• Made a new thread, the other one was getting a little disorganized and adding 2 new characters to the districts section would just be frustrating.
• Finished both Selene and Spencer and now both have been added to the District Characters section.
• Made both Kalina and Talia inactive, I haven't really used either and I just needed to do a clean sweep.
• Lori now moved to the Dead Characters section after being killed by Jarvis Lisbon in the 30th Hunger Games in 4th place.
• Made Roe Glass in District 5 active again.
• Made Selene Slate inactive and created Willow Sheridan in District 7 and Trishelle Carlyle as a WIP in District 9
• Made another WIP and going to redo Marcella Thyme. Going to start remaking my character topic and way that my characters are set up. That will be done after the next Reapings.

Brief History:
Fraternal twins Abel and Anika are the only children to their parents Twill and Laurel Rhine. Growing up as the only son meant two things, his mother was extremely overprotective of both of her children and his father always had him strive for perfection. This can easily be seen when you look at Abel Rhine, his body and mind is trained not only for the Hunger Games but in the game of life. He is cautious with anything thanks to his mother and always strives to be the best because of his father's influence. Abel is torn on his opinion of the Hunger Games, even though he is a career and has been trained to be one. The conflicting opinions of his parents on the subject have him arguing with himself as to whether or not his training will get put to use or not.

Family:
Twill Rhine - Father; a older man of about 50, Twill Rhine took his young bride after he made his riches, deciding that a beautiful young woman would be a more suitable wife for him than a woman closer to him in age. He had picked the 'most beautiful' woman he could find and only a short while after Laurel and Twill were married. They had only one son and Twill made sure to imprint on him the importance of always being the best at everything. He feels that Abel should take the opportunity to volunteer for the Hunger Games while he still has the chance to try and bring honor to their family. He sees the games as a test of worth and the ultimate competition. Abel has a lot of issues with his father and always feels that he let's his father down.
Laurel Rhine - Mother; the 36 year old still holds her youthful appearance and makes sure she always looks her best. She has anxieties about only two things in her life, her appearance and constant pursuit of her youth and her only children Abel and Anika. She would be described as your typical overprotective mother and now that Abel is older she has loosened her grip on him a tad bit. Though she still worries about the Reapings he only has one more year to go before being in the clear, so to speak. She constantly struggles with her husband's thought that Abel should volunteer for the games in a hope to bring honor to not only their district but to their family.
Anika Rhine - Twin sister; 17.

Anika:

Pets: His mother has a pure white Persian named Snow. Snow is like most cats and extremely independent, but doesn't think much of Abel. They tolerate each other and it is a good thing he doesn't have to take care of the cat because he wouldn't.
Economic Status: Rich

Physical Appearance: A tall 6'0" and a muscular 190lbs, Abel is a sturdy specimen and a very stereotypical looking career. His shoulders are broad and muscular and his torso is the bulkiest part of his body and while his legs have some muscle in them they aren't extremely large. Abel has light blonde, short hair his skin is a lighter ivory skin tone. His eyes are almond shaped and a light blue almost a sky blue than a greyish blue and the eyebrows above them are the same blonde color as his hair and are an average thickness. His face is square and has a strong jaw line. In terms of attractiveness, Abel is quite handsome but unlike most people in his district he is not one to brag about his appearance and hardly pays attention to it.

Personality: Confident, quiet and even a little cocky, he is always one to strive for perfection in everything even if that is not humanly possible. Abel is not one to lead, but instead is more comfortable when he is following orders. Plus it puts him out of the spotlight, making him less of a target when it comes to whittling down the career pack. He is strong enough to help be a key decision maker, but not one to take the credit for it. Abel is incredibly loyal and is not someone to go back on his word. When he is apart of an agreement he needs to have a good reason to go back on it. Though he is loyal, he is extremely cautious around those he first meets as well as in any new situation that he is put into, always fearing the worst may happen. This is a trait that was drilled into him by his mother. He doesn't talk and really only talks to when spoken too though he thinks to himself a lot. The only person he really opens up with easily is his sister Anika.

Weapon of Choice:
Claymore - Although Abel is adept with using most one handed swords, his favorite type is a Claymore. It has enough weight to pack a nasty punch, but lightweight enough to still only require him to use one hand and maneuver with it swiftly. With it he can showcase his large upper body strength and make use of it. His broad shoulders and muscular torso gives him a great swing as well as great strength to put behind it. His extensive training with the sword has made him quick on his feet when fighting with one and he is able to pull of long stretches of attacks with the weapon with little difficulty.
Knives - A secondary weapon for him, Abel has been trained with all sorts of knives for any close combat type situations. He would never go for a knife if he could choose between a sword or knife, but he is still a deadly foe when he wields one. Abel has also been known to have a good hand when it comes to using a knife, being able to carve ornate decorations into pieces of wood with a knife easily. Not saying that he uses them to carve things into human skin, but he certainly has the skill to do so.

Talents: Abel's greatest strength is that being a career and being trained since he was quite young he has been trained to kill. He has used almost every kind of weapon but is quite adept with a claymore or any other one handed swords. Abel is also quite muscular and strong. He build and height give him an advantage in the sense that he is hard to move and extremely strong. He is a tank of a man, and in any combat situation he is the first line of defense because of it. Abel is very loyal and once he has given someone his word he will not back down from it, he is also willing to follow that person to hell and back if that is what is needed. He is not one to lead himself and has no problems following directions making him a useful ally to have.
Flaw: Abel is better at following orders than giving them and so if put into a situation that requires him to lead he tends to crack under the pressure. His loyalty can also act as a double edged blade, as he will not question is allies which makes it harder for him to attack them when the time comes. Abel's larger size makes it so he is not as agile as some of the other tributes may be. What he lacks in speed though he makes up for in brute strength. When it comes to running, he is an average speed but a tad bit sluggish. Abel's very quiet personality makes him more closed off and makes finding allies harder for him. He really only speaks when spoken to and his intimidating figure tends to scare some people off; which in turn means others find it hard to approach him.

Token: Around a golden chain hangs an ornately decorated golden ring that was a gift from his mother Laurel. Along the outside of the ring are carvings of leaves and laurels, which is his mother's namesake. For the longest time he was able to wear the ring on his pinky finger but as he grew older it got to be too small. Now he wears the ring on a matching gold chain around his neck.

Brief History:
The Watts household consists of two men, Professor Jeremy Watts and his only son Spencer. While giving birth to their child, Alessandra had complications causing her untimely death and leaving Jeremy to raise his child on his own. 18 years later, now Spencer is almost an adult and so close to being out of the age of eligibility for the Hunger Games. Spencer is considered a genius by not only his father but by most people in District 3, and will soon become a very successful engineer. He already has created his own inventions and is very good at making things with his hands.

Family:
Professor Jeremy Watts - Father; a man in his late 50's, Jeremy is quite brilliant and much like his son is extremely bright, boasting an IQ of 140. After losing his wife during childbirth he was tasked with raising their son on his own. He imparted on his son a love of knowledge and always taught him to seek all the answers to any questions that he may have. Spreading knowledge is a passion of his and he made it his life's work to teach others by teaching at the local school. Jeremy is quite tall and it is from him that Spencer gets his height and long lanky arms and legs from.
Alessandra Watts - Mother; Deceased. A once bright and colorful woman, Alessandra lost her life while giving birth to her first and only child, Spencer. Alessandra was a teacher, spending her life spreading knowledge to the young children of District 3 and it was this love of knowledge that caused her to find Jeremy. Spencer gets his looks from her, sharing the same hair and eye color as well as the same smile.

Pets: None
Economic Status: Rich

Physical Appearance: Spencer stands at around 6'1" and weighs a measly 160lbs. He looks like he hardly eats, but his metabolism is quite fast because he eats all the time. His arms and legs are very long, which makes his stride very long and he can move pretty quickly without much movement from his legs. His dark blonde/light brown hair is short and somewhat shaggy. It normally has a mind of its own and tends to do its own thing most of the time. His face is square and his cheek bones hardly show at all; and his eyes are a deep brown that look almost black like two pieces of coal. Spencer's skin somewhat tan even though he doesn't spend that much time outside.

Personality: Spencer can be described simply as a socially awkward genius. He has a habit of spitting out random facts and will talk without knowing when to stop, usually having people interrupt him in order to get a word in. Spencer has a gift for being able to remember even the most tiny details, making him a fast learner and since he is very detail oriented he can replicate something after only seeing it once. Unfortunately his high intelligence makes him awkward in almost every social situation and it is seen by the fact that he spends most of his time alone.

