Josh didnt have to worry about any more attacks coming at his direction, for this moment. he then saw skye's last feeble attempt with a bow. i will give it to the boy, he has persistance josh thought. he stepped back a few feet towards his two allies but not before jabbing one more time with his knife at skye. he walked back primarily in marias direction, staying out of the way of the current trade that was going on. he knew maria needed her sword. didnt gen know she would just stab her in the back right when she got the sword back. he just waited for everybody else to move now

The ground tilted sideways slightly under the tributes feet, it wasn't too much, but they could all feel it.

Genevieve tried to lean out of the way of Rhea's attack. She could move very much because that would not help her wounds. She glared at Rhea before switching her gaze to Maria. Then she shrugged very slightly. What harm could it do? She would he just as dangerous with one sword wanting to get the other as she would be with two swords. It didn't really matter now anyway. It was the final five. Genevieve tossed the butterfly sword over to Maria and then swung at Josh with her axe. Hopefully she would hit him. And hopefully Rhea wouldn't try to block for him.

Maria watched Josh as he came up near her and she gave him a small smile. As the fight went on she could tell that Skye and Gen were looking for a way out and Maria didn't want that, someone needed to die and it wasn't going to be her. That was when she felt the ground shift a bit. She found it rather odd but she'd cross that bridge when it came to it. Maria caught the second butterfly sword, "Thanks for the sword." She said grinning, "It was a stupid trade really but I can't complain." She said grinning and then she swung her sword at Gen.

Rhea watched as Genevieve moved out of her way, and forced her to miss. The one drawback with the spear was that once her path of attack was set, it was pretty much cemented in place. The length of the weapon made it so any quick, sudden movements were much harder to pull off, but the defensive capabilities made it Rhea's ideal weapon so it was something she didn't mind dealing with.

It was then that she noticed the blade of the axe hurling towards Josh. She ran ahead and went to push Genevieve's arm so that the weapon would miss Josh completely, and then in a quick pivoting motion she turned around and now facing Genevieve's back she swung upwards aiming towards the girl's torso. If she could hit he right in the ribcage she could probably knock the wind out of her, or maybe even open up the wound on her stomach more. Rhea just aimed to hit the girl where she was already wounded, although it is good to make more wounds, she should at least capitalize on the fact that the girl in front of her now had to broken ribs that would make it harder for her to move if she kept getting hit there.

It was in that next moment that Rhea could feel the slight movement underneath her feet. The ground shifted only a little, it was hardly noticeable. This concerned Rhea, it was like an omen. A sign of something to come, and that something she could only imagine would not be good. She looked around trying to see if she could tell what exactly caused the shifting she felt underneath her, but the thick layer of fog made it difficult to tell what was going on around them. All Rhea could clearly see was the 50 or so feet that surrounded her, for all she knew the cliffs that surrounded the arena could be crumbling and she would have no idea. The girl readied herself for anything, she lifted her spear and tried to listen to hear for any more clues of what may be going on around her.

Skye got up only to see his arrows missed and Josh came up at him with his,knife once again and missed barely. He took the chance during their close proximity to swing and slash his sword at him. He was a little disappointed, but it didn't falter his determination. He took a few steps back as Josh did but those steps made him realised that something wasn't right about the ground. Did it just... tilt? Well things don't just tilt for nothing. He picked up the last two arrows that laid on the ground and glanced around for a while, keeping watch of any monstrosity coming their way, which was highly likely. The Gamemakers were probably getting impatient and Skye didn't like this bad feeling of it at all. All the others seemed to have noticed it as well but now that question was when? And what?

Josh watched as rhea helped him, yet again. and it was also gen attacking him still. "ah to hell with it, im tired of this crap." he said as he ran up and sliced directly at gen, if this girl was going to attack him, then he would return the favor, he looked behind him at rhea and gave a knowing nod giving of the single i think i can handle myself now. but this was just simply an impulse, he would most likely need her or maria's help in later parts of the fight. he then felt the ground shake a small bit, is this some kind of foreshadowing? josh thought. he would need to live to find out.

Rhea noticed Josh nod towards her, almost telling her to back off. "Well...if you don't want my help than I won't give it. But a thank you would have been nice. Ya know the normal 'Oh thanks Rhea for saving my butt again,' but a simple nod is fine too." Rhea gave him a fake smile as she spoke those words almost sarcastically. Honestly, the least he could have done was say 'thanks.' She wouldn't need a kiss or anything like the way him and Maria always seemed to be doing. Whatever, Rhea really didn't have time for all of this drama. She just needed to make sure both Genevieve and Skye were dead before she could move onto the next part.

Rhea didn't even wait to see if Genevieve had blocked her attack. She didn't care honestly, really it was down to the final 5 and the other 4 people needed to die. She listened for a moment, still waiting to hear if she could tell if something was coming. But Rhea gave that up for now, deciding to cross that bridge when she came to it. She walked over towards Skye, lifting her spear and putting herself into an attack stance. She then rushed towards him, her spear lifted like a jouster would have it positioned. She jabbed the spear forwards towards Skye, hoping for a nice hit.

Skye lifted an eyebrow as Josh started to change target and before he could do anything about it, he spotted Rhea coming at him and he quickly swung his sword diagonally to push away the spear. He didn't have the time to worry over the weird ground at the moment. He'd probably die before he could even find out if he did. I need to pay more attention.. Skye reprimanded himself as he gripped his sword and slashed upwards at Rhea by instinct after that. Everyone seemed to have ignored that tilt for now but Skye decided to keep an eye for it just in case. He took a few steps back to keep the spear in full view, prepared to dodge it again, and swung his sword once to his side, hoping to get used to the sudden change in hand coordination. He didn't want to miss because of something like this. He tried to maintain some movement in his right arm, just to have some assurance that it didn't die on him or something. He would want to go back fighting with Josh but he'd just have to deal with whatever that was coming at him first.

