The pond rippled as Swan turned to attack, her vision could only make out a blur that was her opponent

I avoided her attack easily. I might be in a bad situation, but I could see that the girl, had no better luck than me. She couldn't see well around her probably, and that's what saved me for now. I didn't want to kill tributes...I didn't wanted to kill any humans after that tribute in the Cornycopia. My subconcious was after me every time I tried to sleep.

-I don't want to hurt you...I stammered. Please, I'm only here for good. Want to be my ally? I said before I could hold the words back. I had to attack back in case she didn't show any reaction to my words.

Swan roared in anger as her attack missed, by a lot. This wasn't sensible, but she didn't care. She hadn't had blood on her hands at all, and she was supposed to be capable of killing, was she not a career? "Ally?" she laughed, taking another swing at the girl.

"Look where allies left you!" she whispered, motioning to the blurred landscape. She had no idea what was going on, but she wanted to do something, and killing someone counts, right? "Allies turn on you, stupid," Swan spat, a grin floating on her face.

I felt the cold water splash on my feet. I felt even better... I decided I had to attack back though, or else I would end up laying on the ground with a thick pond of blood under my dead body. Besides, this was a nice spot, and only deserved one tribute. I blocked her attack, and kicked her back.
-I'm afraid it's done then... I said feeling I had more than a chance to beat her.
I attempted to stab her.

Swan hissed in reply as the girl blocked her attack. How dare she? The girl could tell the other tribute was close to death, now only if she was dead. She raised her stick to block the girl's attack as she stepped to the side.

The girl then stabbed again, a scowl on her face. "You're done!" she screamed, eyes wide.

I stoped, observing the pond for a while... The water was splashing all over. That kinda scared me. I didn't want another mutt to show up. A battle with sticks and sword, would be enough to make me exhausted... I turned my eyes to the sky, hoping gamakers had no such plans for me...I hoped they wanted something unexpectable for the audience to happen, such as a close to dead tribute manage to survive in the arena.

I started disliking this girl, just when she screamed into my ears. She apparently wasn't as good as I was in that. She attempted to attack back at me, but she failed. I swang my sword at her flipping it on the air.

Swan missed, again, which was to be expected at this point. She was supposed to be good, in her mind, but wasn't. The girl had convinced herself that she was superior, when really, she was still just a little farm girl. Determination could only get you so far when you lacked skills. She lacked skills, which was evident.

She felt water splashing up at her feet, like it was trying to intervene. Kicking at the splashes, she continued at her task. Kill the girl. It was the only clear thought running through her mind. Kill her. Kill. Swan swiped at her with a very inhumane grunt. She was going to succeed if it killed her.

I jumped away weakly just to avoid the fiersome attack of the girl. I chuckled slightly feeling I could manage this. I was worried about the water though, and constantly stepped further away... I swang my sword attacking her , in a way it would be difficult for her to stop me. I was testing her and compared me to her, even if I knew I wasn't in the best health condition.

Swan screamed as the girl blocked her attack, again. It seemed there was no stopping or killing of this tribute. The idea of being unstoppable was always perfect in the girl's mind, but now it seemed impossible. She was dying, and she knew it, but she wouldn't stop. She would die fighting.

"Well, well, aren't you a talented little brat?" she hissed, trying to block the girl's attack. Then she rose her pathetic stick to fight again.

I smirked. She was getting tired, and didn't seem to harm me a lot. Talking while battling is one of the worst things you can possibly do. I didn't answer to her. I didn't want to, but I knew that talking in battle means losing concentration, and self-control, and furthermore, ending on the ground, breathless.

My inner tiny happiness though, vanished when I looked around me, to see the weather changing out of the blue, the wind started blowing around us, and I saw lighting. I bit my bottom lip nervously, and stepped back.

Hesitating I attempted to block the tribute that was attacking me, but before I can do anything, she swang her sword missing me. I attacked back hoping this would end soon, and that I wouldn't be the one losing.

Summer stumbled up the hill to get to the Freshwater Pond. She needed to refresh her thirst amounts. She immediately stopped herself as she sees two tributes fighting. She recognizes one as Swan from 10 and the other as Kira from 5. She looked between the two, almost deciding who to attack. She looks to Swan, then Kira. Summer pulls an arrow from her quiver and notches it onto her bowstring. her three fingers grasp the arrow butt harshly as she pulls back the arrow. The tribute aims at the girl in front of her. She closes her eyes, and prays silently to herself as she releases the arrow. The girl retreives her arrow hastily from the girl she shot it at and she quickly backs herself up, just in case she needs to run from the battle now.

Swan tried to block the girl's attack again. She forgot what she was fighting for. Why was she even here? To bring honor to her district? She had gotten this far, top ten. Wasn't that good? She didn't know. How much longer would this go on? The tribute knew she was dying.

Another attack came, from the girl in seven. She remembered the guy from seven. Preston? Or something, she didn't remember well. She tried to dodge it, before she attacked the girl from five again. Swan looked for a way out, in case she could try and flee.

I turned as she missed me once more. There was a girl I've fought before, she didn't attack to me though, I knew she wasn't forming alliance, but I was reliefed she wasn't after me yet. I dicided to help and continued fighting Swan. I attacked on her furiously.
I was still nervour with the sormy weather though... As if gamemakers, wished for more dead than one of us...I shivered.

Summer smirks as one of the two attacks sent to Swan hits her, also when Kira sends another attack to Swan. Summer knew that Swan was going to die. She vigorously looks to Swan, preparing to attack her once again. The girl from seven then looked to Kira, recognizing her from before when she attacked her. "She's almost dead," Summer thinks to herself, referring to Kira. "I could take her out with one shot." she looks to Kira again. She gives her a sweet-but-lethal look, to give her the wrong thoughts. She wants Kira to know not to mess with her. Summer thinsk about her arrow, only having about 57 or so. Summer walks up to Swan and tries to stab Swan with one of her arrows.

Summer takes the arrow back and puts it in her quiver. "I think we killed her," the tribute from the district of lumber says to Kira. Summer then notices the lightning striking around them. Summer backs up a bit more, just in case Kira decides to make a move on her.

Swan felt an arrow go into her flesh. Biting her lip harshly, blood trickled down the side of her face. She was so close to death, it was obvious to her. She could practically feel the cold fingers on the back of her neck, threatening to tug her life force away at any moment. Whichever moment it was, it was coming soon.

"I am not dead," she attempted to reply, but it came out soft and raspy as she struck at the girl from district five. She tried to block the attack from the girl, pain radiating through her body. Swan felt like every cell on her body was on fire from fatigue and injuries. "I wouldn't have killed you guys if I didn't have to," she breathed, looking into the eyes of her killers. "I wouldn't have volunteered for this, to kill," the tribute added, coughing. "I don't ... I don't understand... why were are killing -" *cough*" only to be killed."
