I had been walking for a while when I came upon this field of bushes. I instantly recognize it as the place where I had nearly died on the first day. It seemed deserted now, so I decide to look for some berries to eat. Then, maybe I can get some sleep before I move on again.

I slowly came to a studding halt in the field. I looked around, seeing another tribute looking for food. I smiled, This would be a piece of cake. I slowly moved up behind the figure, and grabbed for a knife. I felt only 6 left. I gulped... Maybe not so easy... I Threw my knife with my practiced aim, and sent it in her direction.

I feel a sharp pain in my arm as someone hits me. I quickly look for an escape route, then I ready my sword. I've only used a sword once or twice, but that's enough for me to be able to use it. I take a stab at the tribute in hopes of causing some damage.

I gulped not sure I wanted to go on with this... She was a human, a person, and the only thing standing between me and Home. Along with another 13 tributes, but they would come later. I moved out of the way of her attack, circling to her right, and Threw another Dagger in her direction, not sure what I meant to do. "I'm Sorry Hun..."

I dive behind a bush, hoping to avoid his next dagger. unfortunately, I wasn't fast enough, and the dagger slices my arm. While I'm hidden behind the bush, I take a second to spread some more ointment on my wounds. Then I dash out and attack again. "if you were sorry, you wouldn't be trying to kill me," I growl as I slash my sword.

Chaos walks along, looking for the girl that had escaped him. He smiles as he sees her and sees Light attacking her as well, well he is on my side. Chaos remembers as he hurls himself towards her, looking to land an attack and getting a breif looking around him to see all the places that others could run out from.

I came upon the other tributes, Chaos, a boy, and the district ten girl and I smirked. "Picking on a helpless girl I see." I say and I came into the picture and I knew Rhea wasn't far behind. "Lets put a real show on, it doesn't prove you're strong when you pick on the weak." I said and then I swung my sword at Gemini and tried blocking his attack on the girl

I see Chaos come after me and I immediately try to dodge. Then I attack him with my sword. Out of the corner of my eye I see another tribute show up. Then I realize she's on my side. Thank goodness, someone who doesn't want to kill me!

Chaos turned around and saw Rhea and Maria coming. He sighed but looked to Rhea with pleading eyes, "Rhea please," He said as he turned to attack Ashley. Barley putting any strengh into it as he tryed to connect with Rhea.

Rhea followed bhind Maria as they reached a scen with Gemini and the district 10 girl. Maria ran ahead, prepared to defend the girl. Well so much for a peaceful day she thought to herself and shrugged. She ran ahead and saw Maria block Gemini's first attack, but he came with another. She went to block the girl from being hit hoping she could see it through in this critical time. She swung her spear upwards at Gemini hoping to hit him.

I was confused, what the hell was going on? Chaos was here and no one was attacking him or trying to and I had to get something in there, I needed to hit him. I then swung my sword at Chaos.

I Turned and Brought my shovel against Chaos's figure, Hoping for it to bounce off. I thought back to the alliance me and Ashley made in the lunchroom, how we'd attack, I'd draw in as many careers as I could, and we would finish them off. I never thought that she'd forget, or that the other would screw up my life. I had some one to get back to. Time seemed to blur as I looked at the destruction and hatred around me, and a tear, a cold drop of water streaked down my cheek, and something in side me broke. I suddenly didn't care if I made it home, or If I died here on the ground. There would be no point, we were slaves, and we are all going to die in the end. what is the point in the world? My arm still slowly arched towards his body, my mind racing for a way out of this.

Another girl shoes up and starts helping the first. Why are they helping me? It'd be better for them to have just let me die off, yet they're fighting for me to live! But I don't have much time to think about it. There's a battle going on. I watch as one girl attacks and misses Chaos, so I follow behind her and try to slash him with my sword. Then I roll back under another bush and finish applying ointment to my wounds.

I see Gemini suddenly attacking Chaos and for a moment, I'm confused. Then I remember. We had made an alliance earlier, back in the Capitol. I had nearly forgot. But now I remembered, and I felt bad for having attacked him.
