Welcome, welcome and thank you for tuning in to this special announcement from the Capitol itself. While I know you are all patiently waiting for the next reapings and are oh so excited for the 34th Annual Games, I am not here to announce when those reapings are going to happen. But while the Gamemakers make their finishing touches on the next arena and busy attending late night meetings of top secret status we here in the Capitol have come to provide you with an event that will both entertain and challenge you! Your opponents will be some of the Capitol's finest and some of the most popular and most deadly opponents that we can think of, a trio of previous victors! The team of our finest and strongest specimens will be pit against an endless amount of enemies to see how long they can survive in 4 days of nonstop action and fighting. Do not worry though, anyone killed in this even will not really be dead. If you are killed in this event you will be brought back to life, with no cost to you at all (we may even add a few extra modifications as we see fit ;3) The names of the Victors have been chosen and decided upon and now we are moving in to the final stages of preparations. Now comes the sign ups, if you believe you are strong enough and brave enough to face our trio of victors then please step forwards and volunteer with the names of who you wish to put in. Please read below for all the rules and of course for more information on who you will be facing. The event will run from Tuesday, August 13th to Friday, August 16th!

The Rules:
• The rules of this event follow the same rules as the arena as far as combats go. You can only attack one person in one turn, you cannot attack again until someone has a turn to block, etc, etc. If you need to get a refresh on the combat rules, as well as any other things that you may need to know for your time in any arena in general then please click the handy dandy link below.

• Each member or staff member may put in up to 7 characters (as that is the limit of active characters you can have on this site). You can put in less then 7 tributes to be apart of the horde, but you may not put in more then 7. Did you also want to use a tribute who may have fallen in a previous games? Well they can count as one of your picks. Are you a previous victor who is dying to join the fight again? Well they can take up a spot as well. But know that if your once dead character is brought back for this event they go back to being dead afterwards, even if the horde wins and they do not die in the event.
• It is one tribute at a time. So you will not be putting in all of your characters at once and can only RP with one at a time, just like you can only have one tribute in the arena attached to your username at one time. So only after the first tribute you put in falls will you be able to put in your next chosen character. Choose your battle lineup wisely.
• You can bring in any combination of 2 weapons or 1 weapon and 1 shield that you want. There is no Cornucopia nor bloodbath, your characters begin with their chosen weapons as they enter the battle area.
• HP will work a little differently during this event. As you may have noticed already the chosen victors have 400hp by their names. Members of the Horde will only have 150hp as there are much more of you and only 3 victors. There will be NO healing.
• With the newest addition of the shield rules we will be using this time as a sort of trial run to see it in action, so if you choose to have a shield please take a look at the newest announcement where we discussed the shield rule below.

Now...don't be shy! Step forward and tell us if you want to join in and with which character(s) and we will add them to the list that you will see in the next post! You do not need to choose weapons and such yet, but we will need to know by the start of the event what you plan on using. Give us a nice list of the names and districts of the characters that you wish to use and we will update the list as time goes on. You have until the day of the event to add to the list but no changes can be made once it starts. All lists and members of the horde will be locked in as well as weapons chosen. Again, this event will run from Tuesday, August 13th to Friday, August 16th!
