. I didn't even remember how he/she looked like, but every night, blood was sprung around in my nightmaries.

I blinked, but determingly walked forward. " it can only be one of us" I thought, and closed my eyes for a moment, to block as many sensesations of this, as I could. As Swan begged for her life, I moved my hands in a single move, holding tightly the blade of my sword. I pinned my sword on her...

I knew, I might not be safe still. I was badly injured, and I had an other fight to give, sooner or later. I stepped back looking at Summer, as the wind blew furiously and lightings were strucking around.

Summer watches as Kira once again tries to hit Swan for a kill. She can't tell if Kira hit her or not,but Summer doesn't care all that much. Summer loads an arrow as she watches the two tributes in front of her, just like how she arrived to the pond. The tribute clears her throat harshly, for her throat is rough and dry. She notices the lightning closing in on the tributes and herself. She notices Kira looking at Summer, almost asking what now? She pulls the arrow back inch by inch, trying to be discrete on her actions. Summer looks at the pond once again, almost deciding whether to fill her supply or not...

Summer tightens her grips on both the notched arrow and her bow handle. Summer swallows hard, thinking about the pond and Swan. The wind whirls around Summer, almost encouraging her to make a move just like it was for Thomas before he attacked Jennifer. Where is Jennifer? Summer was going to look for her, after all. But alas, she ran into Swan and Kira. Summer raises her bow, pulls back the arrow, and shoots at Kira. "I got the advantage," the girl from Seven devilishly whispers to herself. Summer backs up once again, looking for a maybe-necessary way out of the area.

Swan tried to dodge both of the girls' attacks, but wasn't honestly expecting much out of it. She was gone like the wind, her hope, and the chance of ever returning home. She wasn't going home. Maybe whatever was left of her would, but she wouldn't. Never again would she see her bother's face, or her little baby sister's smile. It was all gone.

"Well, my most sincere apologies to the both of you -" she started, before coughing again, as the wind pushed her down. She tried for a weak attempt at stabbing the first girl (Kira), but knew it was no use. Nothing was of use anymore. The once confident and smiling career had been slashed to a peasant using a stick as a weapon. A stick. A pathetic stick. Maybe she wasn't so high and mighty after all, and to think it took til her death to realize it. She was a fraud.

So who did she want to win? Swan didn't really know, but she knew it wasn't going to be her wearing the victor's crown. Nothing could save her now.

Everything stopped. Everything, came slowly and softly. I turned, and couln't stop a silent scream come out of my mouth once I saw Summer aiming me. I thought there was more time... I swang my sword, in a desperenate attempt to block it away, but then, Swan hit me. Everything blured... I could see my self, as if I was standing, in a distance far away. I saw me yelling something meaning-less while I swang my sword furiously at Swan, hoping to rip her life. I then turned to Summer, ready to knee, ready to beg... But I was certain I wouldn't do so to waste my last moments with such a pittyful way. Inside me, I fought hard not to give up. The few strength there was, had abandoned me slowly.
Making an hyperhumanly attempt, to pin my sword onto Summer... I still knew, I wasn't gone, I was still alive. And what I needed truly, was that medkit I saw hanging on Summer...I would get it or die trying...

Summer quickly notices Kira trying to lay her sword on her. Summer tries to grab the blade without getting stabbed, and forcefully pushes it back into Kira. Hopefully it was a good death-blow, but she didn't know. The tribute then notices Kira going for her backpack... Her water? Her rope? Or her medkit? The Medkit! Summer thinks to herself. "Oh, you want this?" Summer screams to Kira sarcastically. "You can't get it if I kill you!" She wants Kira to tire herself out so hopefully Summer can kill her for once and for all.

Summer quickly grabs her water while Kira's distracted, and puts a small drop on her dry, rough tongue. She looks into the bottle, seeing about three quarters left in her supply. Once you kill Kira, you can have as much water as you please! the girl from Seven thinks to herself. Summer hisses at Kira, trying to throw the girl in front of her off guard. She loads another arrow just in case while she watches Kira.