Weapon of Choice:
Traps and Snares - Spencer prefers to fight from afar, and he is able to use most types of snares and traps. Spencer loves to understand exactly how things work and he loves observing them and finding out exactly what goes into its inner workings. He can learn almost any type of knot and while he is not graceful when it comes to setting a trap he can set it and it always goes off. He only needs to set up a trap once to know how to do it again.
Balisong - Also known as a butterfly knife, the lightweight blade is easy to conceal and use. Spencer's long arms would give him good range when it comes to slashing at an enemy. Although he has never used one up until the training center, he is a fast learner and can pick up on things pretty quickly. He would not be able to perform the fancy tricks that some can do with the weapon, not understanding the need to do that and just figuring that he should know how to stab and not do flashy moves.

Talents: Spencer's biggest advantage his is immense intellect, he is considered a genius and has an IQ of 162. His brain can get him out of almost any situation and his ability to remember almost everything, even the tiniest detail, makes him a fast learner. Spencer is able to use most types of snares and can learn a knot after seeing it once. He is a fast runner and very sneaky, preferring to use camouflage and traps over physical confrontations. Spencer avoids fights when he can so he is able to save his strength for when he really needs it, preferring not to use the brute strength that he does not possess.
Flaw: Spencer has a crippling fear of social interaction and has hardly any grasp on what is considered 'acceptable.' His lack of social skills makes it hard for him to make not only friends but also allies and in the arena he would probably be alone. He also has no experience with any weapons and although he is a quick learner and can tell you all sorts of facts about each type of weapon he has no practical knowledge on the subject. Spencer is not strong at all, and it is obvious when you look at his thin build. While he is speedy and quick, a physical confrontation would spell certain death for him.

District: 4, Fishing

Brief History:
Growing up near the water has given Faye plenty of opportunities to bond with her father. Being around him so much has passed on some useful skills to her like how to tie knots and make fishing hooks. Growing up as only one of two children was hard, mainly because her mother always made it known that she wanted more children. This always made Faye more distant with her mother, even seeming to rebel against the advice she seemed to try and give her. Her free time is filled by spending time on the beaches, swimming and sometimes fishing, as well as being with her younger sister River whom she spends most of her time with.

Family:
Thomas Crescent -Father. Thomas is a man of the sea and spends most of his time on the open ocean and fishing. Standing at 6'0" Thomas can be imposing, but his height gives him a good advantage when he swims. He has passed on his knowledge to his daughter, teaching her how to tie certain knots as well as other useful skills that he has picked up along during his experience. He is more laid back compared to his wife, especially when it comes to his two daughters. He is more lenient when it comes to them exploring and being children.
Marion Crescent - Mother. Marion is a baker, her specialty is baking the seaweed flavored breads that the district is known for. Faye got her curly brown hair from her mother, whose long hair looks like it hasn't been cut in years. She is caring, and overprotective of her daughters; as well as being good with children. Marion always wanted to have more children, but Thomas did not want that. She usually bakes and gives them away to the more needy children in the district as a way to make up for the fact that she never had more of her own. When it comes to letting her children have their freedom, Marion tends to try and keep an eye of her kids at all times.
River Crescent - Younger sister; 14. River is that sister that follows Faye around almost relentlessly. The young girl is similar to Faye in the sense that she is spunky and rebellious, making them both a dream team of trouble makers when they want to be. River looks up to Faye like a role model, and at times their mother hates that fact. She doesn't like that Faye teaches River her manipulative ways and she tries to school her sister in the ways of being rebellious and mischievous. River is naive and acts young for her age.

River:

Pets: None
Economic Status: Middle class. Her family does pretty well for itself.

Physical Appearance: Faye stands at 5'4" and has a medium build. As far as muscle tone is concerned, Faye's most noticeable muscle tone is around her shoulders from the amount of time she spends swimming. She has a typical 'swimmers' body which is broader more muscular shoulders and the rest of her is generally thinned out. She has olive skin and and always seems to have a bit of a tan from being outside most of the time. Freckles cover her round face are most noticeable over her nose and under her eyes, but are very light. Faye's hair hangs down to past her shoulders and is a dark brown, almost black color that has been known to be straight some days and wavy the next. Most days she has it pulled back into a ponytail or done up in a braid so it is away from her face.

Personality: Faye has always been mature for her age and very independent, even though she hasn't needed to show much responsibility with her mother. She is naturally a leader and usually is the first person to volunteer for any job that is offered to her. Faye is always up for a new challenge and is always willing to learn a new skill if she needs to, she actually enjoys learning new things. She can also be rebellious, but only when it comes to limiting her freedoms. She shows that side the most to her mother who tries her best to make sure her daughters don't do anything dangerous. Out of everything Faye loves her freedom, and only lashes out when someone tries to take that away from her. But overall Faye is generally pretty friendly and actually very humorous. She is always one to crack a joke, even at her own expense.

Weapon of Choice:
Nets and snares - Basically anything that involves a good rope Faye can make work to her advantage. She can braid a rope with anything that will suffice. Her extensive skills with tying knots and ropes makes learning how to make a snare quite easy and she has made plenty of nets back home. Though she hasn't ever used a net or snare to trap a person before, the ones that she has made and used have caught plenty of fish.
Harpoon - As for an actual weapon, Faye would choose a harpoon or any sort of spear type weapon. She has used a harpoon when she has gone fishing with her father and she has gotten quite adept with one. She is quite swift when it comes to using one and can usually catch even the swiftest of fish with one jab. If there is no harpoon around though, Faye would settle for a spear since harpoons are a type of spear that is used for fishing.

Talents: Like many of the people from District 4, Faye is very skilled with nets and ropes as well as harpoons that are usually used for fishing. Faye has helped her father fish before as well as learned from him these skills and so she has a previous knowledge on how to use them to their full potential. Although she isn't a career, she has some physical and weapon skills but it is not as extensive as those who have trained for the games. Faye is a very swift and capable swimmer, and can swim for long periods of time as well as have no trouble treading water for a long time. Her body is very conditioned to swim for long distances and goes swimming almost everyday. It is one of her favorite activities and because of that she is in very good physical shape. Faye is also a very good liar and has used that skill to get out of trouble many times. She can talk her way out of almost anything and her silver tongue has proven to be one of her most valuable assets.
Flaw: Faye can be rebellious at times and is not afraid to push the limits. She has put herself into dangerous situations just to see what she would do and has a hard time backing down from a challenge, even if it is life threatening. She can also be incredibly stubborn, especially when it comes to backing down from anything she is involved in. She will see something through to the end even if it means her death. Although she is a fast swimmer and is in good physical shape, Faye's running pace is considered average and maybe even slower than most people. If she was in a foot race, Faye would most likely lose and so if she ventured into the Cornucopia during the bloodbath she would most likely be unable to get away or even catch up to someone running away from her.

Token: A hair clip that is covered in delicate white pearls. It was a gift from her father made by him from some pearls he had found while he was fishing. She wears it every time she puts her hair back, which is basically all the time. It is on her every Reaping just in case she gets reaped and needs to look good for the Capitol.

Brief History:
Rhea and her twin brother Roe are the only children to a power plant worker and his apothecarian wife. After losing his mother to illness, Roe became more withdrawn. He even got a job at the power plant that is father works at as soon as he was able in order to help support his family. Roe is very smart and can look very imposing, but in reality he is actually a sweetheart. When Roe watched his sister walk up to the stage in the reaping, all of the emotions that he swept under the rug from his mothers death resurfaced and now he is more broken than he ever thought. He has a crush on Evie Northwood, and upon telling his sister this she became jealous. He knows Rhea sacrificed herself so Evie wouldn't have to go in, she did it for his sake.

Now that his sister is back one would think that he would be living the perfect life, but instead he has only started to find a 'normal' living back in District 5. After his sister's return he has felt the constant shade from his sister's quite large shadow and has begun to feel as though he will never be able to accomplish anything like what she has done. Roe recently joined up with a gang, finding the danger and constant activity to be good for his restless mind and making him feel for once like he was accomplishing something. Rhea on the other hand does not think highly of Roe's new pastimes.