Genevieve attempted to move out of the way of Josh's attack. But Rhea still managed to slice her in the leg. Genevieve just had to ignore the pain and move on. Why was everyone targeting her? All three of the people before her were attacking her. Well, until Rhea went and attacked Skye. But Genevieve wouldn't be able to move fast enough to help. So she just swung her axe towards Josh again. Hopefully Rhea wouldn't try to help him again. He neededto stop hiding behind a little girl and be a man.

Maria watched as nearly everyone was attacking Gen and then Rhea attacked Skye. Josh and Rhea had a bit of conflict going on here but what ever it was Maria didn't care. Maria had been tempted to fall out of the group here and attack someone else who was helping her out but she wasn't sure if that was a good option right now, perhaps she'd let Rhea and Josh get into it somehow. Maria then swung her sword at Gen again attempting to hit her. After that Maria had slowly backed away into the fog and then began to run out of the foggy clearing.

Josh was trying to be subtle when telling rhea he was ok. so why the hell was she screaming at him. hed didnt really care. he then looked over at maria (thats what the gif is) and raises an eyebrow, basicly asking if she can handle all of this by herself. then he looks over at genivieve and jabs his knife at her. he jumps back a small bit, and watches the next set of events happen.

Rhea watched as her attack landed on Skye and smiled a little happy that finally one of her attacks hit. She looked down, feeling her body now getting more and more tired. Rhea hadn't really slept since Kaspar's death. The nightmares haunted her more than any of the ones she ever had of Roe. She looked back to Josh, knowing that she really shouldn't have yelled at him. She nodded, towards him, but knew that was when she felt the ground begin to shift again. Rhea didn't like that. Her eyes widened as she looked around. The shifting of the mud could only mean one thing, and that was something that could easily kill her. Her tired body and mind could really only act on instinct; and her instinct was to get out of there. Unfortunately that meant leaving this battle without someone dying, and she hated knowing that she would leave this fight half won. She also knew that meant leaving Josh behind, but if she stayed any longer she may be dead.

Rhea looked around and saw her exit, and right on the way out was the perfect time for her to attack Genevieve. She swung her spear quickly at the girl, hoping to land a nice hit. She then ran over to Josh and stood next to him. "Look Josh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you, I just haven't slept since Kaspar...and well I guess I'm really starting to feel it. Look I'm getting out of here...just try to get out when you can, ok?" Rhea put her hand on his shoulder and nodded to him and gave him a reassuring smile. She hoped he would get out in one piece, and wished she could stay. But at this point in time, Rhea needed only to think of herself, and sometimes that meant leaving someone behind. Rhea turned and ran out of the foggy clearing, escaping from the fight.

Skye winced as the spear came in contact with his torso and swore silently as he tried to lift his right hand to put pressure on that fresh wound. He then realised that the ground shifted again. Was it a warning to get out of here? Well, Maria and Rhea took that hint and left quickly, but not before they could attack Genevieve one last time. He went over to try and block Josh's attack and lashed his sword at him with whatever energy he had left. Skye edged closer towards the outskirts of the foggy clearing, still wanting to fight Josh, but was prepared to make a run for it. There wouldn't be any point in taking the risk if he couldn't even make a hit. He glanced to Genevieve direction and looked towards the exit behind, signalling to her it was probably time to get out. Soon. He gasped of breath as he waited, to run, or to face whatever that was coming. But he wasn't letting Josh escape now.

Genevieve moaned quietly as she was hit. Before she even had time to recover Maria and Josh stabbed at her. Luckily they only hit her in the arm and not in her torso. She saw Rhea trying for the same thing and tried to move out of the way. Why was evreyone targeting her? It's not like she was the biggest threat or anything. She could understand Josh, since she had been targeting him, but why Rhea and Maria. Rhea was a horrible person though, so Genevieve kind of expected this. She lashed out at Josh after Rhea and Maria had left, and then glanced at Skye. Where would they go now? She started backing towards an exit anyway.

Josh watched as his two lingering allies left him. he honestly did not even care. he has fought them once and he took the cowards way out, but now he will not leave until he knows he is in dire danger. he flips his knife around and slashes directly at genievieve. He hoped to hit her weak point, the chest. he jumps back a little. "hey look, its just as again, de ja vu. he says as he takes a bite of his food in hopes that it would heal him.

The ground shook again, a loud rumble that continued on, unlike the others. The ground starts tilting more, and trees can be heard cracking and falling over in the direction the ground is tilting down at.

Skye grimaced as he failed to block and miss yet again. What the hell was wrong with him? He couldn't keep this up or they'll be dead before he could even say melodramatic. He wanted to go home, to see everyone and the sea again. And this was not helping him one bit. He shook his head and mentally slapped himself as he let out a heavy, frustrated sigh.

Skye almost lost his balance as the ground tilted even more. He glanced around to see trees snapping, ground rumbling, and it almost felt it was the end of the world or something. He let out a small smile as Josh made his smart comment, "Well at least this De ja vu isn't gonna end like the last." Skye looked at Josh as he ate what he had, hoping to heal. How does food heal anything? Your stomach maybe. He tied one of the leaves he had over his right shoulder with his left hand and mouth, just to make sure it doesn't get any worse than it was. As he made sure he got a good stance on the elevated ground, Skye slashed at Josh once more. It was much easier then before as his left arm started to get used to the weight of the sword. He almost didn't care if it hit Josh or not at that moment. Something else was coming, something even bigger than anything else, and running wasn't an option any longer. He doubt that it will do much. And as long as he could get used to this before it came, Skye would be thankful.
