| Preston stood as a mist rose the other side of the pond. This made him unsure and a bit frightened. Preston looked at T.Q. Preston wanted to leave, and he prepared to do so. Anything that looked as a threat to him, he was out of here. "You know, Thomas, I really don't want to find out what happened when that mist reaches us." Preston said, continuing a long stretch. It hurt him very much, but he didn't think that running without waking yourself up is a good idea. "With tributes scattered, it might be fond to find a single place not inhabited by other living things."He said, knowing that he meant both mutts and tributes. Preston walked down the hill he came up so shortly ago, but it feels like so long ago. Preston didn't know where his hard-worked feet would take him next, but Preston was eager to find out.

| Watching the fog, and then Preston leaving, Thomas decided it was time to head out too. Cupping his hands and raising the water to his mouth, he took another gulp of the water. Wiping his mouth, he pushed himself up. Gripping the hilt of his sword, he walked to the edge of the pond, the same side Preston had left from. Looking out, Thomas found Preston moving to the distance. Sighing, he let his feet carry him in the same direction. "Hey, wait, don't forget me!" he slightly yelled, hoping no one else would notice.