Family:
Otto Glass - Father; in his late thirties Otto has the worn look of someone who has been working for his whole life, and he basically has. Working in the power plants has been his job since he was 17. When it comes to his son he has an easier time connecting to him than his daughter.
Terra Glass - Mother (deceased); Terra was a kind woman who seemed to soften Otto's hard exterior. She was skilled in the art of apothecary and medicine making and while she was alive passed on the basics of this to Rhea. When Rhea and Roe were 7 years old, Terra passed away from an illness that she had for he majority of her life that weakened her immune system. Rhea's appearance she inherited from her mother, getting her hazel eyes and sandy blonde hair as well as her lean, tall body.
Rhea Glass - Twin sister; Rhea is Roe's younger twin sister by 5 minutes. While Roe is more reserved, she is more outgoing. She took over her mother's work when she passed away and makes medicines for the people in District 5 when needed. Roe and Rhea are very close, they spend most of their time together and share secrets with one another. Rhea went into the 28th Hunger Games as the female tribute for District 5 and won. She is now the most recent victor and mentor for the tributes from District 5. She seems to always be keeping tabs on her older brother nowadays and always seems to know what he is doing and who he is surrounding himself with even when he doesn't tell her. She has developed a very good set of connections and uses them as her eyes and ears around the district.

Rhea:

Pets: None
Economic Status: Now rich, but grew up very poor

Physical Appearance: He is tall, about 5'10" with a square face and two hazel eyes that seems to have no expression at times. His hair is sandy blonde and is cut short but still is a little shaggy on top. He looks more like his father, sharing the same face structure, build and nose. He is thin like most people in his district due to the fact that they lived in a poorer district and her family would go through periods of time where they had barely enough food to survive; but he is muscular from the work that he does.

Personality: Where Rhea is outgoing and more talkative, Roe is more reserved and more serious. He is slow to trust and hardly opens up to anyone and when he does he extremely loyal. He doesn't communicate his emotions well and can only do so with his sister Rhea. He can be cold and mysterious to some, due to his quiet nature and rough exterior. He can be extremely protective of his sister, and usually gives her advice on who she associates with. He has found himself becoming more and more cynical after his sister's return, and of course a tad bit more rebellious as Rhea has tried to keep tabs on him more and more.

Weapon of Choice:
Fists - Roe, after using his fists and a tree to take out his anger has learned to not feel the pain in his knuckles anymore. He is a heavy hitter, and his large hands make sure of that. While he may not be the most agile, he can dish out a punch. Constantly hitting tree bark has given him the experience of hitting a human face, and that no longer stops him for getting in a few punches.
Sledgehammer - Working in a power plant has given Roe experience with the heavy hammers. He can use hammers of all sizes, but has found that his good upper body strength makes him a great candidate for using the sledgehammer when someone needs something taken care of.

Talents: Roe is strong, muscular and knows how to pace himself. He is also handy with hammers, a talent he picked up when working in the plants with his father. He is a hard hitter with a sledgehammer and is the go to guy when someone needs something put into place or busted up. Roe has also learned to separate himself from his emotions, making him seem cold in certain situations. A talent that has proven useful when dealing with his mother's death and his sister's volunteering for the Hunger Games.
Flaw: Although Roe a force to be reckoned with if provoked, he can only keep up a constant high activity level for a few minutes at a time before having to take a break. And if there is running involved he is sluggish. One could compare him to a tank, strong and slow. Mentally Roe cannot handle to much stress before he starts to crumble underneath it and at times can seem closed of and cold to others. He cannot communicate his emotions well.

Brief History:
Willow Sheridan was always the black sheep of her small family. Her parents are both very carefree and fun-loving while Willow is very no nonsense and considered to be cold in some ways. Growing up as an only child was never hard for Willow, though it is very obvious that her parents wished they could have had more children. Willow spends most of her time outside and you can usually find her walking around in the forests instead of being inside, and has been known to spend all day outside only coming inside to sleep. Willow is able to survive on her own in the wilderness if she needs to and is a very outdoorsy kind of girl and has been known to spend most of her time alone.

Family:
Margaret 'Mockingbird' Sheridan - Mother; a grain collector in her mid 40's. Margaret lives a carefree lifestyle and goes not by her birth name but by 'Mockingbird.' She got married to her husband Sam when she was very young and though they tried to have more children she found out that she would never be able to have more children. She refers to Willow as her 'miracle child' for that reason. Mockingbird is free spirited and independent, and brings her spirit to everything she does in life. Willow is very much like her mother, their personality is extremely similar and Willow looks just like she did when she was younger. They both have the same wavy, dark brown hair and brown eyes as well as the same distinct dimples when they smile.
Samuel Sheridan - Father; a man in his early 50's he is about 7 years older than his wife. His copper hair and the beard that he has are starting to gray a bit and show his age more prominently. He stands at about 6'2" and is very lanky and wears a pair of wire rimmed glasses. He is smart but very goofy and is never one to pass up a good joke. A man knowledgeable about many different things he has taught Willow different things that she can use to survive with little to nothing. The one main skill Sam taught Willow was how to hunt using a bow and arrow as well as how to track game. They spent their weekends sneaking around in the forests and bringing home small game to help feed their small family.

Economic Status: Lower middle class

Physical Appearance: Willow stands at 5'4" and has an average build. She is thin but has some slight muscle tone in only her shoulders and calves. Her long, dark brown hair falls in curls that frame her square face and falls past her shoulders and goes down to her mid back, matching the color of her hair are two defined, thin eyebrows. Her brown eyes match the color of her hair and her eyelashes are long and dark. Willow has two distinct dimples that make an appearance whenever she smiles, even if it is a slight grin; though she tends to wear more of a stern expression.
Personality: Willow is fiercely independent, laid back, and easy going. She tends not to care too much when things go wrong knowing full well that not everything happens the way that we always want them to. She is no nonsense in her approach to problems and tends to try and find the easiest solution to any problem and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty if she needs to. Willow tends to stay more quiet in social situations, speaking up only when she needs to and seeming more like a loner than a social butterfly. When it comes to earning her trust one must really earn it as she doesn't do so easily. Once she gets to know someone though she is extremely loyal, not ever budging from their side when they are in need and going to any distance to help them when she can. Willow always seems to have an emotional wall around her that is hard to break down, and she can come off as a bit stand-offish and sometimes unfriendly.

Weapon of Choice:
Bow and Arrow - The one weapon she is most adept at using, Willow was taught at a young age how to use the weapon by her step-father. She has very good aim and can hit even a moving target. Her aim, experience and lack of strength in hand to hand combat makes it the one thing that she would actually go into the Cornucopia to get in the bloodbath.
Hunting Knife - Willow has used a hunting knife and has gotten pretty good at quickly using it to end the life of an animal. Whenever she hits an animal with an arrow if it hasn't died from that then she has gotten used to having to stab it to end its life quickly. Willow knows about 8 different areas to stab that will instantly kill something if it is done right and she is now desensitized to it.

Talents: Willow is very adept with using a bow and arrow and has great aim, being able to hit almost any target even a moving one. She can also use a hunting knife, a skill she picked up from hunting with her step-father. Willow has a very uncanny ability to not get lost even if she tried to. Living near the forests in District 7 and spending a lot of time in them for her whole life she was always able to find her way back home after wandering around all day, even without any trails to lead her back. Her endurance is very good, walking around outside on her own adventures for a whole day has built up her endurance quite a bit. Willow is also very knowledgeable of survival techniques like making fire, finding water and knows different plants and learned it all from her father.
Flaw: Willow is emotionally closed off and is not one to let people in too close. She is slow to trust and it takes quite a bit to get to the point where she is comfortable with opening up to someone. She can come off to some as stand offish and sometimes uninterested in others, although that isn't always the case. She can be harsh at times and she is very no nonsense and will do most anything to achieve her goal. When it comes to running, Willow is an average speed and although she can jog and move for long periods of time she doesn't do well when it comes to sprinting. Physically she is not extremely strong, being able to throw one good punch but anything more than that would be a problem for her which is why she prefers using a bow and arrow instead of her fists.

Brief History:
Travis was a well known rancher around District 10, providing his family with a pretty good life. That is until his untimely death when Dane was 15. Being the oldest of three children meant that he had to become the man of the house and help keep the family afloat. He now works on the Lemming's ranch in order to help make some extra money and earn some extra rations. Using the skills his father taught him, namely rope work and knots, has helped Dane keep a job for himself. He can be considered the best in the area when it comes to knot tying. His best friend is Talmon Philben. Their relationship is odd, yet works in many ways. They are complete opposites, Dane being the more extroverted of the two and Talmon being very introverted.

