District 11 Reapings!

The District 11 escort steps up on stage and smiles with blindingly white teeth. She starts speaking in a high pitched voice, "Welcome everyone to the Reapings! Today one young man and woman will be chosen to participate in the 28th Annual Hunger Games!" She steps up to the big bowls containing the names of every child in the district, from 12 to 18. Her hands hover above the bowls for a second, as if deciding something. "Now then, Ladies first!" she says, and reaches into the bowl filled with girls names...

.:The two tributes "Rose Marina" and "Gemini Twen" had been chosen for slaughter, all that would be left would be to cart them off for their grand appearance in the Capitol. "Now then, are there any volunteers?" The escort asked as their two tributes joined them, on stage.

I nearly burst into tears as I step onto the stage, but I hold it in. It would make a fool of myself. Someone please volunteer...

I remembered seeing peoples reaction to the reaping, I don't even know what my own response was. I glanced to my left as the poor kids were smiling, thinking that I was gonna die, I flickered my gaze at the female tribute already on her way, tears streaming down her face, screams of long nights ahead ripping from her throat. The next thing I knew was that I was being dragged backwards by some person. I turned and saw Zach Hershey, A tall dark hair jock with bright green eyes. Zach had silent tears in his eyes, and was desperately pulling me back, Signifying the truth to everyone, about his Crush on me. I couldn't move, because he was stronger than me, but I suddenly felt the pressure release from around my waist, and a heavy thud. I turned just in time to see his body hit the floor, two shots to the chest, one to the head. Tears filled my eyes as 6 peace keepers came up and circled me, shoving me in a stumbling motion. I became even more numb to the world as the realization of Zachary's death, and my body started to shake. I heard loud shrieks of agony, it took me the entire time to realize that it was me. So much for being strong willed, Now I made a fool of myself over a crush. I sank to the floor at the stage just staring into the distance, Knowing something in me broke, Maybe my will to survive, we would all find out in the games.

Abigail sighs of relief. But it's sad though. It's sad when a person gets picked for the reaping. Antique just stares at the stage. No real expression on her face. "Another reaping goes past, another two people dead. " Antique sighs. Abigail tries to cheer up her sister. "Don't worry, atleast it isn't you." Abigail says, trying to smile. Antique still just stares at the stage where the two tributes were standing.
