| Raquel chuckled, patting Kaius nose as he nudged her other arm, "eat up buddy." She could feel herself getting hungry, stomach snarling for food, but hse knew she only had one left. And besides, it's not like she's never been not hungry. She knew how it felt like to be starving, and it was normal. But this was much more than usual. Raquel kept lying to herself, saying that she's fine. Kaius' fine. They're fine. She tilted her head as the dragon slipped the article of 'clothing' her held up. "So they bothered giving you guys shirts? Well that's nice," she shrugged, examining the thing and helping Kaius tighten it. Or at least tried. Pull that strap right? Uh.. Raquel yanked one side that was stuck so hard it might have just numb out his leg. "Sorry," she stuck her tongue out and quickly figured out how to loosen the damn thing. "Guess that's for almost scaring the heck outta me with your lightning," she softly pushed him from his sides, no budging him at all. "Comfy?" She walked in front of her companion, shutting an eye as she stuck both her thumb and index fingers out to portray a frame fitting Kaius in it. She nodded in satisfaction and walked back to his side. "No idea what it does but it looks good. That's a plus right?" Raquel grinned to her friend. Seems like it's going to be her only friend.
She hacked a cough before opening up her mouth, facing the sky; taking in the amount of rain water she could until her throat stopped feeling scratchy. She knew she couldn't stay here forever. Or could she? Raquel thought of that ridiculous idea to humor herself. "Ready to go? We should go explore more than just the beach. If we're gonna die, might's well check out the rest of this damn place." She turned left and right, looking for a good direction to head to, but definitely not the way the Careers had ran off to. During the search for a direction, Raquel looked up to Kaius curiously, having remembered him gliding among the clouds, "How's it like to fly? Is it fun?"

| Kaius winked at Raquel, and flicked his tail at her, sending her spiraling through the air to land on his back. He took the harness holds in his mouth and placed them in her hands, tucked her legs under the back straps, then shot off into the air. Kaius looked back at her as he flew, grinning, and tried a flip, since the harness would keep her on. |

| A huge wave sweeps out from the bay and drags Raquel out to sea. It takes a while for Kaius to grab her, and by that point she has too much water in her lungs not to drown, but they have a loving little goodbye moment together before Raquel fades into a peaceful black and her cannon sounds. (Inactivity, sorry Chi! D:) |

| Raquel let out a yelp when she was tossed into the air and then onto Kaius' back, on the little suit he had on. "I swear, Kaius if we die from thi-" Raquel got cut off as the dragon dived up into the air, knocking the air out of her lungs and replacing it with exhilaration. Never had air gush past her at such a speed, never had she grip onto something so tightly for her dear life, never had she felt anything like flying before. She started laughing as she got over the shock and fear. Kaius turned to grin at her as she returned the smile and competed with the loud wind, "bet the look on my face is priceless!" She wasn't even trying to be quiet anymore, she didn't mind if she was found right there and then and got her head onto the chopping board. If no one was going to care, at least she was. To care about how she'd spend the last of her time, knowing a stupid nobody like her could never face those Careers. She'd like to think herself as imminently 'doomed'.
She giggled like a child in a candy shop, enjoying the ride as Kaius flew them across the sea. Looking down to see just a blanket of blue, it was amazing. How much water can the world take anyways? All her life, never seeing the sea before, and here it is, dominating the place, across the horizon where they probably caged them up. She reached a hand up to comb her frenzied hair back as they flew all over her face. Bad move. Kaius did a quick back flip just then and the jerk made her let go of the handle. Her face distorted in sheer fear as she felt gravity mercilessly pulled her in. The fall felt like forever, making her just panic even more. Her back hurt like hell as she broke the water surface, sinking deep into the blanket of blue, how deep could this go? Raquel was really, really, really scared at that point. Scare of dying. She always thought about how easy it would've been to just die, since no one would remember her anyways. But at that point in death, it really wasn't pleasant. She didn't know how to swim, flailing her arms by instinct as she tried to steal the meagre gasp of air - which never came. She could only feel her lung being drowned, screaming at her brain, begging at her to spit it out and replace it with air. But she couldn't. Her eyes stung, her lungs cried, her body giving in to the cold. She couldn't take it anymore.
At that point she felt the water swish with a strong force and she was out of the water within seconds. She felt the claws clutch onto her as they escalated up to the sky and then back down onto the warm sand. Even with the abundance of air, her lungs could no longer take any, water sitting its big butt and claiming its territory in her lungs. Raquel's gasps were short and desperate as she stared into the dragon's blue eyes. She grinned, chest rising and falling in staccato as if she was having an asthma attack, while she lifted her shivering hand to cup the side of his head. Undeniably, she had the best time of her life, and at least now, if, or when, she died, someone, anyone would remember. She rolled her last apple to Kaius. "plea.. reme..er me?" Raquel barely make out her words between gasps to her companion as he whined, staying put without moving, occasionally nudging her. Raquel didn't get her answer. Her tired, damaged lungs finally gave up and stopped working altogether. When her pathetic oxygen supply flickered out, so did she. Leaving with a comforting thought that at least, someone, someone, had remembered her. She had at least left a mark to remember. But then again... everyone forget things after awhile don't they?Rest In Peace Raquel Ciera. I'm sorry I couldn't do more for you, you deserve so much more. Even though your may have the most boring life ever, maybe someday, someone would pick it up - and appreciate your life once again. No one else may remember you, but at least I will. <3