Family:
Marianne Zelker -Mother; the widow of Travis, Marianne has found herself almost lost without him around. A once vibrant woman, she now seems to be always depressed causing her children to constantly worry about her. She once used to hum a little song around the house, but that has stopped altogether since Travis' untimely death.
Travis Zelker -Father (Deceased); a once prominent figure around district 10 as well as avid outdoorsman. Travis was always known for being friendly and charming, much like Dane is. He passed on a lot of his knowledge to Dane before his passing, teaching him different knots and how to herd. Though only one of those seemed to stick with Dane, he tried making him practice as much as he could to give him a good work ethic. Could be quite a bit of a workaholic.
Gemma Zelker - Younger sister; Age 16. Gemma is Dane's bossy, younger sister and the only daughter to Marianne and Travis. She is straight forward and has no problems speaking her mind. Half of the time Gemma is bossing Dane around, reprimanding him for his schemes but then the other half she spends helping him out and messing with the other people around District 10. He loves his little sister, but just like any other person around him he cannot help but mess with her at times and even finds pleasure in doing so when he is at home.

Gemma:

Preston Zelker - Younger brother; Age 14. Preston and Greg are almost inseparable being so close in age and all. Preston is the more naive of the two, but he is quite intelligent. He just doesn't have much in the way of street smarts it would seem. Just like the rest of his family he has brown hair and always seems to have somewhat of a tan.
Gregory Zelker -Younger brother; Age 13. Preston and Greg are almost inseparable being so close in age and all. Greg has a very dominant personality and could be considered an alpha male. He can be bossy and demanding, often times forcing Preston to do his dirty work while he watches. Greg has the distinct Zelker look, and in a way could almost pass off for Dane's twin if he was a few years older.

Pets: A Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Bear and a brown tabby named Manx. Bear is a herding dog and loves to run around. Whenever Dane is home he makes sure to take Bear out to run. Bear is more attached to Dane than any of the other members of his family.

Economic Status: Middle class

Physical Appearance: Dane has a chiseled, square face; his looks at some point seem almost unnatural. His short brunette hair is usually messy and looks like it hasn't ever been brushed. Dane stands at 5'7" and weighs in at around 150lbs or so. He has some muscle tone in his shoulders and arms and has a thinner build than most guys around his age. Dane has a natural olive skin tone and he always seems to have a slight farmer's tan. What Dane is known most for his huge smile which can be seen from a mile away.

Personality: Dane's most noticeable personality trait is his flirty demeanor. He is extroverted, and could be considered a 'social butterfly' in any social situation. He is also the type to manipulate any situation to his advantage and is extremely manipulative when it is beneficial to him. He uses the fact that he is good looking to his advantage constantly. Dane always has a nickname for anyone, usually stemming from one thing he notices about the person the first time he meets them. He is quite cocky and very sure of himself and his relationships with others. Dane is also commitment phobic, he has never been in any committed relationship with any girl. Or at least on that could be considered committed to him.

Weapon of Choice:
Snares and Traps - Having to use ropes while working with his father before he passed gave Dane the skill set necessary to learn how to make a few decent snares and traps. He has tried it out some traps every so often, catching a few squirrels in the process which he is always able to trade for something better.
Knife - The only other thing besides rope that he has used that he would consider to be a deadly weapon. Knives also compliment his fast reflexes, making it the number one choice for a weapon in the arena.

Talents: His friendly demeanor is one of Dane's greatest assets. He can easily charm a crowd and usually knows just what to say in order to suit his needs the most. Whether it be complimenting or flirting, Dane can usually disarm a situation using words instead of force and has done so in order to get out of plenty of tough situations. He is also pretty humorous and will try to use humor to diffuse a tense situation if the previous two hadn't work out like he had planned. Dane is extremely light on his feet, fast and he can sneak around without being detected, usually. He is also talented with a paint brush, although it doesn't seem like he should be. Dane is able to tie almost every kind of knot, a skill set he learned from his father before his passing a few years ago. Dane finds that doing something with his hands often calms his mind and he practices his knots everyday, most of the time without even realizing it. He can also climb trees without too much effort on his part.
Flaw: Dane's biggest and most noticeable flaw is his extreme arrogance and his grandiose opinion of himself. This tends to turn most people off and has been the cause of him getting slapped around a few times in the past. His manipulative nature also makes those who have been taken advantage of think not to highly of him. He is also one to never admit his shortcomings, almost believing that he has none. And although he is charming and a people magnet, this can also get him into trouble. He is strong, but his physical strength and hand to hand combat are not his strong suits, preferring to hide rather than fight unless he has to.

Brief History:
Selene Slate grew up rich and has never known a day of hardship in her life. While others in the other districts spend days without proper food, the Slate family enjoys a hearty meal no matter what. Her father is a peacekeeper and raises his children with the same discipline that he learned and so he expects them to perform at their best no matter what and fully expects them to volunteer for the Hunger Games. He has trained them each for that time, but Selene has other plans in mind. While she has been trained to kill she doesn't plan to volunteer at all. Instead she just wants to live her life the way she wants to, instead of the way her father wants her to.

Family:
Elias Slate - Father; a head peacekeeper from District 2, Elias was able to provide a very good living for his family. Being a man who runs a squad in District 2, he raised his children with the same discipline that is expected form those who work for him. He is a very serious, hardened man and acts more like a drill sergeant at times than a father. He puts a lot of expectations on his two children, especially Demitri who is his only son. This makes Selene desperate to fight for his attention and approval.
Alexandra Slate - Mother; Alexandra is a stay at home mother who spends most of her time devoted to taking care of her children. She has no problem spoiling them and giving them exactly what they want. This has given Selene a bit of a 'I want it NOW' type of attitude and Alexandra has done nothing but reward that behavior. She doesn't work, but she does not have to because of her husband's occupation. Her two children have inherited their looks from their dark blonde hair to their auburn eyes and similar face shape. Selene is basically a younger version of Alexandra as far as her looks go.
Demitri Slate - Younger brother; 13. Demitri has never had to do anything for the approval of his father and this has made Selene quite jealous of him. While she tries to be perfect in everything she does for him to notice, Demitri needs to do nothing and still be praised. This has caused a lot of strife between the two siblings and plenty of sibling rivalry. Him and Selene look very similar and could pull of being twins if he looked a little bit older.

Physical Appearance: Stands at 5'3" and weighs 115lbs. Although she is small she almost all muscle and one can see the definition visibly on her arms, shoulders and calves. Her wavy hair is a dark blonde color and it tends to flow down in curls that help frame her round face. She has almond shaped eyes that are beautiful deep auburn-brown color, full lips and very light freckles that go over her nose. Selene has a distinct beauty mark that sits right below her left eye.

Personality: Selene's personality could be describe in 4 terms: strong willed, arrogant, flirty and fun loving. She is usually very happy-go-lucky and flirty and she tends to have more of a bubbly personality; but she has no problem getting serious when she needs to. She can be very arrogant and cocky and is very sure of herself in most situations. Selene is also very determined and tends to rush into things without thinking too much about them before jumping into the action. She can also act like a spoiled brat at times, usually throwing a bit of a tantrum when things don't go exactly the way she plans them too.

Weapon of Choice:
Butterfly Swords - Selene has practiced with the butterfly swords since she started training at the training center. Usually wielded in a pair, the blade works as both an offensive and defensive weapon. The short blade makes it maneuverable and paired with her smaller size it works to her advantage.

Talents: Selene is very adept when it comes to sword play, particularly with two butterfly swords. She is also very light on her feet and can quickly break into a sprint to escape if she needs to. She can be very determined and she won't give up on something until she has seen it through to the end. Selene has no problem making friends and allies because she is very friendly and talkative. She can also be quite flirty, and isn't afraid of using her looks to her advantage nor is she afraid to manipulate people to fit her needs. She is surprisingly physically strong, able to bring down someone taller and heavier than her without too much trouble.
Flaw: Selene can be very cocky, and is very sure of herself and her abilities. Even though she is good at what she does and strives to be the best, her bragging can get her into trouble with some people. She also tends to rush into things without thinking and is quite stubborn. Brief History:
The Foxes began as a family composed of Harry and Abigail Fox and their 4 beautiful daughters. The family lived a pretty normal and peaceful life until Abigail passed away. Soon after Harry met Juliana, a recently widowed woman with two children of her own and the two fell in love and soon married. Now a large, blended family the Foxes have been crammed into their home making for a very claustrophobic feeling. Kara's general feeling when she is around her siblings is usually to say whatever witty comment she can think of, and usually adding on to whatever chaos her older sisters Angel or Nadia are creating; most of which revolves around bugging Callie.

