Might Wanna Survive, Y'know.

Freckles walked to the Survival station, automatically starting a fire within seconds of the instructor asking using two leaves, a piece of dry wood, and a steel and flint. The instructor explained how there probably wouldn't be any steel or flint in the arena, and so Nefara went, found some dry animal scat, placed this on a pile of dry leaves, and worked with two pieces of wood to start one. Eventually, a spark caught onto the scat, and Nefara blowed on it carefully until it was a roaring, crackling fire, lighting up the station and heating the area. With three stomps, the instructor put it out, then showed her how to not freeze to death at night without a fire. Nefara paid close attention--while everyone else was hacking away in the ranged and melee stations, she was learning the skills needed to actually SURVIVE without a weapon. She highly doubted that she wouldn't have a weapon--but she could never be too careful, right?