Swan watched as Kira tried attacking Summer. Was she going against her now? The tribute couldn't really tell, everything was a little fuzzy and bright. She thought lightning was striking around her, but she couldn't be sure. Maybe she could be allies with Summer... or something.

She attacked Kira, hoping for a kit to end her once and for all. She was getting annoyed with the girl's skill, and hoped that she wouldn't be the next to die. Eventually, yes, she would. This was obvious to her. Yet, Swan wouldn't go down without a fight. The girl would use whatever strength she had left to go towards something. She glanced at Summer, just trying to tell her that she wanted to be on the same side, if they ever could be. Maybe.

A throng of thorns were pulled off of a bush by the wind, they sailed through the air and punctured into the skin of Summer, knocking the wind out of her.

Summer's caught off-guard by Swan asking her to be allies through a look, just as a vine of thorns come shooting from a bush. "AGH!" Summer screams as she untangles the vines from her body, seeing a bunch of small wounds. This new attack makes her infuriated. She runs up to Kira and tries to grab the sword right from her hands. Summer can't tell if she got the sword or not, but she tries to snap it in half so it can't be used anymore. Dried blood from the Feast still remains on her face. She blows her hair covering up her eyes as she tries to see if Kira's sword is on the ground or not. Her attack missed, so Summer runs to her lost arrow and collects it with her others.

Summer aggrivatedly shoves her arrow back into her quiver. She wanted to get out of here, fast. "Maybe, Livestock!" Summer yells to Swan, referring to Swan asking Summer to be allies. Summer backs up once again, getting closer to the pond. Summer quickly bends down and takes a big gulp of water. There weren't any fish swimming in the pond. They probably dried up... Summer thinks to herself. Summer stands up, and loads an arrow into her golden bow. She backs up, past the pond, almost eager to leave.

OCC: Moon, I think Swan is dead... I attacked her in the previous page, -20.
OCC: deleted my message, and re-posted it to add the heal, in case I'm allowed to do so...
Bic: I was hardly making it, but I attempted to grab that medkit once I saw it hanging on the bag. I was holding it on my hands for a while...
OCC:[can't say I drank it since a gm has to decide on that right? or can I?]
Bic:I was astonished to see Summer getting hurt by something. Was there another tribute? I dared not to look. I held my sword tight, not letting her take it from me.

I then turned back, and furiously attacked on Summer, with what was left for me. I wanted to end her, just like the other tribute. It wasn't something inside me that faithed me to kill, but my own self-defense and protection. I had to go back, I had to survive... Winning wasn't never important to me... Only my life! I tried to kick her down, not to do any serious damage on her, but to make her loose control and let her bow of her hands.
I would kick it as well, to the pond if I managed.

Swan fell to the ground from Kira's last attack, suddenly overcome by the pain

(Swan is in fact dead as she did not attempt to block the -20, and Kira cannot heal during battle)

Swan smiled slightly at Summer's response, maybe there was hope. For now. Maybe just. Then she felt the pain in her body swell to a new extent, taking on an unbearable toll. Her wounds were sticky with blood that wasn't stopping and she felt her body going numb. This was indeed the end.

The remains of Swan Belaire hit the ground with a thump, her blue eyes staring into the sky blankly. No one would ever here from her again, or remember her name. Why would they? All she had ever tried to achieve was lost and gone now. Hopeless, and done. Dead really. Blonde hair was matted and tangled, splayed around her randomly. You could tell she wasn't comfortable, but no one would care. She was dead, and wouldn't be missed.

occ: I was confused by that attack and thought it was for Summer, so I didn't have her try to block it... but okay I guess. Good Luck guys ^^.

Summer finds Swan's death some what close to her... She didn't know why... Maybe because she didn't kill Kira in time for Swan to be killed off by Kira. She quickly does a backflip through the air, trying to dogde Kira's attack to her. She pulls back an arrow when she lands safely, and releases it, sending it hopefully into Kira's flesh. Preston! Summer thinks to herself as she thinks about her partner. Cai and Amaya are probably near death, maybe just like Preston.