Family:
Harry Fox - Father. Always the 'fun' parent, Harry has always had a special connection with his youngest daughter. Kara shares more of her looks with her father, who is a towhead. After his wife's death, he eventually started seeing Juliana whom he married. Kara was always a bit closer to her father than she was with her mother, being known as a 'Daddy's Girl.'
Abigail Fox - Mother (Deceased). Abigail was a kind and even tempered woman. Her personality complemented Harry's more child-like demeanor. During her life she had 4 children with Harry: Angel, Callie, Nadia and Kara.
Juliana Fox - the 'new' mom. Sometime after Harry's first wife passed away, he began seeing his new wife Juliana. She had two children from a previous marriage; Hudson and Ariana. Kara has no problems with Juliana, but the two aren't very close because she feels that this woman is trying to take a place that can't be filled.

Angel Fox - Older sister; 18. The oldest of Abigail's children. Angel is what one would consider a party animal and more carefree; especially compared to her Callie. When it comes to Kara's relationship with Angel it is friendly, but like her relationship with all her siblings she knows they exist. Out of all her sister's Kara and Angel are the most similar, making them a tad bit closer than she is with her other sisters.

Angel:

Hudson Fox - Stepbrother; 17. Oldest of Juliana's children. Hudson is the only boy out of the Fox children and gets very protective of all his sisters, even his step-sisters. He is kind and humorous, usually able to put a smile Kara and his other sisters' faces with his ability to ease any tension. He, like his only other blood related sibling, has brown hair which is the look that Juliana's children have compared to Harry's blonde and red haired children.

Hudson:

Calico 'Callie' Fox - Older sister; 17. Callie is the second oldest of Abigail's children and although Angel is older than her she acts as if she was older. When their mother died Callie tried to take over as the surrogate mother for her younger siblings. While Nadia and Angel found it annoying, Kara didn't really care to much. Kara doesn't always appreciate Callie's habit of trying to get her to share her feelings with her.

Callie:

Nadia Fox - Older sister; 15. Nadia is the prankster of the family, and shares the same dry, sarcastic sense of humor that Kara has. She knows what bugs each of her siblings and uses it to mess with them relentlessly, like knowing that Kara doesn't like to be touched or has boundary issues. Although she is very keen on bugging her siblings, she can be very protective of them when she needs to be.

Nadia:

Ariana Fox - Stepsister; 13. Youngest of Juliana's children and now the youngest child in the family. Kara used to be the baby of the family, very used to being swooned over by the members of her family especially her father. Kara doesn't like that she has been pushed from that spot by her stepsister which causes a bit of friction between the two.

Ariana:

Pets: A pure white ferret named Roxin. Roxin goes with Kara everywhere, usually sneaking into her bag when she goes out. He has a nasty habit of stealing anything shiny, particularly jewelry.

Roxin:

Economic Status: Middle class

Physical Appearance: Standing at 4'11," Kara is short for her age. Her dirty blonde hair goes to her a little past her rib cage and has a mind of its own it seems. One day it may be more wavy while the next it is as straight as a pin. Her green eyes are the doors to her soul so to speak, and one can usually tell how she is feeling by looking in them.
Personality: Outgoing, goofy and a little snarky, Kara is the jokester of the family, and has an uncanny ability of making people laugh, even if she isn't trying to be funny. Her short stature gives her what is known as a 'Napoleon complex,' making her more aggresive than her size would suggest. She hates when people enter into her 'bubble' and doesn't like hugging and people touching her.

Weapon of Choice:
Boomerang - After her father gave her a plastic boomerang as a toy and quickly it became Kara's most favorite plaything. She was determined to master it, and after much practice she was able to finally learn the throwing technique. She often throws it when she is bored or feeling stressed out.
Bow and Arrow - If put into the training center, Kara would gravitate towards a bow and arrow because of her good aim. Learning how to use the boomerang made her learn how to concentrate on her aim. She would have to learn how to actually shoot the weapon, but she would be building on her skill set on the end of aiming.

Talents: Kara is very good with her hands, able to craft anything from a woven basket to whittling. Her room is decorated with the numerous wooden items she has whittled down from sticks she found around the district. Her humor is also one of her greatest strengths, making it easy to disarm a tense situation. Kara's aim is very good, and her concentration in turn is very stable as well. One of her most noticeable talents is her focus, making her a force to be reckoned with when she uses a weapon.
Flaw: Kara is funny to a fault, while she uses humor to try and disarm an uncomfortable situation it can get her into trouble. She also uses it as an emotional shield, making it seem like she is mean in more serious situations. Kara can also be extremely stubborn, making it very hard for her to accept her own flaws or take advice from others. The fact that she doesn't let people touch her makes her more distant as well as unable to let people help her.

Sometimes if you listen very carefully and are sure to make yourself hidden you can hear the sweet sound of music from the trees of District 7. The melodies are usually mimicked by the mockingjays that take up residence in the woods, full songs with different verses have been repeated back to Kalina in a way that they do only when they enjoy the song that has been sung to them. The mockingjays are the only things that have heard Kalina Hollis sing, not even her good friends Peppermint and Greta have. The three girls met when they were each 8 years old and have been good friends ever since. Greta and Peppermint are Kalina's best friends and even though it took a bit for her to warm up to both of them and come out of her shell they are now inseparable. Greta and Kalina first started out with an awkward friendship because they are so different from each other, but after some time there was no awkwardness between the two. The girls are like the three musketeers and are usually all found together.

Family:
Klaus Hollis - Father; Klaus is a man in his mid thirties and still looks very young for his age. He could easily pass off for being in his mid twenties, and his face shows hardly any wrinkles and his hair is still the same dark brown that it was when he was younger. Kalina got her young looks from him, and as he always jokes 'the Hollis family has always been able to fight off the cold hand of aging.' He is very bright and extremely smart. He runs a store in the Upper District that has been in his family for many years, specializing in woodwork. Kalina is much like him in the sense that she can make something out of almost nothing and is very good with his hands.
Natalia Hollis - Mother; Natalia is in her mid thirties and much like her husband she looks hardly a day over 28. She grew up quite rich, her father owned a successful logging company that let her grow up very comfortably. But when she met Klaus it was love at first sight and she had no problem giving all that up in order to be with him. She is quite smart, and helps out at her husband's shop doing work as an accountant and etc. She loves both of her children unconditionally but tends to spoil Mikhail making him somewhat of a spoiled brat at times.
Mikhail 'Mickey' Hollis - Younger brother; age 9. Mikhail or Mickey as his family calls him is almost the opposite of Kalina. They look very similar and share the same dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. He is outgoing, loud and not too bright, he is also quite spoiled thanks to his mother always taking care of him. His seemingly low intelligence makes him the black sheep of his family. Him and Kalina have a typical sibling relationship, they love each other as one would a family member but if they were not related they would never be friends. Kalina basically just tolerates him and doesn't go out of her way to spend a lot of time with him.

Pets: A yellow canary named Flitter. Kalina found Flitter one day while she was wandering around the district. Her wing was broken and the girl picked her up and brought her home and nursed her back to health, making sure to sing to the small bird every night. When the bird's wing had healed, Kalina went to release the bird but it did not leave, maybe it was because of the kindness the girl showed or her voice but it did not leave. Kalina decided to keep the bird after a few failed release attempts.

Flitter:

Economic Status: Lower middle class

Physical Appearance: Small for her age, Kalina stands at about 5'0" and weighs only 105 lbs, maybe 110 when she is wet. Her dark brown hair goes down past her shoulders and the waves frame her oval face. Kalina looks very young, being able to pull off looking as young as 12 or 13 even though she is almost 16. Her eyes are a deep blue, much like the deepest parts of the ocean. Her build is very thin and has hardly any muscle tone except for some in her shoulders and calves that she gets from climbing trees and walking to get anywhere in the district.

