Knowledge is Power! Spencernamebanner
---District 3---Male---18---

Spencer made his way down from the floor dedicated to the District 3 tributes and he had to say it had been a very quiet journey for him so far. He walked a long humming a tune in his head as he made his way to the training center. He looked so carefree for a person who had a 1/24 shot of coming back alive, and Spencer knew very well the odds of his arrival back home. He entered the main area and took a quick peek of what was being offered and one station in particular caught his eye, knot tying. Spencer liked making things so that he determined would be a great place for him to start.

He made his way to the pretty empty station, it seemed most tributes were more interested in ranged weaponry. The friendly trainer quickly straightened up as he approached and gave a friendly smile towards Spencer then went right into business mode. The trainer started showing slowly the steps to tying certain knots for some snares and traps and Spencer watched intently taking it all in. Once he saw it one time he signaled for the trainer to move on to the next knot, until he showed Spencer about three different knots that Spence felt he would use the most showed up. Now it was time for practice. He knew the steps now it was just time to do them over and over again until the muscles memory kicked in and he would be able to tie those knots in his sleep. Slowly at first his fingers moved and as he completed one a few times he began to speed up until he could do them without even looking at his fingers. He had been there for what seemed like hours working on knots, lost in his own mind and totally oblivious to the world around him and humming the same cheerful tune he did when he came down that morning.