Summer narrows her eyes at Kira. She can't block every attack, could she? "What's wrong with you?!" the tribute from Seven hisses to Kira. "Why can't you die already?!" She runs up to Kira and pulls the arrow back to her quiver. Kira only has a sword, and Summer has 56 or 57 arrows. Plus, she has about 26 times more health than Kira. She just wanted to finish her, so she could maybe go save Preston for a while.

I once more decide not to answer to her. I'm ready to block her attack the way I best can, but she misses me for a little while. I step back, I breath shortly, and look at Swan's dead body laying on the ground, feeling this happened because of me... I'm ready to cry, but my courage keeps me from getting into any harsh emotions. I still got a battle, that I didn't expect in the beggining.

I observe Summer for a little while, its a seconds pause, but I quickly consider my self, stealing that medkit... I know I might not manage to stay alive though. I jump on the air, and attempting to stab her, I fall on the ground nearby her backbag, and attempt to get the medkit out, and anything else that my hands grab on that very moment of worry.

The Medkit is pulled out of Summer's hands by Kira, who staggers to her feet, picking up her knife, which she hadn't put enough force into to stab Summer

I yelp as Kira steals the medkit from me. I yank the bag free from her hands and put the straps back on. "Won't be much use for that once you're dead!" she screams to the girl from Five. She pulls back one of her golden arrows on her thin, white bowstring notch. She releases the arrow, trying to let it meet itself once more with Kira. Summer runs up to Kira and yanks the arrow free from her. She loads it back into her bow. "Just be dead, please!" She snarls at Kira. She was soon enough getting sick of this girl.

Summer now thought about the tributes left. Just as she thought about Preston, she looked up as the anthem blared. The way too familiar face was up in the sky. "NO!" the tribute screams. She feels liquid streaming down her face. Not blood, but tears. Hot, sticky tears. Preston was the only one she had left. Who she could trust. She then knew for a fact that she would try her hardest to win for him. And Swan. And Thomas and Jennifer. And any other boy or girl who had to die. She took a deep breath, hoping that the attack made it to Kira.

I walked backwards, to avoid her arrow, but there was no need since she failed to hit me. The sign of Capitol, appeared, blaring on the wide blue sky, there was the face of the boy from district one. I couldn't stand to look. As I gradually, fully realised, that 20 people had died, and I was still alive...

I wouldn't stop though, I would do anything there was to be done, just to survive. Pitty was only one word, of the thousands that could describe my feelings on the condition I was...And I couldn't escape from them... As I heard the cannon, booming day by day, as I counted the dead, considering my self lucky.

As I recalled my mother's wide open hug, with her warm and always smile, and my dad, with his bright eyes, looking at me, with proud. He would boast of it, he would say I won it all... But I would be the one to keep listening to the cannon as if it still makes sound...I will be the one to suffer my entire life of nightmaries.

As these thoughts haunt my mind, I force them to go away, and concentrate back to my only hope and choise. To LIVE!!! Summer can't just faith me to die or let her kill me. I attack on her, keeping the silence. Now that I have her medkit, I only have to stay alive. But I hesitate, should I have to dye my hands with her blood as well? Maybe she could lieave, maybe I could let her go... or I should be going. But with this furious storm, I doupt it would be a good choise rather than a suicide. Lightings strucking around...

Summer lets Kira's now-weak sword hit her. She snickers, preparing to speak to Kira now. "We all didn't have to die, you know. This was all because f 34 years ago. Did the Districts have to rebel against the Capitol? No! They just wanted a fight, and we're in it right now. We're never leaving this fight. Never." The tribute from Seven shakes as tears stream down her face. No one really understood her anymore.

Summer hastily stands up, and walks over to Kira. "I'm sorry but, this is the time... for you, at least." Summer hisses to Kira. She tears the medkit from her hands and pushes Kira into the pond. Hopefully Summer had her footing together and managed to drown the girl.