Personality: Kalina is not a girl of many words, being more of a quiet observer than anything else. She is very shy when she gets around new people and has a little bit of social anxiety around large groups of people. But when she gets to know someone she really starts to open up and her personality blossoms. She is much more talkative and funny when she is surrounded by a very close friend. Kalina is someone who would rather have one or two really close friends than a large group of acquaintances. Her observant nature has taught her many useful things in life making her very intelligent in things that people say and do. She is almost an expert in the human psyche and like to 'people watch' so to speak. Most times people seem to forget that she is around which is fine with her. This gives her more time to sit in her own mind and entertain herself which is something she does quite frequently.

Weapon of Choice:
Slingshot - Kalina has a makeshift slingshot that she made for herself from a strong stick, a few pieces of leather and a rubber band. Although it isn't the best looking thing it works. She keeps it hidden in her bag at all times and will take it out whenever she knows there are no peacekeepers around. She has pretty good aim, but that is with rocks and other small stones and not necessarily something that can is transferred over to any other weapons like a bow and arrow.
Traps and Snares - Kalina loves a good trap, and she is knowledgeable on where they should be put and how to hide them so that they are most effective. Her observant nature and knowledge on human nature gives her an advantage when it comes to successfully using snares and traps. She is also pretty good at activities that involve her using her hands like making some of the items she has like her slingshot and the necklace she wears around her neck.

Talents: Kalina is quiet and observant, making her a great hider as well as a knowledgeable one. She tends to learn what she can from what she sees and can usually guess what they are going to do next or how they will react. If Kalina played chess she would be a very good player, so to speak. Kalina is also quite small which makes her much more maneuverable and agile than some of the bigger kids in her district. Though physically she isn't that big of a threat, her mind is and she is very smart. Kalina also has a very beautiful singing voice, though she would never sing in public because of her shyness. The only people who may have heard her sing are her two good friends Peppermint and Greta.
Flaw: Kalina's small size puts her at a great disadvantage when it comes to hand to hand combat. She isn't physically very strong and could easily be overpowered by someone much larger than she is. Kalina also has social anxiety when it comes to meeting new people and being in large groups, so making allies would be very difficult for her. If she were to have an ally in the arena it would only be one other tribute, maybe two but nothing more than that. She also tends to think too much. She will usually over think a situation instead of acting and because of that she has lost out on some good opportunities.

Brief History:
Medea lives in a tiny shack in the poorest part of district 8. Her father, Peter is a factory worker and her mother Johanna washes dishes for whoever pays her to do it. She is the second oldest out of 5 kids. Her family is very poor, having barely enough money and rations to feed their family. Because of this all Jason, Medea and June all take tesseraes to try and make up for what they lack which is quite a bit. Medea is what one would consider a bit of an oddball, being the one person in her family that is very obviously different personality wise. She tends to have dramatic mood swings and can usually be found outside because she tends to have a lot of nervous energy. This makes her unable to stay still for long periods of time.

Family:
Peter Maddox - Father; Peter is a man in his mid 40s who works in the textile factories of District 8. He works hard for a living and tends to spend most of his time in the factories. It is a running joke in the Maddox household that he never actually comes home but instead has taken up residence at his workplace. Peter is an extremely caring person and a devoted family man, he is quite selfless and would do almost anything for the sake of his very large family. He stands at about 6'2" and is very thin making him look almost like a straw or something. His head is covered in a dark brown mop of hair and his grey eyes are hidden behind a pair of wire rimmed glasses.
Johanna Maddox - Mother; a woman in her mid 40s and looks very much so to be that age, Johanna's curly auburn hair has started to show some greys in it. The woman was raised not only her own set of children but as a way to get some extra money she has acted as a housekeeper for anyone that is willing to pay her to do it. Most of the money she makes she gets from washing dishes and doing laundry for some of the richer families in District 8. Luckily her work allows her to be home most of the time for her children since her husband is gone most of the time. Johanna is quite short compared to her husband standing at only 5'3." The two standing next to each other is quite humorous.
Jason Maddox - Older brother; 17. Medea's only older sibling, Jason is your typical older brother. He is protective of all of his younger siblings and 'tries' to be a good role model for them. Try being the operative word. His personality is very laid back and he seems to be relaxed about 95% of the time, even in highly stressful situations. Jason's motto in life is 'take the easy way out' as he always goes for the most convenient solution instead of the best solution. Jason is very good looking, his short hair is the same reddsih brown as Medea's and his eyes are the same greyish green color as well. Medea and Jason look very similar and it is obvious that they are siblings.
June Maddox - Younger sister; 14. Though she is the middle child, June has never acted like it. She has always been much more mature and responsible than her two older siblings and acts like she is much older than she actually is. June is much more serious, and is the only Maddox child to get that trait. She is very stubborn much like the rest of the Maddox family and never accepts the bare minimum from anyone or anything in life. June is extremely bossy and feels like she has to babysit all of her siblings, even though she doesn't have to. That is all just apart of her personality. June looks more like her mother and share the same curly auburn hair, the only difference is the same style of glasses that both her father and younger brother wear.
Diana Maddox - Younger sister; 12. Medea's youngest sister Diana is a special needs child. She is very artistic and creative, but her impaired mental abilities makes it harder for her to communicate verbally as well as process things the same way as others around her. Medea, as well as the rest of her family, is very protective of Diana. People have been known to be mean to her, and that is one subject that gets Medea very angry. Being in the reaping age has now worried almost everyone in her family, fearful that she would be picked to go in. Medea would only volunteer for one person in the games and that would be her sister.
Edward 'Echo' Maddox - Younger brother; 8. Nicknamed that because he looks almost exactly like his father, sharing has the same dark brown hair, blueish grey eyes, build and even the same glasses that his father needs to wear. Edward is like most 8 year old boys and much like Medea has a lot of pent up energy and a hard time paying attention to things around him. Even though his high energy level and lack of focus at times suggests he is not too intelligent, he is actually very bright. The young boy is probably the smartest of the Maddox children, he just has a hard time showing it at times because of his lack of focus.

Economic Status: Very poor

Physical Appearance: Medea is a nice combination of both her mother and her father's physical appearances. She stands at an average height of 5'6" and weighs a measly 110lbs. Her build is very thin and although she looks like she has no muscle tone at all she has a small amount in shoulders from all the trees that she likes to climb. Her reddish-brown hair falls past her shoulders and goes to her mid back straight like pins. Sometimes she will try to get it to be wavy, but most times it stays straight as a board. Her pale face is home to her large greyish green eyes, and those tend to be the windows to her soul so to speak. One can usually tell how she is feeling by simply looking into Medea's eye and they tend to convey all of her emotions for her.

Personality: Medea is goofy and outgoing and has never had trouble making friends a day in her life. She tends to have no problems speaking to people and usually speaks before she thinks. Medea can be a bit spacey and will usually ramble on just saying whatever things come to her mind at that moment. She has been known to get lost in her own jumbled thoughts. Medea has been known to have drastic mood changes and all of her emotions seem to be very dramatic. When she is happy she is almost manic and her sad periods are very depressing, and when she is angry she is like a firecracker. She has a hard time controlling and hiding her emotions and they tends to shape her personality quite a bit. But overall Medea tends to be very bubbly and happy and will see the best in most things.

Weapon of Choice:
Mace -

Talents: Medea is very determined. When she decides to do something she will do anything to reach that goal. Although she doesn't look it she is actually quite strong and has a strong swinging arm. She is also pretty fearless, not caring about what might happen but more interested in how to make something happen. She also likes to climb trees, having a lot of nervous energy pent up makes her find mindless hobbies like climbing trees and running around aimlessly.
Flaw: Medea is extremely stubborn and very strong willed. And while she can be very determined, it is a double edged sword. She won't back down from accomplishing a goal and so that means she has a tendency to rush in to things with out thinking it through first. She also has a bad habit of saying things before thinking. She is a girl of action and not one to think about the consequences before she does something. Medea has also been known to have quite drastic mood swings when put into highly stressful situations. While she keeps them under control most of the time, when put into bad position she tends to lose her cool quite easily. Physically Medea's smaller size and weight would make it easy for much larger tributes to take her down in a close combat type of situation.

Brief History:
Marcella or otherwise known as 'Ella' or even 'Mars' is a goofy girl from the poorer district 11. Her family, although poor, is very full of love and having three children eligible in the Reapings is hard every year. Ella loves the outdoors, and can always be found running around the orchards killing time as well as making her own random adventures in different areas around the district. She is extremely friendly and able to make friends quite easily, hoping to find at least one person to go on adventures with. She is usually in her own head, making up her own imaginary worlds that she tends to find herself in most of the time.

Family:
Ronald Thyme - Father; Ronald is an older man in his early 50's. He is a harvester and spends most of his days out in the orchards or wherever else he may be needed. He take work where he can and in turn that means he isn't around much. He is a loving faher though, and tries to be there for his kids as much as possible.
Rosetta Thyme - Mother; Rosetta is a quite petite woman in her late 40's. Her golden brown hair is still as youthful as it was when she was young, not even starting to grey after all this time. She works as a gatherer, much more lately now that her children are older and more independent.
Dougland "Doug" Thyme - Older brother; Age 18. Doug is Ella's oldest brother and looks up to him quite a bit. He is responsible and intelligent, but very quiet and shy. He can be extremely protective of his younger siblings, especially Ella because she tends to find herself in more trouble than Erron ever does.
Erron Thyme - Younger brother; Age 13. Erron is that obnoxious little brother that you love to hate. He can be a real pain, but he does have his moments. Ella can feel very protective of him, much like her brother Doug feels about her.

Pets: None, though she likes to imagine that the birds around her are like pets and constantly find her again after they leave.
Economic Status: Poor

Physical Appearance: Ella is about 5'2" and a thin build. Her arms and legs are as thin at sticks, and rightfully so because she hardly eats much and looks like that. Ella's hair is long, wavy and brown and has hints of blonde in it from the sun bleaching. Her skin is surprisingly light for how much time she spends outside, more of an ivory color than tan. Her eyes are a deep brown and very pretty, probably the prettiest part of her appearance.

Personality: A little spacy, and somewhat goofy Ella could be considered a little off. More naive then anything, Ella always seems to see the best in everything around her, even when the world seems to be bleak. She loves being outdoors, finding herself trying to be in nature than inside. She finds herself getting antsy when she is stuck inside for too long, getting terrible cases of cabin fever.

Weapon of Choice:
Sickle - She has used sickles to help in harvesting the crops and gathering. Any experience is better than no experience when it comes to possible weapon handling. She has never used one to attack a person, but really all it requires is swinging and hoping that it hits its target.
Talents: Ella's love for the outdoors has given her some very handy survival skills. She knows how to start fires and other necessary skills one would need for survival. She is great when it comes to identifying plants and berries, and knows some healing techniques as well. Ella is quite friendly and is able to make friends and allies quite easily, mostly due to her naive nature. In the games allies would be something easy for her to come by because she would have no problem thinking that they would not kill her.
Flaw: Ella is non-confrontational and is more of a lover, not a fighter. Her naivety would be a downfall of hers because she sees the best in people, the idea that they would turn around and kill her is just not something that crosses her mind. Betrayal is a very real reality for Ella because of that fact. She is also not physically strong, hand to hand combat would not be a real viable option for her.

Brief History:
Nestled in the Victor's Village lies a house occupied by the Cross family which consists of Craven his wife Marina and their three children Lenina, Henry and Fanny. Being the firstborn to a previous victor it is only natural that one must prove herself worthy; and Lenina has trained her whole life to hear those words, "Lenina Cross, victor of the Hunger Games!" She has dreamed of that moment since she was 10 years old, and she has every intention of volunteering as the female tribute for District 2.

Family:
Craven Cross - Father; a previous victor and strict parent. Craven is more like a drill sergeant than a father. He has been training all of his children to participate in the games and carry on the 'family business.' In his eyes, one's worth is determined by their ability to survive. He is distant from his children, seeing himself more as their trainer than their parent.
Marina Cross - Mother; Marina is a very hands off parent, not really there and always out. She was known as more of a party girl when she was younger and thought she hit the jackpot when she decided to marry a previous victor. She would never need to work again and hasn't. Fanny takes after her looks wise, sharing the same face structure and light blonde hair.
Henry Cross - Younger brother; 15 years old. Henry is almost as stubborn and arrogant as Lenina, causing lots of drama and fights between the two. He looks almost exactly like Craven, sharing the same square face and dark black/brown hair. His hair is usually slicked down onto his head and he has the look of a soldier as well as the attitude of one.
Fantine 'Fanny' Cross - Younger sister; 9 years old. Fanny has only just begun her career training and is still very innocent and childish. She is a girly girl, more than Lenina ever was at her age and hates going through her training everyday. Fanny has light blonde hair, similar to her mother's and making her look like the odd one out compared to her dark haired siblings.

Economic Status: Rich

Physical Appearance: Lenina is 5'5" with a thin build and muscular shoulders. Her skin is as pale as ivory and her dark black/brown hair and greyish blue eyes gives her a surreal look. She is pretty and she knows it and is not afraid to use it to her advantage if she must. Her hair is straight and cut into a bob to make sure it doesn't get in her way during training. She has a small scar between her eyelid and eyebrow from a training accident with her brother Henry.

Personality: Lenina is a deadly combination of smart, manipulative and resourceful and that is because of her father. Not only was his cold demeanor towards all of his children a factor towards her cold behavior but also the intense training that he has beaten into her since she was 7 years old. Trained to kill and desensitized to most human emotions she is more of a robot than a person at this point. She is arrogant at times and tries to always exude an air of confidence.

Weapon of Choice:
Swiss dagger - Her weapon of choice, the Swiss dagger is small enough to conceal and lightweight enough that her agility is not compromised. She has been training with the dagger since she was 10 years old, making it the one weapon that she is most proficient with and most comfortable using. Her most favorite way to wield them is dually, but she will make due with only one if need be.
Throwing knives - Lenina's deadly aim makes using throwing knives and even throwing axes very useful to her. She can hit a small target from far away and has been known to hit a small rodent in the eye with one.

Talents: Her desensitization and logical view on everything around her makes her very calm in stressful situations. She has been trained with throwing knives and a Swiss dagger, as well as extensive stamina and agility training. Her father's training has made her a true career. She is also very smart and is trained for almost any situation the Gamemakers may bring in thanks to watching the previous Games and studying everything about them.
Flaw: Lenina is arrogant and sometimes overly confident in her own skills, which can get her into trouble. Her cold demeanor and serious nature is also seen as far to intense for some and she has a hard time keeping friends. Her hand to hand combat is the weakest of all her fighting skills.

Brief History:
Down in the Seam lives the Sullivan family, a family that has been torn apart by the Hunger Games. When Lorence was only 12 years old her older brother Gunnar was reaped and chosen to be the male tribute that year from district 12. He never came home. Having to watch him die on screen made her more reserved at first, and then as she got older her personality began to morph and change until she became the person she is now; cynical and apathetic. She can only see the negatives in things and waits for the time when she is ineligible for the Reapings and she can finally be allowed to forget her brother's untimely death. Now an only child, her family has become more and more broken, her father is practically mute, her mother is unrelentingly depressed and Lorence herself being the cynical and uninterested teen.

Family:
Spencer Sullivan - Father; a coal miner in his late 40s, Spencer is more of a serious man. After the loss of his only son, Spencer withdrew into himself more and more with every passing day. He is now practically mute, hardly saying a word and communicating with audible grunts than actual words. He is hardly home, spending most of his time working in the mines; he hardly spends any time with the one child he has left.
Ophelia Sullivan - Mother; depressed since the day her son died, Ophelia is barely a shell of a person at this point. She spends most of her time alone and crying in the small shack that the Sullivan family calls home. Much like her husband she hardly talks, speaking only in a few word sentences when she does say something. Although she isn't crazy, there are rumors around the district that say that she is and her depressed demeanor doesn't help but solidify that claim.
Gunnar Sullivan - Older brother (Deceased); would have been age 21. Lori's brother was reaped 5 years ago and was killed during the games in the initial bloodbath. He never stood a chance against the careers as he ran into the Cornucopia for supplies. He was intelligent and bright, but could be overly confident and arrogant at times usually overestimating his skills.

Gunnar:

Pets: She has a black and white cat named Milo. He is more spotted than the traditional tuxedo pattern on most black and white cats. Althought he doesn't live in her house and would be considered more of a stray, but she feeds him daily so in her mind she is more or less his owner.

Milo:

Economic Status: Poor

Physical Appearance: Lorence stands at 5'6" and weighs only 115lbs. She looks rather thin for her height and has hardly any muscle tone except for a small amount in her legs and calves. She has the distinctive 'Seam' look, having dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. Her skin is olive colored and surprisingly smooth and clear. Her almond shaped eyes are quite large and her eyelashes are long and she has full lips.

Personality: Extremely apathetic to the world around her, Lorence is not one to show much interest in the things going on around her. She has an extremely serious nature and is quite cynical. Though she can have her sweet moments, they rarely come out and are still very harsh like most of her personality. She has a sharp with and is a fast thinker, usually being able to talk herself out of almost any situation with ease. Lying comes quite easily to her and she has no problem doing so.

Weapon of Choice:
Bow and Arrow - Gunnar began teaching Lorence how to shoot a bow and arrow before he was reaped. He was quite talented with one and would usually use it to hunt for small animals like squirrels and rabbits helping to feed his family. She inherited his bow after he died and has practiced with it here and there ever since. She is no where near as good as her brother was, but she can hit a target from a far distance.
Pickaxe - Would be more of a secondary weapon, Lorence has some experience using a pickaxe. But not in the way of using it as a weapon or as a way to defend herself. This would not be her first choice in weapons, because it would require her to be near her target, but she would make due if she wasn't able to get a hold of a bow and arrow.

Talents: Lorence has a razor sharp wit and a silver tongue. She can talk her way out of almost everything and has many times. She has no problems telling lies and being deceitful and her moral compass is a little skewed making her feel little to no regret for wronging another person. She is good with a bow and arrow, though not as good as her brother was; but she is able to hit a target and that is what really counts. She is also pretty a pretty speedy runner, even her walk is more of a power walk.
Flaw: Lorence's cynical nature can be very harsh at times, making some people avoid her because of it. She usually shoots things down, and thinks most ideas are stupid and isn't afraid to share her opinion. She can be somewhat of a loose cannon and isn't able to control her emotions when they start to build up. Once she has hit the threshold of her emotions, it is hard for her to come back down to a relaxed state. Physically she is not very strong, and would be unable to beat anyone is a fist fight.

Token: Lori's token is a lucky rabbits foot tied onto a piece of twine. Her brother caught the rabbit while he was wandering around the district one day before being reaped and made sure to save that foot as a memento for his sister, hearing it was good luck to carry one around. She has somehow managed to keep it in good shape since she got it 5 years ago.

Years as Stylist: Technically she has been a stylist for close to 4 years, but she took the last two years off to 'soul search' as she likes to refer to it with her dog Roosevelt. If she continued through everything she would have had 6 years of continuous stylist experience.
Preferred District: Flicka is what we like to call a district hopper when it comes to styling. Being considered one of the best stylists in the Capitol gives her the luxury of being able to choose whatever district she wants most of the time. Even if she did take time off from styling, she still gets to pick her district first every time. Flicka usually chooses what district she will style for depending on what she has the most ideas for.

Pets: Black and white spotted Great Dane named Roosevelt. He follows her everywhere, and he is like her sidekick helping her style the tributes while she is there.

Personality: Flicka is spontaneous, easily excitable and tends to chirp when she she is happily talking. She has a habit of calling everyone dear, and sweetie; even those she doesn't know well. She also, like many other Capitol citizens, love watching the Hunger Games ever year. It is her favorite time of the year, not only because she gets to watch the excitement of the games but also because that is when she gets to fill her time with work.
Appearance: A real Capitol citizen Flicka changes her look as often as one would change their socks. Her natural hair color is light blonde and usually she keeps it a bright, bleach blonde color; though she has been known to dye it an odd color or two. She is 5'6," has brown eyes and quite skinny compared to some of the people in the Capitol. Wearing bright makeup, especially around her eyes is all apart of her signature look.

Years as Stylist: This is Heath's first year as a stylist, starting out as a grunt worker for other stylists by doing the prep work that is needed before hand. He finally got his break in the styling game when one of the more well know stylists that he worked for saw his designs. Now he is ready to prove his worth.
Preferred District: Currently he is happy to be the stylist for district 5. After their recent victor it is a district with more attention on it but still is one that is good for beginners in the sense that it isn't a high pressure district like 1, 2 or 4. He hopes that eventually he will be able to move up to a more desirable district as he gains more experience.

Personality: Cold and stoic, Heath has a mysterious air to him. He doesn't talk a lot and he seems to be the opposite of most people in the Capitol. His figure can be slightly imposing, and his demeanor only solidifies that assumption. Fortunately for him he embraces this persona that has been given to him.
Appearance: Heath is about 6'2" with a muscular build. His face is well defined with a square jaw and thick eyebrows. His dark brown hair is shaggy and usually falls where it will or is slicked back neatly. His most prominent feature is his bright blue eyes that seem to hold all of the expression in his face. Heath always wears an ornate, golden ring on his ring finger on his right hand.

Brief History:
Rhea and her twin brother Roe are the only children to a power plant worker and his apothecarian wife. After losing her mother to illness, Rhea had to take on the responsibility of carrying on her late mother's work by providing very basic care to her family and anyone in her district that needed it. Just like many people in the Districts, they rarely enjoy a hearty meal and both Rhea and Roe find themselves claiming tesseraes as soon as they were able. Rhea would never tell her brother, but she always made him think that he was putting is name in equally by claiming the tesserae, but in actuality she always made sure her name was the one being put into the lottery. Rhea participated in the 28th Hunger Games and rose above as the victor. She had inflitrated the careers, using her charm and appearance to her advantage and killed Skye Walker from district 4 to take the spot as victor. She loved Kaspar Locke, who later died in the games.

Family:
Otto Glass - Father; in his late thirties Otto has the worn look of someone who has been working for his whole life, and he basically has. Working in the power plants has been his job since he was 17. When it comes to his daughter he has trouble connecting with her and spends most of his time with his son working.
Terra Glass - Mother (deceased); Terra was a kind woman who seemed to soften Otto's hard exterior. She was skilled in the art of apothecary and medicine making and while she was alive passed on the basics of this to Rhea. When Rhea and Roe were 7 years old, Terra passed away from an illness that she had for he majority of her life that weakened her immune system. Rhea's appearance she inherited from her mother, getting her hazel eyes and sandy blonde hair as well as her lean, tall body.
Roe Glass - Twin brother; Roe is Rhea's older twin brother by 5 minutes. While she is more outgoing, Roe is more reserved. He is tall, muscular and good looking with a square face that seems to have no expression. Roe and Rhea are very close, they spend most of their time together and share secrets with one another. He looks more like his father, sharing the same face structure, build and nose.

Economic Status: Rich now, but grew up very poor.

Physical Appearance:Rhea is about 5' 7", thin build with a little hint of muscle tone. She has long sandy blonde hair and light hazel eyes. Her legs are long and slender with a hint of tone in her calves and her arms have no muscle tone to speak of. She is thin like most people in her district due to the fact that they lived in a poorer district and her family would go through periods of time where they had barely enough food to survive; but somehow she manages to keep a glow to her that suggests she gets at least the necessary nutrients from what small rations she does eat.

Personality: Rhea is laid back and kind. She avoids confrontation where she can and wants to please people, especially her father. Rhea is slow to trust and doesn't let people get to close. But that doesn't mean she has no friends, on the contrary she has no trouble talking and meeting people, she just is careful with who she lets in. People have found her to be more kind than most and almost too forgiving at times. She can get extremely jealous though, especially when it comes to the attention of her brother.

Weapon of Choice:
Spear or Pole - To go along with her height and long arms and legs and to match her experience using weapons, her best bet would be something that is long range. Anything that would give her distance between her and her attacker and allow her to have a wider attack range.

Talents: Apothecary and medicines would be considered her greatest asset. She knows what plants are poisonous and dangerous and which have healing capabilities. She also spent the later years of her life with her brother and father, making her more of a tomboy and more accustomed to rough housing. While her brother is stronger than she is, she has more stamina than him and could beat him in a foot race any day. And although she could never kill something she was not bothered by the look of injuries, illness and death when she needed to treat someone.
Flaw: What Rhea has in speed, stamina and knowledge of herbs and plants, she lacks in physical strength and weapon handling. The closest thing to a weapon she ever held was the knife she used to cut up the vegetables to make her favorite stew; which was so rare that she isn't sure it would even count as experience. When it comes to handling stress, she can only handle so much before she starts to crumble underneath the pressure. She also has a weak stomach, she was never able to bring herself to kill a fly.

Token: A sliver leaf charm on a matching silver chain. It once belonged to her mother and was locked away in a safe place by her father. Only coming out when Rhea volunteered.
